I called our local florist, who directed us to Ten Pennies as "the place to go, definitely". They were SO RIGHT. I called a few days before the funeral. The person on the phone was so helpful, advising me of which flowers would be 'green' for use, asking me what we wanted on the ribbon, and even offering to see what they could get in Eagles decorations. She knew the funeral home and promised they would definitely arrive before the first viewing. A few days later, when we walked into the Funeral Home Salon, there they were and they were truly stunning - these pictures don't do them justice. The Eagles Organization had also sent a gift and a letter to our family, and so these were displayed in that grouping and it looked amazing. We were delighted at how well designed the display was. My 85 year old father grinned from ear to ear - exactly what he wanted. It was a bright moment in a solemn time. Thank you, Ten Pennies, for doing wonderful work. I emailed them because I hadn't received a delivery confirmation or tracking information, and they responded promptly confirming that the flowers had been delivered as scheduled. More importantly, my daughter sent me a photo of the actual arrangement, and I was pleasantly surprised! The flowers looked lovely and were a good value for what I paid. She said I had to talk to the 'finance dept' and request it with them. Once I was transferred, it was on hold while they contacted the local florist handlers they asked her to tell me to take 50% off again but I refused. Finance dept finally agreed and I held them on the phone until I received an email confirmation. The women was trying to get rid of me on the phone but I made sure she waited until the email was sent to me. This is by far the most saddest and embarrassing flower delivery services ever. DO NOT trust this site, or flowers by Eve, flowers by Nora, or Sunnyflowers, as they all are flowers brokers that take taking your money quickly, but order from local flowers shop who get paid a lot less as a result the flowers arrangements are poor and not what your originally promised thought their site.
