Three weeks before Mother's Day, my daughter ordered a $90 floral arrangement from Flowers By Nora for delivery. The first photo shows what was advertised online, and the second photo shows what we actually received. The arrangement delivered was about one-third the size of what was pictured and honestly looked nothing like what was ordered. To make matters worse, it was delivered the day before Mother's Day instead of on the actual holiday. When we contacted the company, they did nothing to make it right. Their policy apparently allows them to substitute arrangements at any time, but this was far beyond a reasonable substitution. I would never order from Flowers By Nora again. I chose a gorgeous, easy-to-maintain basket of various plants as shown in the picture with some flowers intermixed. I paid over $104 in total. I did not get an email when I ordered, which is a red flag. However after calling and following up, a delivery was made. The delivery was two orchids and the response was in their substitution policy they can choose what is available. The local florist that delivered also has horrible reviews, which makes me think they are all tied together, across the country. See pictures below. I paid for same-day delivery to have flowers delivered for my mother's birthday, and my mother did not receive the flowers that we chose from the website. In fact, the delivery driver dropped off the wrong flowers and the wrong card, and our order went to the wrong address. The picture aligns with the description. What was delivered was a bouquet of red carnations and greenery. There was no roses, no holly, no red foil vase, and no holiday ribbon. I contacted the company and they said, "we've determined that this order is filled to value based on our substitution policy." Since I was out of the country at the time of the ceremony my daughter was following up on these flowers. They weren't delivered, AT ALL. When she called for information she was shuttled from one rep to another and placed on hold for an extended period of time. They called the delivery driver and the flowers weren't even in the truck or on the delivery list.
