I'm not normally buying plants or plant-related products because the only success I've had in my apartment is one type of succulent (the Hobbit Jade Plant) that seems to thrive no matter what. That being said, I wanted to combine two separate plants into one pot on my window sill and needed the soil and a rectangular planter. Note - The only rectangular planters I saw were plastic, the soil was pricy compared to Home Depot, and an additional Hobbit Jade Plant was pricier there than what I've seen elsewhere. That being said, there may be other items competitive in price or not available elsewhere... plus (at least for me) it's convenient. Plus, it sells items like soil in smaller quantities, which may be convenient for people with small apartments. Recommend coming and checking Urban Garden Center out, including its chickens both in the hen house and roaming around free range!

Avoid this business!!!: UGC justifies bad behavior without apology. Customers are not respected,…read morefrom rude staff answering the phone with attitude, lack of communication regarding stated arrival time, to poor installation of plants that is not done with accepted standard practice of professional gardeners for the health of plants. Also, the plants that cost me a couple of thousand dollars had many broken branches because the workers rushed to install them. They also want payment up front before any delivery/installation/scheduling. It was a horrible and stressful experience. Informing the owner of my experience resulted only in his making excuses for USG's bad actions with no apology whatsoever. ***And because I posted my review, the owner Dimitri vindictively told me that he would no longer stand behind the plants or the work done to make things right. He didn't like my honest review. Prior to my review, he was willing to make right his failures, if needed. It is disappointing that UGC is unable to acknowledge its mistakes or shortcomings, and that they do not know how to interact with customers.

I called Plant Le Bacle and spoke to Michael (I believe he is the owner). He was absolutely wonderful. He spent time explaining what will work (and last) and what won't- told me not to spend too much on plants now since they will mostly die in Nov anyway- he didn't try to sell me anything- but instead he gave me his honest opinion about what will work and what won't. He even asked me to send him pictures of my balcony so he can help me more. For someone who is new to city gardening I couldn't have called anyone more helpful and honest- so glad I called!

This place is a total scam so please avoid purchasing your plants from this shop…read more I provided very specific details of what plants I needed to have shipped which was three tall Zeylanica plants in 9.5" pots. I was very specific about everything and I sent very clear images of what I needed based on my own wall of Zeylanica plants. I was assured repeatedly by this shop that they had the plants in stock and they were all tall and lush and would meet the requirements I sent over prior to purchase. This claim to have these types of plants in stock was a total lie. It also makes sense why when I asked the shop to please send me pics of the final items to be shipped they pretended not to have seen the messages in time. Unreal. What I actually received from Dahing were three anemic, wilted stalks, hollowed out, rotting stalks plants with soil packed so high you would not even be able to water the plants. The pots were all the wrong size when I specifically mentioned the sizing that I needed. If they could not provide these specs no problem at all, it's very specific, so no big deal but just say you are unable to fulfill this type of order. They didn't say that at all. They said they could easily fulfill the order and had the specs of plants requested ready to ship. Long story short I own beautiful tall plants and what they over sent was so below substandard I was actually quite shocked. It was crazy. I had concierge set the plants in the mailroom for any of their team members to take home. Nobody wanted the plants because they looked so terrible. $200 of my money in the trash. Could have been much worse, so I can live with the loss of the money. It's the scamming that makes me see crimson. Buyer beware. This shop is a total scam that sends wilted stalks, disease spots, anemic, overpacked with soil plants. Please go in-person when purchasing plants so you can see them with your own eyes. This shop must post fake images of plants to defraud consumers into thinking that is what they will receive. Be assured you will not receive healthy plants from this shop. If I could give a negative 100 rating I would. Avoid this scam artist shop at all costs.

Luckily, I managed to get in without a locksmith but what I discovered was that a pin broke off my latch. I went to the original locksmith that installed this lock only to find out that they're no longer in business. It was my first time here and while I didn't shop around, I was impressed. They didn't know if they had the part I was looking for, but they took me to the back and dug through their toolkit.
