Do not go here. I bought plants all over flower district and the two plants I got here came with mealybug infestations. It was undoubtedly from them. I had quarantined the plants and they were never watered while with me. It happened 2 weeks after I purchased them. I followed up twice email and called them and was ignored each time. Not only do they sell infested plants but they are also horrible to their customers. Not getting a refund is terrible but flat out ignoring me? AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The $200 Yucca plant they sold me half DIED within 7 days after they delivered to me. Staff tried blaming me it was my fault however I later discovered the plant was infested with mealybugs in the soil, after lifting the moss covering. Owner / staff avoided me, were always RUDE and gave me an attitude when I called. Wish I read reviews before buying here. See picture timeline of my plant's early death from date of purchase.

Started wilting on day 3, by day 5 half of flowers wilted and falling off

Update: 6 days after buying, only 2 flowers left. Definitely sold me a dying / diseased plant!

This is my goto place in the flower district for orchids and various plants like succulents. Staff is always friendly and arrangements are done beautifully. There's no extra charge to arrange plants in your case so take advantage.

    Several well cared plants

Excellent service and clean location. The plants seemed well taken care of. The nice young lady had patience and went to the basement to get the planters and saucers. We purchased an aloe Vera and she repotted and put some nice wooden pieces at the bottom and on top. We were delighted with the Aloe Vera and terra-cotta pots. She also gave us instructions as to how often to water it. We will make this a to go place when we would like to add some green at home and at the business.

14 days after orchid purchased. I have watered (gave 1 ice cube/stem) as instructed approx 7 days after original purchase.

I called Plant Le Bacle and spoke to Michael (I believe he is the owner). He was absolutely wonderful. He spent time explaining what will work (and last) and what won't- told me not to spend too much on plants now since they will mostly die in Nov anyway- he didn't try to sell me anything- but instead he gave me his honest opinion about what will work and what won't. He even asked me to send him pictures of my balcony so he can help me more. For someone who is new to city gardening I couldn't have called anyone more helpful and honest- so glad I called!

(The most important part) We fully acclimate our plants. Other companies ship plants directly from Florida to offices in New York. The drop in lighting is significant, which causes the plants to go into shock. This reduces the chance for the plants to survive in New York. Our plants are much heartier because they are already prepared for the low light office conditions. The office plants we sell are also guaranteed to be of the best quality available. When you call PLB you will be talking to experts with over 40 years of experience in the indoor and outdoor horticultural business. A large part of our business is installing and maintaining office plants. Maintenance and care includes watering, cleaning, pruning, preventing and killing insects, and plant replacement (at our expense) should your plant die. Michael's (the owner) love of the outdoors keeps the business involved in designing and installing apartment terraces and penthouse terraces. The important part of outdoor work is picking the right species of trees and bushes for each location. Even though Manhattan is in zone 6B, which is very misleading, when the North West Wind (the killer wind) blows, temperatures will plummet. The vegetation freezes and the wind dehydrates and kills it. Example last year. *Our New York address is just our office. Please call.
