Horrendous. Management bills it as a "luxury building" but it is nothing of the sort. Management…read morerecently farmed out control of the heat to an outside company that keeps the average heat in the building at 68 degrees, the lowest legal temperature for apartments. But, heat rises and the hot water tank is on the roof, so if you're on floors 2-9, your apartment is freezing and way below the legal standard! And guess what, management doesn't care! The super told me to file a complaint with the city, and maybe that would get something done. Oh and by the way, the water tank in the building burst today because it froze, because they didn't have enough heat on. If you're cool with paying an obscene amount of money to freeze, go for it. Otherwise, pick one of the thousand other options on the Upper West Side.
