Their houseplant selection is incredible. The greenhouse is bright and clearly well maintained. It's one of those places where you can wander around for a while just admiring everything they have. I've gotten some of my favorite plants here, and occasionally they will have a plant sale. They also carry a great variety of outdoor plants including herbs, flowers, and landscaping plants. I've picked up starter vegetables like tomatoes here before and they grew beautifully in my garden. Another fun part of the store is their gift shop. They have lots of nature themed decorations, fairy garden pieces, and small garden accessories that are really cute. Dean is the owner and grows trees on his farms and transports them to this location to sell to the public or landscapers. Most of their trees are Norway Spruces with a few Blue Spruces and others. Dean came today and delivered and planted a beautiful Norway Spruce that we picked out. It was 10 to 12 feet high and 9 feet wide. The price was a very reasonable $500 and only 200 to deliver and plant. He stopped by yesterday to check out the area so when he came today he brought a large hole digger. He did a great job breaking through the remnants of our previous tree and took away the pieces. He also brought peat moss and soil. He and his assistant had it planted in maybe 30 minutes. He also brought a power blower for the dropped pineneedles. That is geat service! He left me care instructions and said he will come back if the tree slants. I highly recommend Dean. Don has been with them ever since I can remember, and he is always a delight to work with, too. The bushes & trees they have recommended & planted for me over the years were perfect... and they are still healthy. I don't have a large home nor a large piece of property, but Joe has always treated me like a major customer -- hopefully I will never have to use anyone else.
