I decided to…read morego with Cincinnati Arbor Services because the owner spoke most knowledgeably about my tree's damage, and the action that needed to be taken. I definitely made the right decision. They don't use any mechanical lift -- all the work is completed by one man in the tree and two on the ground. But they knew their craft well. The "man in the tree" deftly climbed to the break from another tree, kept safe by a series of ropes held by the "men on the ground." They worked well, efficiently, and safely. Even though a huge section of a branch hung high over my neighbor's yard, they were able to cut it from my yard and swing the branch safely away from their property and back to my yard. They were polite and inviting (I wanted to watch and takes pictures, and they invited me to a safe spot), and cleaned up both my yard and that of my neighbor's carefully. They ground up the branches on the spot, and, at my request, left the mulch for my garden. My only concern was their own health -- they weren't wearing ear protection to guard against the hyper-powerful and hyper-noisy chipper. But all told, they did a quick, efficient and safe job with excellent teamwork and friendly customer service!!

Don has been with them ever since I can remember, and he is always a delight to work with, too. The bushes & trees they have recommended & planted for me over the years were perfect... and they are still healthy. I don't have a large home nor a large piece of property, but Joe has always treated me like a major customer -- hopefully I will never have to use anyone else.

First, they give a two hour window to come give a quote. Though I value my time, I'm also in need of a solution and finding landscapers after so much rain is proving hard (side note: when I ask for suggestions, I keep getting ideas of who NOT to call). Second, with other contractors I've gotten the estimate at the same time as the quote. This place said they would email or mail me the quote. Two weeks later I was on a terror about Duke Energy, so I called Dave Vogel and asked for the names of his competitors because I figured he didn't or wasn't able to do the job since he didn't send the quote. He laughed and said he has no competitors because he's the best. I said if that's the case, I would have gotten a quote. Then, I got some run around that it was emailed, but they'd email it again. I'm not sure what kind of technology they use, but I didn't get it that evening and had suggested they just snail mail it since they had the address from visiting my house. At this point I just wanted to see what they suggested because I was thinking maybe I could DIY it. I received the quote 4 weeks after his employee visited my house to give a quote. Terrible. Then, I got a phone asking when I wanted to schedule them. Laughable!

Shady operation- Your money will be more appreciated with another company!
