Innovative, creative, and delicious. That's the first three words I think of when I remember this meal. Vegan food has come a long way from a gross salad at a burger joint to a place like this providing both whole plant and meat replacement dishes: done the right way. What I ordered was decadent and deep fried. It was a wonderful mix of shame and pride. Shame for eating fried food but pride knowing nothing had to die for it. They were clearly short staffed and unprepared for the amount of orders that came on at once so I'll give them a pass on quick service. Especially since the food was worth double the wait. The restaurant feels cramped but that's only because they're running an amazing restaurant in a small space. I only get this way once every year or so but I will be looking for this business to expand all over the south east. People need to be exposed to this place. read more

Oh my word! There are seriously no words in the English language to describe how amazing this food was. My mouth is literally watering as I type this review. The last time we visited Montgomery, we didn't get to try them because the fryer was down. We were determined to get it this trip. I wish I could bring them with me everywhere. You couldn't tell me I wasn't eating an actual Philly cheesesteak (and I'm a Philly girl). The "cheese" was sooooo yummy and the veggies were grilled to perfection. I don't know what that dipping sauce is that comes with the fries but BOTTLE IT UP AND SELL IT PLEASEEEEEE!!!!!! It was good one everything. The "wings" came with a yummy dipping sauce, but that pink sauce is addictive . Now let me tell you about the greens. I haven't had any in years because most places cook them with meat and I'm a pescatarian. They cook theirs with mushrooms and they are absolutely delicious. Make sure you try their drinks also. Small vegan/plant based restaurant in downtown Montgomery. Great menu with many options to choose from. I had the cauliflower wings and fries and my husband had the portobello burger with fries. "Delicious" doesn't even begin to describe our meals! The restaurant also appeared to be working on a catering order that needed to be delivered when we first got there. I don't even know where to start. This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. We were in Montgomery for a photoshoot and stopped here for lunch. Best decision we made! The food was hot AND fresh! The taste.... OH MY GOODNESS! The sauce !!! Now that sauce is so good I wanted to go back in there and ask what they used to make it lol. The lemonade with lavender topped it all off. We went for lunch today and it was amazing! If you are looking for delicious vegan food this is the place to go. We had the phylli cheese steak and the plant bae burger and both were so good. The vegan cheese was delicious and melty-which is hard to find. The burger patty is house made, very good and couples well with the apple slaw and jalapeños. I also recommend splurging on the fries-the homemade sauce for dipping them is slightly tangy with just a little sweet hint is perfect for the fries. Driving to Ohio from Panama City Beach, we lucked out when we saw a billboard on the highway for this gem of a vegan restaurant. It's only a couple minutes off the freeway and we'll worth it. The sauce on the veggie burger was incredible. Zesty. Sweet. Yummy. I also loved supporting a small black owned business in the cradle of civil rights movement. The food was wonderful. I went in today coming from atlanta and we got the Philly, Spicy Bae chicken Sandwich and some fries to share. The Philly was genuinely the BEST PHILLY that I ever had (vegan or not) the flavors were AMAZING. Honestly because of the small space & simple atmosphere I wasn't expecting such greatness! I'm used to vegan places over compensating in the atmosphere and the food will be lackluster but they did NOT DISAPPOINT. They exceeded my expectations and I had a wonderful time! Went out to support a Black-owned business, and found Plant Bae. WOW - I have a new favorite spot downtown! I'm not vegan, but I got the Spicy Bae Chick'n sandwich, and it was SO good. The Que-Dabra sauce was addicting. Spicy, sweet, and great on my sandwich and fries. Employees were friendly, and brought the food right out to our car. If you're downtown give this place a try!
