our baby Meow Meow. She had 2 seen other vets. Dr Jeff and Dr Petra could fix her when no one else could. Love you guys so much

Meow Meow had been to two other vets, with no luck. So we loaded up our car and headed to Colorado from New Mexico.. we knew if anybody could fix our baby. It would be Dr Jeff and Dr Patra and their staff.. We have found our forever Vet. Thank you so much for what you did for us. We can never repay you for that. May God bless you and everything you do in everything you touch always and forever Kellie and Johnny.

I brought my fur baby to see Dr. Jeff x's 2 here at PPP in a desperate attempt to save my Stuart's life. Stuart was doing his best to urinate. But could not relieve himself. I was frantic to get affordable help and relief for him. Friday the 11th of December was almost Stuart's last day on this earth. I was caught in a dilemma that no animal lover wants to be in. Financial euthanasia. The quotes were astronomical to get him care. After calling a large number of vets all of them pointed me to Planned Pethood Plus. After working a full day I rushed to pick Stuart up from home and make a madd dash to PPP before they closed for the night. Roughly a two hour journey. They took him in and did what they do as doctors. He stayed with them for a few days while trying to diagnose him. He survived and we took him home. Dr. Baier and Dr. Jeff both called me to explain their thoughts and profession opinions. The office staff from OSHA to Mindy and the intake specialist have been amazing. Although we are back for a follow up I trust their care. Stay tuned.

No responsible vet would agree, let alone require, that a sick dog receive elective surgery.

Make sure you read everything closely before choosing to bring a pet here. You may be subjecting your sick pet to additional stress during their recovery. I cannot believe a veterinarian would not only recommend but require that a sick dog be subjected to mandatory spay or neuter while already having their health compromised. This isn't the sign of a vet that puts a pets health first.

Take your pets to real professionals. I have been trying for weeks and they must have seen my previous review what a joke. Thank god for people that change for the better. People get fed up with BULLSHIT as you can see in the convo with them the lack of concern sucks. Yet this company still has no integrity or passion of helping sick etc pets. They aren't professionals they are workers that could careless about an innocent animals health and finally I spoke my mind as anyone would. They tried to call me a breeder cuz I have a boy and a girl cat and at the time I didn't want to fix him it was out of no where request and I didn't want my cat staying over night with these careless people. Still no word from the owner so you can see he or she condones this type of behavior. SMH

We love this healing home away from home. Our fur~baby Snugz has been going to Dr. Young since their previous bldg location. Now our lil man is 13.5 yrs old and is having some back disks compressions. The staff and Dr. Hutcheson is now helping us through our old mans next healthy, slow pace journey in his life. Our hearts are full here from routine check ups, to special treatments without going broke and supplying love, knowledge and the tools/meds for our family to proceed in a lovely direction. Even his meds our prepared for an easy dosage to our lil man with written clear directions and marked measurements : D

I was going to wait to post anything until we had talked to them and they had been given a chance to right a wrong. Dr. Jeff Baier was incredibly rude and unhelpful, so here we are. Last week we dropped my dog off for a cystotomy to remove bladder stones. We had agreed to pick him up on Friday, because there wouldn't be anyone home with him during the day until then. The vet called on Thursday to say that my dog had developed some swelling around his penis, and they weren't sure if it would be safe to send him home on friday. We were told that they had reopened his incision to check for hernia, fluid build up and/or infection and didnt see signs of any of those things. On Friday, the swelling looked worse according to Dr. Baier, so they were going to keep him for one more day to keep an eye on it. On Saturday we got a call that our little guy was ready to go home. We were advised that he still had some swelling. When he was brought out, he was wrapped up so it was difficult to see anything. When we finally saw his abdomen, there was redness, severe swelling and an obvious protrusion. There was no way this was normal. Later that night after deliberating, we took him to an emergency vet to get another opinion. They took one look at him and immediately admitted him because he looked so bad. Within an hour they confirmed that he had an intestinal hernia that would require another surgery to fix. We went back to Planned Pethood this morning to talk with Dr. Baier to find out what the hell happened. He insisted that there was no problem when he was discharged, that he had checked for hernia and found nothing. He offered to CHARGE US AGAIN to fix it, which we refused because the poor dog is so traumatized I refuse to bring him back into that building ever again. He became visibly frustrated and pawned us off on one of the ladies working the front desk. Dr. Baier's rudeness, unprofessional conduct, and blatant disregard for my pet are inexcusable. I cant believe a professional vet with years of experience would okay my animal to leave in the state he did. my advice to anyone considering planned pethood for surgery is to avoid Dr. Baier at all costs and research other facilities. I'm appalled with how our case has been handled.

Our puppies on the way to see Dr. Jeff Planned Pethood!

For all of you who wrote less than 5 Stars reviews for Dr. Jeff Young and his Staff at Planned Pethood, "YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO GO THERE"! Our rescue dog had cancer on his tail (found after our old vet amputated it at a hefty price)! We decided to give Planned Pethood a try for the growths on his back even after reading the negative reviews I read. We watch the show all of the time and could not understand why all of the negative reviews. My husband made an appointment to take our labradoodle up so Dr. Jeff could take a look. We made another appointment afterwards to have the 3 cysts removed and opted to send in for biopsy if they felt necessary. In the meantime we acquired a Aussie Poo that was 8 months old and had not been neutered and we had no idea what shots he had received. I called and asked if we could bring him at the same time to be checked out. The staff was very accommodating and added our new dog to the schedule. We took them both in yesterday and procedures were done on both. They kept us informed on how they were both doing and advised us that the other cysts were just fatty tumors and just needed to be removed. Our new dog was neutered and immunized, all at a fraction of the price we paid at our old vets office. It isn't the money, it is the care that Dr. Jeff and the staff gave. They are phenomenal and should be appropriated and rewarded for the care that they give. They are all friendly, kind, caring, and above all Wonderful at what they do. THANK YOU DR.JEFF & STAFF from the bottom of our hearts! The Palazzolo Family Colorado Springs, CO

Took our baby in for FHO surgery and it cost almost $3500 LESS than other vets.

Hi! I'm hoping and trying to make an appointment with Dr. Jeff. He saw my little dog about a year ago and she now has an infection in her mouth right under her eye. Dr. Jeff is the only Dr. I trust to take her to! Please help!?

Hi are you asking if there is more then one doctor at planned pethood?

How much does it cost to have our dogs nails trimmed? She is very tiny.

I am not sure but honestly would find a different place to go. Call the dumb friend's league.

My insitict told me to get a second opinion so I rushed to Conifer, 3 hrs away at 5:00 am just to find the Vet from Aspen Park Vet I'd used in the past, Dr Guerney who was one of a kind, had passed away earlier this year. They were now a very busy office with a very young staff and couldn't make time for us. In my desperation my friend called Bighorn. What a wonderful turn of events! Immediately I felt the peace come over me when his receptionist asked all the right questions and then actually listened compasionately to my responses! Amazing! She found me a spot for my Nala to be seen and within 2 hours Dr Curt was performing magic. Even tho I was being squeezed in and Nala wasn't his patient, he still took his time and was thorough, compassionate, kind, and most importantly extremely knowledgeable. I emphasize knowledgeable! His price was honest and very fair. Outstanding service! 5 stars! I will continue to drive the 3 hours if he will have us. Finding a quality vet, let's face it any servicer these days, who truly cares and isn't just trying to make money is a rare gem and worth the drive! Nala continues to fight and is holding steady! We can't expect perfection from our caregivers nor to have all the answers, perform miracles, or know what to do at all times but we can expect them to care, listen, and make wise, logical choices with the health of our loved ones. That is the profession after all. Thank you everyone from Bighorn from me and Nala!!! If you are reading this send some sweetness Nala's way!

Their staff, across the board, greeted us with only compassion and kindness. Kerry M. was our vet and she walked us through every step, educated us, was patient, and was so kind to Iverson and us. I had to cancel the first appointment because I was not ready to say goodbye. They offer a cancellation window up to 4 hours before your appointment and allow you to carry over your deposit to when you reschedule, with no extra fee. So thankful for this understanding. The cost may feel steep, but the in-home service is so so worth it. Iverson had his last meal while the pain meds were administered. It was a distraction where he didn't even notice. He felt safe and comfortable in his home, surrounded by family and on his favorite couch. He was then given a sedation medicine where he drifted into a nap on my chest. When the final medicine was given, he felt no pain as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have heard horror stories from other in home service companies. I had 3 friends use Caring Pathways and that is why we went with them. I am so grateful and thankful that we chose to work with Caring Pathways.
