From that experience, childbirth became something that brought fear, anxiety, and deep emotional distress. During my second pregnancy, even though I had an amazing medical team and delivered by C-section, I was extremely worried. My second daughter was born with some genetic anomalies, which at that time caused me intense anxiety, fear, and despair. Thank God, today those anomalies do not affect her life in any way -- truly a miracle from God -- but in that moment, it was emotionally overwhelming. This current pregnancy came as a surprise, and it was filled with challenges, discomfort, and many difficult days. However, I was blessed to be followed so closely by the wonderful AFA team at Emerson Hospital in Concord. They always respected my emotional condition and supported me with compassion, patience, and understanding. When the day of my C-section arrived, I was met with a team that completely changed my story. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Letner, the nurses, the nursing technicians, the anesthesiologist, and every member of the hospital staff. From the cleaning staff, to the people who brought my meals, to everyone who cared for Bella and for me -- I will be forever thankful. You rewrote my maternity story. Today, I can honestly say that I experienced a birth that I can remember without emotional pain. I felt safe. I felt cared for. I felt respected. Nursing staff respected my birth plan and made every effort to adhere to our wishes. Once the baby arrives and move to our suite each nurse who entered were full of excellent advise, instruction, and compassion. Baby and husband roomed in during our stay. Room service was quick to arrive and delicious. My favorite part of the stay was when nutrition came by with a cart of delicious sweets and fruit. Emerson didn't treat my labor and delivery like a medical disease or emergency. I would highly recommend using this center to any expectant mother.

The nurses called me back within an hour and scheduled her appt for 2 weeks out cause my availability. Gave us the Dr we requested. I got there 45mins early, and they still saw us. We weren't even done with the paperwork you have to fill as a new patient. My daughter LOVER Dr. Thomas, which makes me incredibly happy cause the way my daughter described how she was treated makes you feel comforted, cause my daughters well being and care is in their hands. Their waiting area is HUGE with TVs and lots of seating. The staff is so polite and kind, it's easy to find to despite the address seeming like it would be difficult

I was seen right away by a very professional nurse & my vitals were taken & she inquired about the reason for my visit. The doctor sent me in for an X-ray prior to seeing me. Dr McDonald then explained he didn't see any major injury but after questioning me, was concerned about a possible blood clot. He then referred me to the ER to rule out this possibility of a blood clot & further suggested I see an orthopedist for the knee pain From beginning to end the care I received was thorough & professional. She said another 15 minutes because the Doctor was with a patient, mind you I had an appointment scheduled to avoid this type of wait time and the app said that nobody was ahead of me in the scheduling time slot. At 9:48am, the doctor strolls in. No introduction as to who she is and no apologies about the wait time. Then goes to tell me I just need to stretch due to my serve back pain and can barley bend over to attempt to touch my toes. No common curtesy of wasting my time when I had to be at work for 10am, WHICH WAS A 20 MINUTE DRIVE. This is why I even scheduled an 8:30am appointment to make it to work on time. After "diagnosing" after a 3 minute appointment, I walk out and one of the nurses is just taking a casual nap at the nurses station!! What joke this place is!! COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND SO UNPROFESSIONAL!! THIS LOCATION IS AWFUL. AVOID THIS PLACE IF POSSIBLE!! THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST EXPEIRENCE AT AN URGENT CARE I HAVE EVER HAD. ZERO STARS !!!!!!!!!

On this most recent visit, I went in for…read morethe flu with wheezing (history of asthma) and was given 4 days of prednisone at 50mg once a day, including the day I was there, making the round of meds 5 days. I didn't know 50mg was a high dose. I have only ever had 10mg, but thought they must know best, so I stayed on it and on day three, my blood pressure dropped like a stone and I had to call 911. I was cleared by the EMTs but it was a scary moment. They told me the dosage was too high for the average person. The moral is to always ask about the medication - if they had checked my MyChart, they would have seen what my typical dosage is for when I get sick. I shouldn't have assumed, but I feel like they are at fault too for not being more thorough. The visit was rushed. I was in and out in 20 minutes!
