For a second, I thought this place no longer existed because there hasn't been a review since 2010. But don't fret, it does and it's great! I walked here from the train station before I had to catch the bus to get to work. From the train station, it's about a 5-7 minute walk, which is great because it allows me plenty of time to grab a smoothie before catching the bus. The store was a little small, but there is some outdoor seating too, so I can imagine that a lot of people spend their time outside when it's warm out. I ordered a regular sized (the smallest size) Mediterranean smoothie, which contains strawberries, bananas, and orange juice. I was given a reasonable amount of smoothie for $4.65, and it was pretty delicious and refreshing - great way to start my day. However, given the simplicity of this smoothie, I could've made it at home for half the price. Perhaps next time I'll try a more complicated smoothie to get more of my money's worth, but from what I ordered, this place is pretty solid.

    Nice quotes on the wall!

I haven't been here in many years and as far as I know this is one of the only smoothie places I could find in the area! They definitely have a lot of flavors but so many of them still use sherbet and juices which just knocks down the "healthy" aspect of a smoothie. They're also a bit pricey. I know both of these problems are more to do with the company than this particular business but regardless, their menu needs to be updated. They did have some acai smoothie options, I got the acai gold and it was delicious - just expensive. It also appeared as if they may have had smoothie bowls, there was a sign on their door which if I remember correctly was the same exact sign I saw many moons ago when I was last here (translation : the sign is years and years old), however it wasn't on their menu. Aside from that the staff is nice, they don't have their own parking which sucks, and the place was a little dirty. It had been painted since I was last there but somehow managed to get incredibly grimey since that time. The grossness factor of stained pillows and cushions was high. If you're trying to look cute clean and/or replace the objects in your seating area often.

FANTASTIC smoothie. No weird chemical taste at all. It was well made and fresh…read more The ladies working there were wonderfully helpful teaching me about the menu (my first time there). They have samples! What a great idea! It helped me figure out what I wanted AND what I'll get next time. Brilliant. The one lady took her time to really explain to me each ingredient. The place is bright, clean, and with very cute branding everywhere. I'll be back.

Located in one of the ring buildings in the Summit Square Shopping Center on the Newtown Bypass,…read morePure Green is a juicery/smoothie/healthy snack house of recent vintage. This is there second shop in the area (Princeton is the other), and a third is near opening in Ocean City. The ambiance is blond wood, lots of windows and growing succulents on every table and shelf. It is bright and cheery, inviting a long hangout for work or conversation. Power plugs are plentiful. I walked in intending to grab and go, but was quickly seduced by the attractiveness of the room and friendliness of the two women who interacted with me. I ordered a Blue Royale Smoothie, and as the only customer in the house, took a table in the corner overlooking the entire operation and the sunny world outside. It was primarily a blueberry concoction, with several other healthy ingredients mixed in, and presented after blending as a deep purple slurry. It was cool and delicious and encouraged a slow pull on the straw to stretch out the enjoyment. I took a final suck 30 minutes later; that's how good it was. I will return in the morning for their steel cut oatmeal and perhaps the avocado toast. Just wish they brewed organic coffee for those of us with caffeine needs. Too, Pure Green would be an unchallenged social benefit if they found a way to reduce plastics in their products. At $10+ for a smoothie or bowl, that should not be so difficult to work into their environmental footprint. Otherwise, Pure Green has a lot of nutripromise.
