So I bought my moms here (we are still here actually) and it was a pretty pleasant experience. We 1st dealt with a sales agent named Ash whom came over and helped us who was very accommodating. We ended up switching to another sales agent because my mother wanted a pre-certified/ used vehicle and the agent that was with us only sold new cars. The next gentlemen he introduced us to was a salesman named Manny. He was very patient with us "especially" since my moms didn't really know what type of car she was looking for (lol). At no point did he seem like he was getting impatient and he didn't try to push my mother into getting something she did not want like other sales people may do. My moms ended up test driving the Honda HRV and while she was test driving, he was very knowledgeable in showing her the features of the vehicle and pretty much giving her free reign in driving but still having control over the sale. Although my moms did not purchase the vehicle, Manny was by far the most helpful of all the sales associates she's dealt with at Honda and other dealers. Additionally, you can't go wrong with a Honda as they have an EXCELLENT REPUTATION as far as cars on the market. So even though she didn't purchase a vehicle today, I'm pretty sure she's going to come back and make sure Manny gets the sale! read more

They won't have the car until you don't need their service. I was looking for a specific Honda and I was told that it wasn't available after I placed an appointment to view the vehicle. So I go somewhere else and I get non stop calls from their dealership agent that informed me that the car wasn't available then somehow it became available. It just wasn't the best timing. Their customer service/lease concierge rep continued to email me to let me know that they have great deals for me and they're willing to give me the best price if I lease with them again! Im intrigued so I ask for a quote, they have their sales rep Frankie call who spend a total of one minute on the phone with me to tell me otherwise. People here are SHADY! 1) They will rip you off and try to upsell you in every single transaction. 2) Some of the employees told me that my car had navigation. Me being a dummy, did not check to confirm. IT DID NOT. 3) They will drag out the hours to get you tired and exhausted and if you tell them exactly what you want, they will give it to you, at a much much higher price. Try to go knowing exactly what you want, but DO NOT let them know, and then when you have all the information, leave and come back with a clear head. Otherwise they will "sell you what you want", and you will regret it. 4) They will use your emotions against you and pressure you especially if you go with your partner. They will try to push her if they cannot push you so that you take the bait. In one instance, the manager tried to pressure me (my partner and I had asked for the day off to go there) and was angry at me for "wasting his employees time" and that he "lost customers and is not getting paid" because it took THEM like six hours to do the simplest things and get all the paperwork going. I ALMOST CURSED HIM OUT. 5) In the Finance department its even worse. I bought a package for them and when I noticed that some of the stuff I am paying for was not included, they played stupid and said they don't understand why it was inactive. 6) They will take ZERO responsibility until you come 2-3 times for the problem. They will sell you a defective car and then refuse to do anything about it. By BATTERY gave me problems the first few weeks. Someone did not make sure that the battery cables was tight. The cables came loose, along with the platform that holds the battery in place so that it does not move around while you drive. I scheduled the car to be serviced. First time, "they did not find anything wrong" with the car. Second time about a month later, nothing again. I took the car to autozone and guess what? The battery was faulty and not keeping charge. FINALLY, the third time i flipped on them and asked them how the hell no one noticed the battery was faulty when they sold me the car!? They gave me a new battery "free of charge". 7) I doubt they actually service the car sometimes. My car has had the light on for a while now (low tire pressure). I've had it serviced multiple times and its like nothing gets fixed at all. They even forgot to put the lids from the tired back. ‍ The list goes on but my fingers hurt from writing so much. My husband and I both currently work in customer service and have our whole lives. We know what it is like to deal with people and therefore always try to be kind and understanding when we are the customers. I don't write bad reviews. This place is an exception. My husband bought a car June 6. The next day the check engine light came on and we had to bring it back. It also had a broken caliper which caused an oil leak that stained our driveway. It sat there a few days, but that's fine. It got fixed. Then on July 3 the passenger side window just fell into the door and wouldn't come up and was unusable. My husband called them on July 5. They wouldn't tell him any info over the phone as far as the warranty or potential cost. They mentioned nothing about a fee just to look at it. There wasn't an appointment until July 10, and when he arrived they said it was out of warranty so they wouldn't cover anything. Despite the fact that he contacted them when it was still under warranty. It was already the third issue with this car and they hadn't even given him his license plates yet! It would be $189 just to look at the car to diagnose the problem. Then god knows what on top of that. Eventually they offered to cover half the diagnostic fee, which is almost meaningless because it's waived if they fix the car anyway. A reputable place would have stood by their warranty especially considering there had already been issues on DAY TWO of owning this car. A reputable place would have given information over the phone to make an informed decision. This place is looking to take advantage of customers who are in a vulnerable position. We chose to take our business to somebody we trust rather than giving them another dime. Route 22 is a terrible road and this place is not worth the drive, trust me. read more

My salesman was great and a total professional throughout the entire process. So was the loan officer and I was satisfied with the purchase process. I have the names of both upon request but I'd rather not associate either with this review as my negative experience has nothing to do with them. I bought the car and on the ride home noticed the A/C only blew hot. I called their service department 3 separate times within a week of purchase and every time I was treated like any other non-customer coming in. 3:30 is their last appointment, no loaner vehicle, still CPO charge on fix. Basically not lifting a finger to help past standard issue maintenance I can get at any other dealer. This is immediately after they sold me a less than functional vehicle! And assured me that they did some kind of maintenance "tune-up" along with a full detail. The car needs a new condenser and I am having it fixed at a different dealer. I just got got a Pilot from PH 3 days ago. I had shopped around for the best deal I could get and PH was the only one to hit the payment I was hoping to have for a bigger, nicer car. My salesperson, Frank Talarico was thorough and honest which is what I needed! He went above and beyond by helping me transfer my insurance to the new car. When my new car was ready he went through all of the things inside the car to make sure I knew how to use everything inside. He even synced my phone to the car for me! By the time I got to the financing part of the process I was a bit antsy, but Joe Harrison managed to keep me on task and focused while explaining all of the ins and out of the contracts I had to sign. It will be quick, I'll have everything ready" I was promised that planet honda will give me the same rate as my credit union but after waiting four hours, I was given a rate 2.5% higher. When I decided to walk out after I explained to them that the shady salesman dragged me there on New Years eve, all of sudden... rates dropped. Why do you people play these games? Now this is we're the 1 star less comes from, I was called in for my plates around 6ish I get my plates and the lady says service can put them on so I go over there around 6:50 and I asked Johnny kindly could he put on my plates and he's say not I'm not doing it we're are closed, I get it you want to go home but it take 20secs to put on plates so I go back to front desk to ask if someone else can do it, as I'm coming out he close the gates this close to my car (photo attached) with no care about my car at all then WALKS AROUND DOING NOTHING FOR 10MINS. Let me first start by saying this review is solely for the SERVICE CENTER, as we had a wonderful experience with sales. I brought my car in to this specific dealer for a recall, along with an oil change/tire rotation - as the first rotation and (2) oil change(s) were covered by Planet Honda since we bought our vehicle here. It is not extremely convenient for us due to location, so the plan was after the first year to take it to a dealer closer to where we live/work. First, I was told that the service was going to take 2 hours. No problem - I mean, who wants to waste 2 hours sitting at a dealer, but you have to do what needs to be done. I do, however, ask if it's to be longer that I'm updated. 2 hours and nearly 45 minutes later - I head to the desk and it's not even acknowledged that I'm a little upset. Then when I mention I would have liked to be updated on time, my service agent - Alan Mine says, "well it's not like I haven't been working this whole time." After I leave - I'm over half way home (again, dealership is not very close) my low pressure light comes on.. What?! I just had a tire rotation, that is absolutely something they should have checked. SIDE NOTE: when we bought the car, they sold it with nitrogen tires that they said they would "top off any time you're in the area." So now, I can't just pop into a gas station and fill it with air. ...it gets even better! I call to speak with someone and NO ONE will pick up my call. I get told twice that a manager will call me back. We are approaching 24 hours and still not even a call back. I'd rather pay for my next oil change than deal/waste my time with Planet Honda and their subpar service! read more

Approached about 6 salesmen, none of which were eager to greet us because they were too busy with their own conversation. Terrible dealership! Lied to us to get us in the door even though we live 5+ hours aways. We were given a quote on the Type-R from 2 different sources by them and when we are about to show up they say it was wrong by about 10k!! The Manger said he needs to get with his "girls" because they shouldn't be giving quotes. All he did was apologize and wouldn't even give us gas for the inconvenience! I was convinced that i was getting an upgrade from Civic to HR-V, but I was sold the worst downgrade possible for a very high price. The sale person did not tell me about all the functionalities that won't be available in the "upgrade". I would stay away from this place. While they advertise low prices, they tack every fee you can think of on their car which negates the savings. Nitrogen for the tires, "appearance package" and higher than normal doc fee. On top of that, they employ pressure tactics where they tell you to make an offer and sign it saying you will buy it Whatever their selling price, tack on an extra $1500 for their fees for an idea of real cost. They also made me come into the dealership to negotiate on price and would not budge at all With that said, I gave them an extra star since they take COVID19 seriously, they have some machine that does temperature checks and you get a sticker to say you passed the check. They also some nice web software for the quotes and send you a detailed e-mail of the offer after your visit with the complete breakdown of fees. read more

I came here because both of my wife's coworkers recommended this location. They are senior executives so I trusted their judgement. So far I am a Happy Camper. Came to Planet Honda to get the car service at 27.5K miles. My baby needed some fine tuning to work at optimal level. Arrived an hour early. They said come on in. No issues. Nice welcome. Told me to wait by some meeting space. Five minutes later service guy came on by. We went over the work, cost, time frame, etc. Ok let's go. About 30 minutes later the service rep called me and told me a couple of things needed to be done. I am sure he was up selling, but I knew by baby needed attention. He worked with me on the cost. Hour later I was paying the bill. Total cost $489. It seem high, but my Honda needed things done. I could have waited, but your here; why wait. It is part of the cost of driving a car. While I waited I read the reviews. Most seem to be about car purchase. How expensive, rude service, etc. etc. Let me say; when you buy a car or lease one; do your HOMEWORK. Know the answer before you ask the question. This is basic negotiation 101. Be ready with options and be prepared. If I can sell you something at x plus 15%; I will. Supply and demand. Just remember to be ready and prepared. I will certainly have my car service here again. I found no issues here in the service department.
