    I am writing this review from the parking lot of Planet Honda so you can understand my frustration of my experience. I have a 2011 Honda Accord coupe that takes a specialty tire. I caught a nail in my tire and it had to be replaced. Fine, $200 for a single new tire, however they don't stock this tire so it has to be ordered. Which means that I'm without my vehicle over the weekend until next week. I was told (and I'm sure they sell ALL potential customers) the fact that for any reason you are inconvenienced where they have to keep your vehicle, you would be offered a loaner car comparable to your purchase. Expecially when you buy the extra protections or such. Long story short that is NOT the case according to Steve in the service department. Yes I was given a "loaner" car that was a bottom basic car that has NO similarities to the vehicle that I am paying for! First of all, I'm not happy that I'm stuck with a vehicle is a complete and total downgrade, but to make things WORSE, they give me a vehicle that is FILTHY! There were candy and potato chip wrappers all over the car along with crumbs and other things I couldn't even identify. I have pictures. I'm inconvenienced in multiple ways due to the fact I don't live close to the dealer, plus the tank is almost empty. Way to treat a customer who has a choice to take my business elsewhere. In a nutshell, I was given a dirty car with no gas. I shouldn't have to drive all the way BACK TO THE DEALER which is so far away JUST to complain until they decide to clean the vehicle. That should be common customer courtesy!! So I learned a lot about my dealer today. Once you buy a car and drive off the lot, the "king customer" treatment is null and void once they get your money. Everything they sold you on as far as perks DO NOT EXIST. To quote Steve "we don't HAVE to do that". Fine. So I'm letting POTENTIAL customers know the TRUTH as it's been told to me so they are aware. BEFORE writing this review I gave planet Honda EVERY OPPORTUNITY to resolve this situation whereas I FIRST voiced my dissatisfaction to Steve. He told me to talk to a SALES manager, in which I talked to some guy named "MOÑEE" and some other lady. Though the both "seemed" concerned, they both eventually blew off the opportunity to address my concerns. The lady even went so far to insult my intelligence by "offering me restaurant coupons" for my inconvenience. Well she left and NEVER returned. Go figure... No one can say they were unaware of my dissatisfaction PRIOR to this review. I let them know that if I was to write a review on my experience, being honest about it would not be a positive one. However it is my HONEST experience and they dropped the ball. AS A CUSTOMER, I have a choice to take my business elsewhere and for now on I will do so based on this experience. I encourage others to do the same to save yourself from the frustration that I have to feel leaving this lot right now.

The manager pulled off with the car as soon as they brought it up . Without my permission, as well as his "employee" who was African American and didn't have no say in anything witnessEd it all but as soon as we pulled up there . The employee was on another call and drove off while we were pulling in very guilty huh? So here we go with the disrespectful , lying , money hungry , goofy manager. He kept lying saying that I said one thing when I told him to his face "IM NOT MAKING A DECISION TILL MY MOM AND SISTER IS HERE". Gladly my mother walked in and talked things out with them because they know what they did to me her son . So with this also being connected to Park Forest police who tries to use people's accidents or people being stuck in a ditch. To their advantage so they can meet their "buisness" quota , and or make there police buddies look good as well for putting people into their money trap . Luckily me and my family was able to get the car out of that piece of shit ass yard. And gladly they didn't get reported to the news for the actions that I went through on MLK day . With Park Forest Police as well as Coys towing place . They prey on people who get into accidents on the backroads . should've just left myself in the car and waited on my insurance to pull up . But police are supposed to respect your wishes and help right ? Not help themshelves and their crooked ways of thinking. But God don't like ugly so in due time what goes around comes back around .     Consumers beware. We brought our 2014 Ford Escape to Sutton Ford on January 28, 2026, because it…read morewas shuddering and shutting off once warm. After several days with limited communication, we were told that diagnostic testing identified a coolant sensor issue as the cause. Based on that explanation, we approved the recommended repairs. On February 3, we were informed the vehicle was fixed and ready for pickup. We paid $1,180.55 before receiving the keys. However, immediately upon starting the vehicle in the dealership lot, it continued shuddering and shut off. The tire warning light we were told had been repaired was still on. We had to leave the vehicle as it was inoperable. The following day, we were told by the service manager that a full inspection had not initially been completed. Shortly after, the diagnosis changed to a transmission issue with an $8,000 replacement quote. The invoice indicates that no post-repair road test was performed before the vehicle was released to us as "repaired." The original issue was not resolved, and the vehicle remains inoperable. We encourage others to ask detailed questions, request written confirmation of repairs performed, and confirm that a post-repair road test has been completed before paying and leaving the lot. We feel completely scammed by this dealership! Stay away.
