All the "people" are here, every race and creed, hard working people from laborers to white collar professionals, retirees to homemakers, teenage athletes to teenage wallflowers. All the "goals" are here, bodybuilding or powerlifting, boxing or sports specific, group classes and cardio, injury prevention or mental balance, weekend warriors or general wellness, clients with trainers for something specific or clients with trainers who like to torture their trainer for their entire lives... The equipment deserves mention, as they are the most balanced machines ever. They maintain the equipment to perfect working order, whether it is an antique relic or a brand new chinamade machine. You will be hardpressed to find something that isn't here. Top level athletes have all they need too. King's gym has a unique vibe without forcing it. The feel of King's gym is an organic phenomena that many have tried to sort out. It is unpretentious. There is a very hardworking population that is amongst this crowd, as well as folks who are serious about their gym goals. If you see someone frowning and looking rough, almost always are those the people who will light up with gentleness and laugher if you strike a conversation with them. Problems are immediately mitigated here. If there is a situation that is a threat, it is quickly irradicated. In 22 years of training here, I have seen maybe 2 issues. They were eliminated so quickly you couldn't believe it. The owners are family oriented, clean, folk. Very approachable, and straight with you. if you are humble enough, you could even learn powerful lessons from them, as they are coaches. God bless King's gym and all its staff and members. Amen

I typically go to the Beachwood OTF and found that Solon's equipment wasn't as high-tech and didn't have as many OTBeat screens to track your progress. However, the equipment was clean and the energy was high. I'll be happy to stop by this location, again.

During my initial visit my tour guide referred to it being like a county club. Right on - upscale and relaxing vacay vibes. I have only remained a member for a few months due to life events and health circumstances. I was always very enthusiastic about visiting Life Time! AMENITIES: The club is very clean and every part of the experience is well designed. Everything you need is there. For instance, you'll get all toiletries and towels for your shower or sauna visits. The club well serves a variety of guest groups catering to their unique needs. Parents can use childcare service. Millennials can utilize pickleball courts. Retired folks can partake in a fun Arora aquatic program. There are numerous amenities: full salon, cafe, co-working cafe, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, steam room, pickleball courts, rock climbing, Pilates studio, personal training, yoga studio, chiropractor, cold plunge, outdoor bar, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, workout area, cryo, and a lot more. You almost need a lifetime to explore them all! It was an immediate "yes" for me in terms of joining. The gym is very spacious, you never feel constrained at any times of the day. My favorite amenities are the outdoor pool and Club Lounge (co-working space). The outdoor pool is Olympic size pool with comfy lounge chairs and lounges. There is zero entry part and swimming lanes. Robust Arora program (open to any ages) offers fun water aerobics activities. The classes are so high energy! The pool was even open into October this year. Loved the pool! Co-working space offered me a lot of flexibility working from the gym and taking a break to enjoy the amenities. The internet speed is excellent! CLASSES: Classes can be conveniently accessed via Life Time mobile application. Sign-up is easy. Timings are suitable for various schedules. EVENTS: Life Time hosts plenty of events for members creating a communal feel - karaoke, swim nights, and even tequila tasting. Some feature a DJ and cool decor. While most events are free, you'll pay for drinks. PRICING: Prices match the amenities. I paid almost $200 per month for a single membership. Not everything is included in your membership (Pilates for instance), but most things are. You get some discounts (such as the salon, the cafe, and personal training) during your first month. It's definitely a pricey investment but also self-investment. CANCELLATIONS: Membership cancellation is very easy. I was able to cancel my membership via the app. I was sad to cancel my membership but life is lifing. You also have an option to pause your membership and partake in online workouts. DOWNSIDES: To be honest in my review, few issues exist at Life Time: - Concierges are not always pleasant. I had this experience, my guest did, and other members mentioned it to me too. The service is very dismissive. You will constantly get referred to the app, attentiveness is rarely a thing. - Cafe prices are outrageous and far higher than at any other health cafes. I recently paid over $40 for a power bowl (Shoyu-Sesame), protein balls, and a smoothie (Açaí Bliss). It's convenient to have a cafe onsite, but prices are wild for the portions and mediocre quality. - Open hours for the amenities are ever changing and unclear. It's hard to figure out when the pools are open or when cafe outdoors is available. Employees I've asked about the open hours were equally puzzled. This doesn't well serve busy individuals with demanding schedules and need to pre-plan. - The parking lot is very dim at night. While the area feels extremely safe, it's still not the best time in the evening. - Onboarding process is rather chaotic. I found myself asking basic questions about creating a pass card, locker use, open hours, and sign-up processes. I was constantly referred to the app which didn't have most of these answers. Overall, I truly enjoyed the amenities at Life Time. I will definitely rejoin when my personal circumstances change. I highly recommend dropping in for a day pass to experience Life Time or formally joining. You won't find a better gym around!

A former co-worker who teaches yoga classes there, she may not teach there anymore since the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic, invited me to take her yoga class so the class was free for me. I believe the gym offers a free week trial of classes or just one free class for prospective new members. YOGA -- I attended a vinyasa flow yoga class and I can't remember the specific name of the class but it was in-between a beginner's class and an intermediate class. I enjoyed the class because the instructor (Elizabeth) gave good directions/cues between movements. We did the typic upward and downward faving dog poses GYM -- The gym is HUGE and has a lot of weight machines to use plus dumbbells, bikes, and treadmills. You can get all your strength and cardio needs at this gym. I think they have a pool too. CAFE -- The small cafe is a convenient option to grab a quick bite post-workout. They sell smoothies, sandwiches, snacks, etc. After the yoga class, I ordered a small breakfast sandwich with egg and bacon and it tasted good. It wasn't too salty and it was just a typical breakfast sandwich. I also ordered a bottled SUJA green juice which was refreshing. Talked to an employee and a manager over the phone who refunded my money the first month it happened. I was assured the issue was "fixed". A month later I got charges again. I reached out for the second time, but never got the courtesy of anyone returning my voice mail to resolve the same issue. Decided to change my card to prevent being charged a fee to a gym I don't belong to and a gym that can't resolve issues. After I changed my card, was turned over to collection because apparently I owe membership fees to a gym I cancelled my membership with. In my mind, anything positive this gym offered is not worth the way this situation was handled. Would never recommend becoming a member here or giving them any form of credit card information.

I definitely needed to de-stress on this day after getting into a minor car accident earlier that morning. INSIDE -- The space is very warm and inviting just similar to a Spa. When you enter, you will be greeted by a staff member at the front desk. There are numerous chairs to sit at in the lobby. There is also a water/tea station right at the front as you enter. In addition, you can remove your shoes and jacket at the front entrance. There is also a back entrance as well because the front outside gets congested from parked cars. SERVICES/TREATMENTS -- If you enjoy fitness, then a small gym is available for use before or after a wellness service. Private personal trainers train clients inside this gym so you can book a personal training session. For services, they offer CRYOTHERAPY, INFRARED SAUNAS, SALT THERAPY, NUCALM NEUROSCIENCE THERAPY, MASSAGE & COMPRESSION CHAIRS, WHOLE BODY VIBRATION (a small machine located in the gym), and more new services coming in 2020. Thanks to Yelp and being a Yelp Elite member, I got to try 2 services for free -- the massage chair and the salt cabin. I highly recommend the massage chair because it is zero gravity meaning the chair reclines back plus it really deeply massages the lower and mid-body. The salt cabin treatment felt okay to me because I was just bored inside plus it was really cold in there. However, there are benefits to salt therapy including helping with skin problems, inflammation, and removing mucous from the lungs. SAUNA -- Benefits include relaxation and detoxification. They have 2 sauna rooms. In my most recent visit, I paid for a sauna treatment which is $20 for non-members or 1 credit for members. Basically, 1 credit equals $20. Now $20 may be too expensive for some people but taking care of your body shouldn't come as a price; rather, a reward. Before entering the sauna, a staff member asked if I wanted electrolyte infused water so I gladly accepted a cup. It's important to hydrate before, during, and after entering a sauna to replenish water lost through sweat. I enjoyed the infrared sauna and the heat (135F) didn't bother me. Infact, I wished it was hotter....haha. Before I walked in, a staff member asked me what program I wanted and I believe I choose "detoxification". See my attached photos for a description of their sauna programs. Once inside, I sat then laid down while glancing through a book. There is a remote inside that allows you to adjust the light. The different coloured light settings are supposed to help the body in many ways. After getting out of the sauna, there is a mini-fridge that has a eucalyptus infused towel for cooling off. It felt nice to wrap the small towel around my neck and pat it on my chest. I highly recommend the sauna and massage chair. Visit Reset Lounge today located in quaint Chagrin Falls. You can book your appointments over the phone or on their website, they even link the appointment to your calendar! Stepping into the ReSet Lounge is extremely relaxing and almost feels like you are at home! Was welcomed with tea and positive spirits. I booked the massage chair & nu calm this time around. The massage chair is amazing as it hits every single part of your body! You are able to relax with an eye mask, music and weighted blanket on you (all provided by the lounge). I then followed this service with nu calm and this is needed for EVERY single person in the world! Haha. The ability it has to shut my brain off and to relax and not think was truly amazing. Truly can't wait to spend more time at the ReSet lounge in the future
