YDM is open 24 hours, it has 1, 3, 6 and 12 month membership options so you're not locked in for a year with no other options. It's not a large place but it has the equipment I need to get to my goals. It's a gym set up for personal training, that is probably 75% of the business they do there if I had to guess. If a trainer is what you're looking for I would totally recommend you to stop in and talk the owner Tom. If you're looking to be on your own and you just want a gym this is not a bad choice but its not as glamorous as a chain gym. It all comes down to the amenities you are looking for in a gym. If anything, there may be two or three other people. It's rare. Everyone is friendly but they also give you space while working out. The equipment is kept up on - new machines are brought in every once in a while. One room is a lifting/weight area, the second room is cardio & cable machines, then the third room is free form & yoga. There is enough stuff to do without waiting for others to finish or move to another pierce of equipment. There are plenty of fans and TVs to use as well. There is also satellite radio that you can control in each room if you forget your headphones. I don't do this unless I'm in the gym alone lol. Everything is kept clean. The locker room is small and usable, but there aren't any showers or changing rooms. You gotta use the men or women's one stall bathroom. No biggie. Not gonna lie.. I love the vending machines. I'm able to try new healthy snacks or shakes depending on current inventory. Some of it you can't find at GNC unless you get a wholesale amount.. which I don't want if I never tried it. If I forgot my water bottle, water is only $1 from the machine.

Professional, knowledgeable, and insanely motivating. They don't just throw you into a generic workout -- they build a plan around you. I've seen massive improvements in my strength, mobility, and energy since joining. Special shoutout to [Trainer Name, if applicable] for pushing me further than I thought possible and actually making it fun. Also worth mentioning: the facility is always spotless, the vibe is focused but welcoming, and the community of members is super encouraging. No egos, no intimidation -- just results. Miracle Performance is a smaller fitness studio that takes a more personal approach to well-being, while also offering alternative options that promote recovery and enhance performance. As a runner, I have periodically suffered from joint pain and patellar tendinosis, which severely limits my ability and causes unbearable pain. So, after searching online, I was happy to find that they offered cryotherapy sessions for only $20. Having read about the benefits of cryotherapy, especially its use among professional athletes, I figured it could 't hurt to try. I walked in and was greeted by one of the trainers, at which point I requested a cryo session. He directed me to a room with a cryotherapy chamber and several tanks of liquid nitrogen. As part of the safety protocol, he asked that I wear special thermal footwear and gloves in addition to the running shorts that I brought - no shirt! Once inside the chamber, he activated the gas and instructed me to rotate 90 degrees every 15 seconds so that the cold would be equally distributed. After three minutes, it was all over and I stepped out feeling rejuvenated and lively. Despite shivering and being uncomfortable at first, it was a dry cold and actually became tolerable after the first minute. The experience was awesome and the professionalism and knowledge of the trainer was superb! I have since been back several times and will continue to frequent this establishment in the future. So, the next time someone tells you to chill out, head over to Miracle Performance!

Then you come to point where motivating yourself just isn't cutting it, and that's when I signed up for a 1 week trial at Cleveland Fitness Bootcamp. Speaking with Nate, he described that they're not exactly a "bootcamp" (the ones where it makes you feel like you're trying out for football) but more of a group personal training. What I LOVE about their format is you exercise in short bursts followed by short rests and you just repeat the sets over and over, while moving to different stations and exercises. I felt I really got the most of each exercise instead of them pushing you until you pass out and can't do anymore like other bootcamps. For those of you that get BORED with working out, you've GOT TO try this out. With the music and group setting, the hour is over before you know it and you got an awesome workout. Todd runs this place like a well oiled machine without creating a cold environment. It's located on the second floor of the building, up the stairs and on the left (across from the water fountain). Just follow the sounds of music and laughter. COMMUNITY Everyone at this place is so damn friendly! My very first visit here an older lady with beautiful white hair (another member) told me exactly what I would need for the class and welcomed me personally. Every time you enter you're greeted (by name if Todd is behind the desk). They even hosted a community happy hour last week, providing food and drink tickets to everyone who went. I met so many new people who attended classes at different times so it was great! VARIETY No matter what you are into they have a class at a time that works for you: Barre, Spin, Bootcamp, Weightlifting, Circuit Training, Yoga, etc. My personal favorite is the REVOLUTION class, which combines spin and bootcamp, it is not for the weak lol. Beth and Todd usually teach this class and it is challenging every time. You typically need 3 sets of weights (light, medium and heavy) and you'll do as instructed in the allotted time before hopping on and off the bike for sprints and climbs . INSTRUCTORS When you enter you'll see some lovely new photos of every instructor. Todd is my favorite with Halley (yoga) a close second (her goose is very soothing). I love that they are all diverse, with unique styles and all have great playlists to push you through class. ENVIRONMENT The space is very well lit and I love the spin room with the LED lighting. With fresh paint and their recent rebranding, the place looks awesome. The large room they use for Circuit Training and Yoga holds assault bikes, row machines and a variety of dumbbells. They even have awesome merch, I'm interested in getting a shirt next time I go. Lockers, towels, hair ties, mints and ear plugs are always provided / available. Energy drinks are available for purchase. If you're looking for a new gym give this place a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Come ready to work cuz you'll definitely be a sweaty mess when you leave. ‍

This place may be one of the best places to do it because you can get your first class free, how amazing is that? I have never been to a spin class and I was lowkey terrified. My goals were as follows: 1. Don't fall off the bike and 2. Don't stop pedaling until told to stop. Right from the start of just walking into this place everyone there was very friendly and accommodating. They relieved me of my nerves, answered all of my questions, and helped me set up my bike to my height and strap my feet in. I rented shoes for $2 because of the aforementioned, possibly irrational, fear of falling off of the bike. Kaitlin was our instructor and she was great, very energetic and encouraging. She also showed variations to some of the movements for those who were less experienced with spin classes (because let me tell you the getting up and sitting down movements are a lot harder than they look when you do them while pedaling) which I really appreciated. I was happy that the class also incorporated arm exercises and wasn't just leg focused. Did this class kick my butt? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. If you want to try a spin class - definitely come here. If you don't want to try a spin class but looking for something else? They have a number of different classes that all look fantastic - check out their website!
