I'm reviewing this based on what this facility is meant to be -- a low-cost gym. It's small and…read moredoesn't have a lot of equipment, but it's meant to be a more affordable alternative to larger gyms. In that respect, it gets the job done -- and I say that as an experienced gym rat who's very picky. Unlike a lot of gyms, this place has a decent weight selection, including heavy dumbbells and kettlebells. It also has good barbell weights and options for bench pressing, squatting, and deadlifting without having to rely on a stupid Smith machine. They even have a large number of pull-up bars and some really nice plyo boxes. Many low-cost gyms are basically cardio farms filled with machines. This one isn't. It does have its share of resistance and cardio machines, but without sacrificing space for more functional equipment such as free weights, pull-up bars, and sleds. It provides some great bang for the buck.

Most of the staff is very personable and nice, but the manager there currently has ZERO personality. He cannot even say hello to patrons, and is VERY dismissive and down-right rude. He really should not be in this business, as he is not well-suited to deal with the public. For this reason, (as well as the lack of group fitness classes), I have just cancelled my membership. I will be finding another gym in the area to join.
