Well I usually go to the one off of Tyler which is a lot better in my opinion..The Tyler location doesn't need Chuck E Cheese tokens to start up their massage chairs for one..the 2 massage chairs they have at the Chicago location are really cheap and super outdated..the girls that work there are super friendly and nice at both locations though. read more

So I went in on a evening weekend because it's not as busy. This place is disgustingly bad!! First of all it took about 15 minutes for anyone to a knowledge me at the front counter because no one was there. When two workers finally came. I proceeded to ask questions and both were giving different answers. I asked for a tour and they said they didn't have enough coverage and were both sitting there on their phones but I can sign up for a membership now. I said I wanted a tour and they told me to go ahead and look around. I did and it was so dirty and unsanitary. I went back to the front counter and asked if any local gyms have a gym floor or aerobic room. They both looked at me confused and said they didn't know what that is. Unfortunately I have been coming to this gym for 11months. The only positive is the price. The mgmt is a spineless, irrational, delusional guy who doesn't have a clue on running a gym. I like this gym. The layout is wide open, and makes it easy to just move to different stations for a complete workout. There's a good variety of strength and cardio machines. I used to go to 24 Hour Fitness years ago and their machines weren't as functional or comprehensive. I will say the men's bathroom here is pretty gnarly. Cleanliness: 1/10 In need of reassessing the entirety of the gym. The entrance felt warm and as I walked deeper it became humid. The bathrooms are an immediate left once passing the front desk and I could slightly smell a pungent scent of urine. My go-to Planet Fitness has their employees clean every 30 minutes to 1hr inspecting the gym, vacuuming the floor, refilling sanitizing stations, emptying trash cans, attending to the bathrooms. I was in this gym a couple of days ago. During my visit the gym it seemed clean. The employees are helpfull, there was 2 employees here on my visit and they seemed to have a handle on things this evening. I asked for their names, which i was informed was Darren and Avish, both were helpful. The one employee using the machine for cleaning the floors this evening was doing a good job I'd say, but seems to need more practice, just to get used to the power for more control of it. i use the stretching area, which gets used alot, but the space has diminished ( - * ) for us due to extra benches brought into the areas. Maybe one less bench ( relocate) in both corners of the gym would be help with available stretching space. overall things looked okay on this visit. **** good job to the staff this visit read more

We have been to several of the Planet Fitnesses. This one is the worst!! It smells the moment you walk in the door.... Stinky. There was a large man doing the bench press machine grunting loudly and dropping the weights every time.... over and over. Something Planet Fitness prides themselves on not allowing. Let me preface this by saying I'm a fairly new member that signed up just this month. I typically visit in the mornings so I can't speak of the evening crowds/atmosphere. This Planet Fitness (and most others) are heavily focused on cardio, so you'll see a ton of treadmills, ellipticals, and stair climbers. I never have an issue getting a machine here and the equipment all seems to be cleaned regularly. Most patrons are good about grabbing a paper towel and cleaning spray to wipe down the machines when they're done using them. The weight machines and free weights seem to be slightly crowded but nothing too crazy. I haven't had an issue using the weights here and again, they're all cleaned well. I haven't had a chance to use the tanning booth or other member machines yet, so I'm not sure on how well they work. My main issue has been the locker rooms. Thankfully I see staff taking the trash out regularly but that's about where it starts and stops. I frequently see people leaving their equipment out on the two benches available while they're nowhere to be found and lockers are often unlocked but stuffed with someone's clothes/gym bag/etc. The showers are a little stinky in my opinion but the water is hot, so that's nice. My issue the past couple visits have been with people being in there for 20+ minutes, so there's a line of other people waiting to shower. Today, I saw that one of the 4 showers was out of order, and the other 3 were occupied. 2 were being used by homeless people as they stashed their random bags/stuff in one of the changing stalls while they sat in the shower, and the third had been in the shower for easily 15 minutes. I finally gave up and just toweled myself off and left. Overall this is a decent gym for the workout. The staff, equipment, and patrons seem great. I'm hoping to see the staff pay more attention to the bathrooms/locker rooms - in particular, it'd be great to see them clearing out unlocked lockers and enforcing some sort of shower time limit to allow others to shower as well, or install more showers as 4 seems too few for how many people are here consistently. In the meantime, I'll just invest in some good shower wipes so I don't stink if the showers are booked. :) read more

My son and I visited this location on our way to Bible study. You need a back card membership to visit multiple locations. Fortunately we have one. The gym is smaller than Fontana but was still enough to support the crowd. Typical gym they over emphasize the cardio and there is a back log at the weight bench equipment. There was no music playing. It was so quiet which is weird for a gym environment. They should have some music even if not too loud. Staff were friendly in our brief interaction. Ambience is a little dark and again the facility is smaller than what we are used to in Fontana. We'll be back due to convenience on the way to church but will otherwise stick to our home gym. read more

I joined Planet Fitness because it is an affordable place to workout and is conveniently located on my way home from school. I could have worked out on campus for free, but to save time and energy this felt like the smart thing to do. After graduating I decided to cancel my membership (June 2024) and find a place closer to my job to workout at. Canceling the membership was difficult, I had to drive to the location and do it in person. I could not cancel the membership online or over the phone. Two months after canceling I received a $10 charge (August 3rd, 2024), I called the location and spoke with a customer service rep. She advised me that I had made the deadline for cancelation and was not sure why I was charged two months later. The rep spoke with the manager on duty, the manager on duty advised me that I would receive a refund, but it would have to go through the owner and it might take a while. Two months later, I still have not recevied a refund, I have not received an email regarding the refund. However I have received several emails requesting for a review of the location. read more

Been with planet fitness for over a year now and it is more than worth the cost for my more casual workouts at $10/month! Also, the community is amazing, I somehow lost my wallet and it was returned to the front desk so quickly! I didn't even have time to have a panic attack! The front desk people are always friendly no matter what time of day it is (I've been here between 11PM and 4:30am before). Everything is kept clean and there are always supplies to disinfect the machines yourself as well. Highly recommend! read more

I get that you get what you pay for but I went in there last night and it was soooo dirty, I wish they would at least wipe counters in the locker room/bathroom area. There's sweat prints everywhere. While I was working out I went to the 30 minute area and the floor had paper towels and random water bottles on the floor scattered around. This place is sooo unsanitary so you definitely have to bring your own supplies too since they apparently run out of paper towels. Since it's so busy I'm sure that there's a large number of people who don't wipe before and after use of equipment. Gross for sure. They need to hire a custodian. The staff are nice I'm usually greeted and say bye to the women at the desk but I've noticed that when it's guys they seem abit aloof and talk amongst themselves so it feels awkward while exiting. read more

Sitting out in front of this gym @ 7:39, and they are closed. 24/7 is a lie. There are people inside, but they will not unlock the door. Obviously they are not concerned with their members time, and only about the Planet Fitness Corporation. Don't put out fake commercials about how much your members mean to you, if you are just all about the money. Tried to speak to the manager after contact from customer service. Manager didn't want to hear about it, and just told me maybe I should change my home club to a different location. Also I am attaching a picture. When I joined I was looking for the 30 min workout program section that you advertise in your clubs. That area has a sign in front telling members what the section is for. However every time I try to do the program, there are members just sitting on the machines doing multiple sets and not moving with the program. I again approached a front desk person to let them know, and was told there was nothing that they could or would do. It is my humble opinion that this whole club needs to be trained or retrained in customer service. It's nice to get a response from customer service, but if no one from the club is concerned, then you get the impression that nobody really cares. read more

After reading the reviews I was a bit discouraged and signed up with the planet fitness in Moreno Valley when this location is 6 minutes from me. So one day I said screw it let me see for myself and surprisingly it is not as bad as I thought it would be because of the location. It is in a ghetto area but honestly the staff here is pretty chill and from the reviews I read people just LOVE to complain over anything. I really love planet fitness, but today 09/01/2021 @8:30 pm, the kid workers in the front aren't stocking and the gym had NO paper towels to wipe down the machines. When I asked, there was a coworker that was off the clock that was visiting and kept the actual workers from doing their job. When I asked for them to stock, they all stood there acting slow, and was making an excuse for another coworker that was on break. I just asked for them to give me the paper towels so I CAN STOCK IT MYSELF and they handed it to me and still sat there talking. Very unprofessional. They need to hire adults and not kids. read more

Cancelled my membership and still got charged an anual fee (for a year I won't be using their facilities) Some of the female staff is friendly, however most of the young people that work there stand around the front desk chatting it up and offer smug attitudes.
