My last PF was a few days ago across New York in Syracuse, but I'm here now and ready for another workout this afternoon. Easy to check in with my Black Card and find a locker to secure my stuff. The thirty minute circuit worked well with no problems. Two other people there and we managed to work around each other pretty well. After, shower was good for hot water but again with the "no shelf" for my stuff. Big enough and clean (even though I always wear shower shoes) but balancing my shampoo and such on the floor is a pain. Plenty of parking and super easy to find in the shopping center. I have been a customer at Planet Fitness for a while now and just today I went in with my friends and encountered a rude employee. We wanted to ask the lady at the desk a simple question about allowing in an extra guest and if it was possible just for that day but instead of being helpful she was straight up rude. She came off as standoffish and wasn't even willing to help us. We ended up leaving and answering our question our self no thanks to her. read more

Everyone is always very friendly and they keep the place clean. Plenty of cardio machines so no waiting.

This place is a scam.....they tell you one thing and then do exact opposite. Was told no annual membership and then automatically charged $39......told account would be frozen for 3 months while away at school but charged $15 after only one month and they will not give me my money back.....I am at college read more

SCAM! I called in October 2020 to "freeze" my account due to the Covid19 pandemic. I called back two months later, as the cases in our area began to rise, and the gym associate told me that I did NOT need to come in to the gym to sign any cancellation papers. That my account would AUTOMATICALLY cancel if I did not unfreeze it after the two month "freeze period." Five months later...I noticed a monthly charge on my debit card for $23 a month (since January 2021) for a membership fee. (My bad is that I should have been checking my debit card statement more carefully!!! that is my negligence!) On May 27th 2021 I called the gym back and I explained my situation to another associate and said that their gym policy is that you MUST come in to cancel or it automatically starts up to bill you again. Depending on whom you speak, you get different information! The associate I spoke to in May 2021 was miraculously able to close my account over the phone (despite their "gym policy") for me...but told me that more than likely they WOULD NOT refund me any of the months that I was billed from January 2021 to May 2021...in which I DID NOT step foot in the building! They would not refund because I needed to come in to sign the cancellation papers!!! After about 20 minutes of this going round and round....I decided that I would eat the $100 but it is now my mission to talk ANYONE AND EVERYONE out of signing anything with this gym! This business has terrible customer service and they are ridiculously inflexible with their "policy" despite what the world was going through over the course of the last year! They only care about their business and not their customers! Thank you for your patronage....Planet Fitness could give a crap about you! They only want your money! BEWARE! And if you are an existing member....I suggest you check you account that you use to pay this business carefully and quite often! When you speak to them, get the person's name...and any paperwork you sign to cancel...MAKE COPIES and SAVE THEM! read more

Awful customer service. Came in with my friend and needed to use the tanning bed but didn't know how so she came in to show me how to use it. They accused her of trying to tan in it after they told her she couldn't. Rude, immature and unprofessional employees. I once again came in with one guest and I was accused of fraudulent for previous incidents I had no involvement in. They barely answered the questionS I had about the accusations and continued to make me wait for help while they assisted other customers that came in after me. The planet fitness from my hometown was not like this at all. This is the first problem I've as with a planet fitness and it is not worth going to at all. Unacceptable treatment by the employees, just awful. read more

The customer service at the counter is absolutely the worst! I kept getting double charged on the monthly charges, and it took over 4 months for them to get it straightened out. The manager is never there, for any assistance. And the final thing is when I called in to let them know that I was still being over charged, the assistant manager started using profanity and hung up the phone in my face. The most unprofessional group of people I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Save your money and go to a respectable fitness center instead! read more
