The kind of job that shouldn't take longer than about 30 min. I explained that I'm from 1.5 hr away and I'd like to make the drive only once if possible. I asked if they would be able to schedule me an appointment to get the work done. He said I'd have to call back and speak with Jeff the next day. I called back and spoke to Jeff and explained my situation. He said they're really busy and wouldn't be able to get to it today. I asked about next weekend or the weekend after. The second I got it home, and drove it around it broke down.... So I brought it back up there to get it fixed, not only did they charge me but as soon as I got it back home it broke down again in seconds of turning it on.... This happened 4 times, and they have charged me for every fix.... The last time I took it up there it was around August.... I had to harass them months later to see why they haven't called me or updated me on what was going on with my moped..... The owner then tells me it's going to be a 230.00 fix. On a moped!!!!!! Anyways it is now December, and I still haven't gotten my moped back, and still haven't received an update.... I refuse to pay 230.00 for this fix! I haven't been able to ride the thing since I purchased it!!!!!! The whole point of me buying this moped was to get me to work, and I am still walking... 6 months later, and have no clue what is going on! Is it fixed? Can I get it? I hope you all know I am not paying for a almost 300 dollar part for something I have yet to ride! The owner here is very nice, but I feel like I have definitely been taken advantage of! 6 months, and this thing that was supposed to make my life easier has made it a complete nightmare! Didn't even make it home. 1- asked if it was safe, the amount of play in handle bars. Oh yea, you'll be ok. Bolt sheared off holding bars study after 20 mins. Didn't even make it home. 2- fender cutting into side wall of tire. No one bothered to roll ,or cut lip protruding inward. 3- bought a tail light n tag placement combo that says stop on lens. No stop on lens or placement for tag. 4-paid for metallic blue paint job; and got simply dark navy blue. A-you give this guy 5 stars knowing the hassle n broken deadlines. And B- after the bullshit n scams you pulled. .you got the nerve to call me like we're buddies and ask how the ride home went. WTF......Now I've got the bike, $3500 later, and can't even ride it....till I make the proper adjustments. .
