Just creamy enough but not too creamy. Other two members of our party got butter toffee ice cream. Again very creamy not too creamy. Great value three cones large size waffle cones for under $12. The dangerous thing is is that we read they hand pack pints to take home. We wondered if one of their hand packed pints would last all the way to New York. Our favorite place to go for ice cream. In the summer this little place can have a line well out the door but it's worth the wait. We love the cougar tracks and the lemon chiffon but you probably can't go wrong with any of them. There is very little seating available. Probably my favorite local ice cream shop. Very ecstatic staff who are likely to be high schoolers. I love the salted caramel ice cream and I love that they make all of their ice cream in house. I find that the environment here is very enjoyable. They recently in the last couple years added more outdoor seating. This ice cream shop is beautifully stationed next to old mill which sits by the tracks on the outskirts of plainwell. I would travel a good distance for this ice cream. read more

Maybe I had my hopes up too high after reading all of the stellar reviews but the ice-cream was just OK. Was it good? Sure, but so is the ice-cream at the grocery store. Between this and Sherman's (you can get it at Treat Street in kzoo) I'll go Sherman's any day of the week. I'm all about supporting local businesses though so I'll definitely be back.
