I'm not crazy about this Speedway. Its biggest shortcoming is no public bathrooms. Although there…read moreare plenty of gas pumps, getting in and out of this parking lot is kind of crazy, since it's at an oddly-angled intersection, and is sandwiched between two busy roads. Also, the parking lot has too many curb cuts, which makes it even more chaotic. They have a decent selection of snacks and drinks, and appeared to be adequately staffed, but the floor could have used a mopping. Checking out was a bit painful. I have a Speedy Rewards card, and the app on my phone. According to the phone app, I had a free coffee coming to me, but I wasn't sure how to redeem it from my phone, since I'm (gasp!) a smartphone newbie. The cashier who was waiting on me also had trouble figuring it out, and turned to her younger coworker for technical assistance, which he was able to provide, since his register had frozen up. The line backed up ... it was a very awkward checkout experience.

I've been going to Speedway on Phoenix Ave. in Cranston RI for over twenty years. The receipts on…read morethe pumps are always cut off in not allowing any to see the details. The Speedway card never works on the outside pumps. In this respect, one must go in to retrieve a printed receipt as well as present their Speedway card. The personnel are always dumbfounded as to any and all issues relating to the aforementioned problems. Some are quite inefficient and have no experience in customer service or business protocol. The final episode is when I drove to Speedway on Phoenix Ave. to fill up once again. As usual I go inside to pay with my credit card and Speedway card to receive the gas discount. I estimate the amount to fill up as that price is placed on my credit card. When I mention to the attendant or cashier, 'I'll be back in for the receipt' some cashiers say "I can give you the receipt now". I said I do not know how many gallons my vehicle will take so I'll come back in. Adjoined to this is the fact that the receipts are always cut off on the outside pumps not being able to read the details. When I present these issues to the cashier, many seem to be flabbergasted and/or stunned as how to answer. Most cannot even comprehend what terminology was stated to them. On May 6, 2026 I called Speedway customer service to voice a complaint as to the price per gallon I was charged. The sign clearly read $3.32/9 yet I was charged $3.37/9 after presenting my Speedway card inside to the cashier. There was an issue with the pump as the nozzle would not release any gas so I went back in to tell the cashier the problem. She said, 'I turned the pump on'. So, I went back out and the pump still would not release gas from the nozzle. I went back in for the second time as the manager, Jim came out and could not rectify the problem. Jim moved back inside and allegedly reset the pump. I went back out side with him "Third Time" and the pump worked. However, I had to go back inside for the receipt. When I received the receipt. I noticed I did not receive the discounted gas. I then called Speedway customer service stating I have video [Metadata Secured] of the station and sign clearly showing the price inclusive of discount. I spoke with Louis from Speedway customer service via phone as he provided me a reference or complaint number # 2744634. To this 30th day of May 2026 I have never heard from Speedway to address this issue. I nor any of our family members will never enter a Speedway location ever again due to their underhanded tactics in trying to entrap the unsuspecting. * The date of transaction was 5-05-2026 in the amount of $47.75 TID: 54293052592419

There are no markings for Cash vs. Ctedit pricing anywhere. However, once the pump is in the tank, you find out that because you are using a credit card, you are now paying 10 cents more per gallon. It would have been cheaper to go to an honest place next door which advertised the true price. So ... suck it Circle K. Won't ever come here again.

I stopped here Monday afternoon because my work truck was nearly out of diesel fuel, and this place is right off I-295. With its huge parking lot and impressive number of Gulf-branded gasoline pumps (I counted a whopping 16), this place would fit in well in Texas. They also have four diesel pumps, two of which are high-speed pumps for filling trucks more quickly. Inside, the store is equally large, with a Honey Dew Donuts occupying the left side of the store. In addition to a drive-up, the Honey Dew has an indoor counter, as well as some tables for those customers who want to stay-and-sip. There is plenty of room between aisles of merchandise, and the store appeared to be well-stocked with good variety of drinks, snacks and convenience foods. And, it does have a bathroom (which is a requirement to earn a 4-star rating from me), although it is located in the right-front counter of the store, which was a bit counter-intuitive. It's not as fancy as Seasons Corner Market convenience stores (the white floor tiles at Circle K were boring and showed dirt easily), but it covered all the bases. The cashier at Circle K was clean-shaven, polite, and soft-spoken - quite the opposite of the large, rather rowdy group of blue-collar guys seated around a long table at Honey Dew.
