Painting and other maintenance as far as appearance is concerned, has been deferred many years here. For instance, the parking lot is big, but the asphalt is cracked and could use sealcoating. Gas pumps show their age. Inside is equally unspectacular, and time-worn. I didn't see many options as far as coffee is concerned. There is a basic selection of snacks, drinks and convenience store items. One thing they DO have, is a HUGE selection of smoking, ahem, 'paraphernalia,' such as glass pipes and bongs. What elevated them from 2 stars to 3 stars was, quite simply, a kick-ass price for regular unleaded gasoline. I must have driven by at least a dozen gas stations spread over three towns yesterday, and Tiogue Gas was BY FAR the cheapest of ANYONE. It's amazing how much gas prices range. Tiogue Gas was charging $2.21 (not including the 9/10 cent) for regular, whereas most places were around $2.35. And, they were an incredible 28 cents lower than the Shell gas station at the corner of Tiogue Avenue and Hopkins Hill Road, which was selling regular unleaded for $2.49!

Very nice inside, hot ready to go food like pizza,hot dogs, sandwiches etc. They have a nice coffee setup for hot, iced,fraps and shakes. They also offer all your usual convenience store items and there are a decent amount of gas pumps out front. Not the easiest place to pull out of it's like frogger actually but when gas prices are low I'm chancing it. One of the better stores around,I'm always coming back.

My favorite of the three (rated 5 stars) was the one at the corner of New London Turnpike and Arnold Road. My least-favorite among the three was 785 Tiogue Avenue, which I rated at 3 stars. I would rate this one slightly higher, at 3.5 stars if I could, but Yelp does not allow half-star increments when leaving ratings, so it will stay at 3. Anyhow, this store has a different layout, and feels slightly more cramped than the other two stores. The bathroom was reasonably clean, considering the amount of customer traffic. I rated this store slightly higher than the Tiogue Avenue store because the parking lot is larger here. While it's still on Route 3 (Tiogue Avenue and Nooseneck Hill Road are just different sections of Route 3), this store is located on a slightly-less-congested part of Route 3, although the trade-off is that motorists are able to drive much faster, so caution is still required.

On Tiogue Avenue in Coventry, there are many gas stations, and Speedway is among the cheapest for…read moregas locally. But, this often makes finding an open gas pump a challenge. It's in a very busy location (across from Centreville Bank), and trying to turn left out of the bank is a harrowing experience, with people constantly pulling in and out of Speedway. The store itself is okay (there is a high employee turnover, with constant new faces), but its most serious flaw is lack of public restrooms. With Cumberland Farms - which does have bathrooms, and a better selection of food and drink - so close by, it usually makes more sense to go to Cumby's instead. I usually only stop at Speedway for gas, if I'm driving on the same side of the road.

According to a sign, they also slice deli meats to order, although this would probably not be my first choice when I think of deli meats. Inside is reasonably well organized, stocked and clean, although there is nothing glamorous about this place. According to my teenage stepson, it's a good place to buy cans or bottles of soda, as prices there are generally less expensive than a chain convenience store or drugstore. They also have coolers for frozen foods and ice cream snacks. They don't sell my favorite brand of milk, so I don't buy milk here. The parking lot is small, but adequate to support the volume of business; I usually only see one or two vehicles stopped here at any given time (not counting the owner's or employee's car). It's actually a convenient store for this area, since there aren't any other convenience stores in the immediate neighborhood (in other words, within short walking distance). And, I don't mind driving here, because it's easy to pull in and out since traffic on this end of West Warwick Avenue is not that heavy. I'd probably give them 2.5 stars if I could, but I'm going to round my rating down to 2 stars because of one particular annoyance. Their parking lot is at the corner of West Warwick Avenue and a side street. While there is a curb cut at the side street, it is very small and hard to see. Because I don't stop here often, I forget about this quirk, and usually end up driving over the curb when I go to leave via the side street.

There are four pumps and an amply-sized parking lot, and it's in a location that is convenient, yet not too difficult to enter and exit. Gas prices were middle-of-the-road. Inside, the store is small, but does not feel cramped, and it appeared to be reasonably neat, clean and well-stocked. It has a decent variety of drinks, snacks and basic grocery items. The amount of space devoted to smoke shop items - which include cigars, glass pipes, bongs, vaping supplies, etc. - is impressive, and the displays are brightly lit with LED rope lights. Shelves of gum and similar items under the front of the checkout counter are also brightly lit with LED rope lights, giving the store a bright, cheerful atmosphere. And the man behind the register was equally cheerful. They get bonus points for carrying my favorite Arizona drink.

This gas station and convenience store is a good alternative to Cumberland Farms, since it features…read morea Dunkin' Donuts on the left side of the store; you can either go to the Dunkin's drive-up, or, you can go to the small counter inside to get coffee and donuts, and then go to the convenience store counter to buy gas or other drinks and snacks. The employees at this Dunkin' are always friendly. The store - which not only looks clean, but has a nice, clean smell - has two bathrooms, and has a decent assortment of drinks and snacks. It looks like they recently added some frozen food coolers. There's not much parking in front of the store, but they do have a large number of gas pumps. Note that they do charge a higher price if you use a card instead of cash to buy gas (it's not a deal-breaker for me since I almost always use cash to buy gas). Because the store is close to the intersection of Tiogue Avenue and Hopkins Hill Road, pulling out can be somewhat difficult sometimes, but not as bad as pulling out of the Cumberland Farms just up the street on Tiogue Avenue.

The gas station is connected to the wholesale club which makes it convenient. Usually, there are no lines or only a few minute queue to get gas. I've noticed that the gas prices are also the lower compared to other BJ's Gas stations that I go to in Johnston or Seekonk. With the BJ's One Mastercard (no annual credit card fee), I get 10¢ off/gallon at BJ's Gas which is great to have savings on top of savings.

Gas tank/payment places are very user friendly, and I am in and out of there, faster than any other gas station. Having a BJ's membership is worth it, just to use their gas stations!
