This is one of the few remaining older, smaller Cumberland Farms stores around the state. Coventry has three other Cumberland Farms stores that have either been remodeled and modernized, or newly-constructed. It's understandable that this store was never updated, since it sees less traffic than its sister stores. Knotty Oak Road (a/k/a Route 116) is mostly residential and leads to the town of Scituate, which is not heavily populated.
Gas prices here were middle-of-the road: not the cheapest, and not the most expensive I saw while driving around multiple towns today.
It's a small, plain-looking brick store, with a more limited selection of drinks and snacks. Beverage coolers looked like they needed to be restocked. The store is not as organized as newer Cumby's stores, and I don't believe they have a public bathroom (although I forgot to ask).
I was acknowledged as soon as I walked in the store. The two employees behind the counter were helpful: when I had trouble finding a non-king-sized Snickers bar, one of them directed me to the right location.
As I went to pay for my Snickers bar, one of the workers was curious as to why I was taking photos of the outside of the building, so I told them I do gas station surveys.
