Her excitement and passion were evident from the first meeting (and I should note, have not waivered since). After researching the school's philosophy and considering some of our own personal experiences with the Goddard franchise, we made our decision. While waiting for opening day our son attended a different preschool and as kids will do, he picked up some negative behaviors and began saying he did not like school or learning. This was obviously very upsetting for all of us. However, within just a few weeks at Goddard we noticed a huge difference in him. He now loves school and we no longer have morning struggles and tears. He runs into the classroom each morning with excitement. She was able to do 2 digit addition and subtraction mentally in kindergarten. Now she's doing fractions and geometry. For a 3rd grader, she's really ahead of the curve and best of all she is not phased by math. She actually enjoys it and considers it an easy subject. Math Genie has helped build on her math skills making it a strength for her. I love the abacus style of teaching which seems to translate in to mental calculations very smoothly for my child. I also like the instructors she has been placed with, they have been very helpful with showing me the methods of the abacus so that I am no the same page as her. I will definitely be enrolling my son when he goes to Kindergarten as well!

I did however find the classrooms to be small and restrictive for two reasons: age of busy little students and class size number. The classes seem to have about 10-12 students in a very small room all day. Some may think it's intimate I viewed it as suffocating. While I did find some teachers to be nice, I found many to be fake nice. Smile at you but scream at the kids. Mind you the children are 3-5 years old. I believe they use times excessively for this age group, they use write ups excessively for this age group, they do not provide enough activities, and I felt they were always treating black boys harshly when I was around. They have one teacher I believe her name is Mary who was terrible to toddlers screamed at them from drop off to pick up. I stayed and caught marry yelling at my son as soon as she thought I left . Chastising babies as if they understand her logic. I heard her berating children. She also has a bluelivematters sticker (mind you I have never seen a Blue human) in a place with many black children and teachers which to me directly says black lives do not matter. I spoke to the director about the teachers and the use of 10 minute or more time outs on 3 year olds. Terrible way to treat little ppl. Pay more and go somewhere else.

Let me start out by saying that I am not a good standardized test taker by any means. I've…read morestruggled with these tests all my life, constantly performing below what someone of my GPA would expect. From class 1, Steve helped explain the GMAT in an understandable and helpful way. Each week he would ask if he had questions about our homework and never stopped encouraging us to bring him questions. Not only would he explain how he got the correct answer, Steve would try to understand how one of us got it wrong based on our thinking and therefore, correct our process. Steve also didn't rush us through topics that we were struggling with, allowing us to have time to digest the material in class rather than being overly confused when we went to do the homework. Even since the course has ended, Steve has reached out to us a few times offering any help and wishing us luck on the exam. As for the course itself, I thought it was great! Each class was a different topic, which kept it interesting each time we met. I never felt bored. In fact, I would usually look up at the clock and be surprised how much time went by. There is a lot of homework, but it only helps reinforce what you need to know. Over the 6 weeks of the course, it truly became my life outside of work, but it's paying off with the results I've been getting on my practice exams. At first I was a little hesitant spending all this money on a course, but I can honestly say that I'm very glad I did it. It was worth every dollar and I would recommend it to anyone who wanted to take a course that will actually give results.
