The center director is purely money-minded and is only concerned about meeting her sales targets for the month. She was very pushy in getting my husband to sign our daughter up. Before one could begin tutoring lessons, C2 forces you to sign a lengthy contract. We, like many others, were told tutoring hours never expire--a BIG FAT LIE! Buried in the fine print was an expiration date. C2 will say anything to get you to sign your child up. I've heard from a former center director at a different C2 location that tutoring hours were once honored indefinitely despite what the contract actually said, until one day C2's corporate office sent out an email saying an expiration on tutoring hours must be enforced. Completely unethical way of doing business. As for tutoring--it SUCKS! Some tutors are great, but others are god awful. Sessions last 2 hours with 3 students per tutor, leaving my daughter stuck doing bookwork with minimal interaction. She hated it and got nothing out of it. C2 is among the most expensive tutoring options, with some families spending upwards of $20K. For that price, you'd be better off hiring a private tutor for actual one-on-one attention. Don't like C2 and want a refund? Good luck! C2 will ignore calls and emails, drag its feet, and, if you're lucky, refund only a tiny fraction of what you paid. Lastly, beware of fake 5-star reviews on Google. Don't be fooled. After every negative review, there's a sudden burst of suspiciously similar positive ones, often from accounts with just one review. Case in point--after a previous negative review, a wave of glowing reviews suddenly praised "Rob's essay writing." For the real truth about C2, check reviews on Trustpilot (3-star average) and the Better Business Bureau (F rating, unaccredited). Attached are screenshots of a C2 center director job description emphasizing sales over education and Glassdoor/Indeed reviews exposing the reality from employees themselves. A former C2 center director even admitted on Indeed they were 'trained to fool the customer to buy more hours.'

I've been at IES for about 3 years and it really has helped me gain confidence in not only my SAT…read morebut also all test taking in general. The instructors are really nice and friendly; they are truly there to help you. They are all completely understanding and know where to start helping you. Although its a pretty big price for the sat class, I personally feel that it is completely worth it. They come up with their own materials (which are really good - they're structured like the actual test but a little harder to push you) and provide a lot of other materials. In the sat package I paid for, I got a Writing class and a English/Math class, all of which were super helpful. The writing class involved a lot of practice writing and practice analysis. The English and Math classes were well structured; It isn't held like a normal SAT intensive program. There are classes and then there are workshops. Overall, I think it is one of the best preps I've attended.

Considering my own public high school production of M*A*S*H featured Army Surplus Store remnants for costumes and props I shudder to think what Wardlaw's prom may look like... Maybe Justin Timberlake and Beyonce performing live on a levitating platform of pure platinum. Like the bumper sticker says... My other car is a Ferrari. Times they sure have changed. A great show.

My son has been enrolled in W+H since early childhood. These past 5 years have just flown by…read morewatching him thrive and grow. He's challenged, he's nurtured and he's given the tools to succeed. I've watched him accomplish projects with such determination and grit and I've seen him cheer his classmates with the same joy and sense of pride in them. The teachers are simply amazing...I've had the joy of connecting and maintaining strong relationships. They foster so much global awareness and inclusivity. My son has learned about so many different cultures and foods. When I am on campus...I feel like I am home. I am forever grateful to everyone at WH for my son's journey...it really takes a village...I'm fortunate to add to mine each year.
