I am proud to be an alumni of RU. I gained a fine and challenging learning experience during my four years as a college student. A good portion of the courses that I took here (both inside and outside of my major) were really interesting! The health fairs, as well as other events that had free giveaways were fun to attend, and I was really happy to meet new people during my time here. Of course, graduation was my best memory, since it showed how much effort a lot of us put into our coursework in favor of our BA and BS degrees. RU RAH RAH!! ;D

I am grateful to the instructors and the administration for making it a smooth journey to success. Thank you !!! They strive to help there students achieve success and make sure you are prepared enough with your skills for the hands on work. Ms. Jackie - she is one of my favorite teachers and really helped get my foot in healthcare. She takes the time to explain the lecture and makes sure we understood it. Ms. Mary was great! She assisted me in the enrollment process and gave me valuable information about the programs they offered. Angel is awesome! He helped me with any paperwork and organized my payment plans. I moved to a different state and he made sure to mail me my certificates. I chose the PCT program and learned so much in less than 6 months. The hands on experience was FUN and gave me the experience I needed for a real time job. I finished the program February 2020. In march 2020, I was able to land my first healthcare job with the help of this school and their resume templates. I recommend this school to anyone looking to get their foot in healthcare!

This review pertains to the Rutgers Law Library…read more The Rutgers Law library is one best public law libraries in New Jersey. The on site collections and electronic databases allow students and scholars of both history and law to access complete case studies of the federal government and all the states, but also a wealth of scholarship on the history of law in the Unites States as well. Rutgers Newark Law library is also home to the special collections of the Don M. Gottfredson Library of Criminal Justice, which holds some of the finest documents on crime and criminal justice in the world. As a student of American Indian History, I found the library's extensive collections pertaining to Early U.S. Treaties and Laws to be beneficial to my own research, as well as any historian or scholar interested in American Indian History during the Early American Republic. The collections pertaining to Federal Indian Policy in the nineteenth century are even more extensive and equally beneficial. Circulation and Access services is the face to every library, and as a visiting scholar at Rutgers Law I found the staff to be incredibly helpful and welcoming. Stan Sniecikowski and Judith Simms not only made me feel welcome, but were highly knowledgeable of the collections and were eager to assist in my research by all means possible. I've been to a lot of university libraries and it is rare you find such kind individuals, passionate about research and happy to share their knowledge with you. Judith and Stan allowed me to print 61 pages for free because the scanners would not recognize my USB drive. Print copies are typically 10 to 15 cents a page... and that adds up! I am grateful. The building itself is beautiful. The center of the library contains a long and winding spiral staircase that takes you to every floor (although you can of course use the elevator!), and the library is filled with beautiful glass windows that light up the rooms. The Law Library is located inside the Rutgers School of Law, nestled in between the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Business. It's easy to find, not far from the huge parking deck on University Ave. Also worthy of noting, the library is open to the public. You must sign in at the circulation desk, show a photo ID, and wear a badge. Whether you are a visiting scholar, an alumni, or member of the public, I would give access services a call before you arrive to make sure of all the library's policies. Regardless, the Rutgers Newark Law Library is a very pleasurable and stress free environment to visit and do research.

Back in 1972, I was a refugee kid with only a general notion of what it meant to be a lawyer. I…read moreapplied to this school and they changed my life by admitting me. To say that they taught me would be trite, because what they actually did was make me over. They gave me direction and showed me the "how" of analytical thinking, critical evaluation, expository writing and verbal advocacy, while never letting me forget that a lawyer lives to serve others. All at a price I could afford. The level of caring and the scholastic and moral direction they provided me made me who I am today. They have stayed in contact with me through 43 years of practice, and I can look back, compare my career to other practitioners', and say absolutely that the education with which they equipped me was second to none. This school is not a degree factory, for all that it's part of a large public university. It's more of an academy in the classical sense. Take the U.S. News rankings with a grain of salt. A legal education is what you make of it, and this is an excellent place to be from. You will have no problem getting a job or making a career.
