(kindercare Clark is a much better fit) The building itself was kept clean and in order. I did however find the classrooms to be small and restrictive for two reasons: age of busy little students and class size number. The classes seem to have about 10-12 students in a very small room all day. Some may think it's intimate I viewed it as suffocating. While I did find some teachers to be nice, I found many to be fake nice. Smile at you but scream at the kids. Mind you the children are 3-5 years old. I believe they use times excessively for this age group, they use write ups excessively for this age group, they do not provide enough activities, and I felt they were always treating black boys harshly when I was around. They have one teacher I believe her name is Mary who was terrible to toddlers screamed at them from drop off to pick up. I stayed and caught marry yelling at my son as soon as she thought I left . Chastising babies as if they understand her logic. I heard her berating children. She also has a bluelivematters sticker (mind you I have never seen a Blue human) in a place with many black children and teachers which to me directly says black lives do not matter. I spoke to the director about the teachers and the use of 10 minute or more time outs on 3 year olds. Terrible way to treat little ppl. Pay more and go somewhere else.

When we would get a question "wrong" on a test & show him why we answered the way we did from OUR textbooks (and even google!) he would tell us it didn't matter bc that's not what he had in HIS books. This happened every week. He would teach us incorrect information. When it came time to take a test, we were confused. It effected all of our grades. -No scantrons. The teacher grades tests by hand with no consistency. If I answered A & Sarah answered A but only ONE of us got it wrong... we weren't allowed to question it. -The programs are accelerated which means you are responsible for MOST of your own education. We got reviews before each test which helped us pass AIMS tests, but it gets you nowhere with national exams as there's SO MUCH you don't learn during your time at AIMS. Read the chapters. Do what no one's instructing you to do so you know everything. -Keep track of EVERYTHING yourself. This school frequently loses grades, so take a picture of every grade handed back to you. -AIMS accused my entire class of lying about our phlebotomy sticks. They threatened us with having to do the whole module over again. It was a money grab to get us to retake that portion of the program. The girl in my class that got the brunt of the accusations had more volunteers than any of us. I think they focused on her bc she was young & didn't know how to really stand up for herself yet. I've done this before. I went in to see the awful office lady Madhu & said none of us were retaking a single stick without them having solid proof that we lied. There are cameras all over the school. It should be easy for them to prove it, right? The burden of proof lies with them. Not us. Half of us were already nationally certified. We never heard about this again. -If you're on financial aid or a payment plan, keep track of how much you owe. Keep track of your payments. DO NOT LOSE YOUR INITIAL CONTRACT THAT YOU SIGNED. Towards the end of your program they WILL come after you for more money. They will threaten you with not advancing to your internship or being able to take the national exams without paying more. $100 here. $200 there. They even came after one girl for like.. $11. When asked to prove it, THEY CANT. They have no paperwork to show any kind of deficit. When classmates started showing up with their own paperwork, silence. -We signed up & paid for a hybrid course, meaning online and in school. We were in school 90% of our time there. Most days we were the only class there. Our teacher informed us he doesn't like online so that's why we were in the building most of the time. If I'm paying you for a service, I expect to receive that service. I don't care about personal preferences. Some of us signed up for a hybrid course to help with childcare or because it would make our commute to work easier after class. The hybrid course is a lie. You get maybe 2-3 classes at home per month. -When we did have an online class, the next "in school" class was a waste of time. All we did was REDO everything we spent 5 hours doing online. -Class NEVER started on time but ALWAYS ended on time. Which means if you finish a mod early, you still had to sit in class doing NOTHING for hours... even days sometimes. The teacher wouldn't move on or teach anything new. You weren't permitted to leave a minute before 2pm. Some mods were much longer than they needed to be & it was tedious. -Some mods weren't long enough to learn all the material. You were racing through chapters & not learning, but were expected to know it for exams. The whole program needs a refresh with how much time is spent on each subject because students are either panicking & racing through important topics or spending days not learning anything at all. -During enrollment, they tell you that you get to pick your top 3 internship spots off their list & they will do their best to make sure you get into a place where you see a future for yourself. In a specialty you want to excel in. That is also a lie. You get 0 choice. I got lucky & love where I got placed, but many other girls were not as lucky. Many of the places on their approved internship list are the most dysfunctional, understaffed environments that use interns as free labor with no intent to hire you at all. Some of the girls in my class were working ALONE as a brand new, not yet certified MA during their 2nd week there. They were given zero support. There are other things that went wrong during my time there and we tried voicing our concerns, but we got ignored. If they respond to this at all, I'm sure they'll try to discredit what I've said, but I feel like potential students have a right to know how AIMS is poorly run and you pay thousands of dollars for an intricate DIY course.

Honestly, we would…read morehave done it sooner if it weren't for their 45-day policy, and we regret not pushing to pull him out ASAP. The number of issues we had in such a short time was horrendous. My son was in the mobile infant room. First, at the open house, there was no communication about the children's daily schedule, and the overall presentation was unprofessional. The teachers read off a paper and gave us no instructions on drop-off/pick-up routines. Almost daily, my son's lunch dishes were scattered throughout his bags, lost, or we took home another child's materials. We packed lunch and snacks daily. However, my son was continuously fed snacks from the school without my permission, and when I would bring it up I was assured they were not. But at pick up, they would tell me he enjoyed the school snack today. The staff in the room was unprofessional. They were using the iPad for personal searches, the pictures they sent home were blurry or did not always include our child, and they were not warm and friendly to us. The app was never accurate, and we were rarely updated on the amount of food he was eating. If this was brought up, we were told the app was down. But then magically fixed moments later. The communication between the teachers was awful. Their tone towards us and our son was rude, condescending, and it often felt like they did not like him. Because of these attitudes, we did not report the small issues for fear of retaliation against our son. Unfortunately, these are only the small issues, but towards the end, there were issues of neglect. In my son's last week at Lightbridge, he was sent home twice with a diaper that was clearly not changed in a long time. Each time it was about 4 hours in between. They would change him, give him lunch, put him down for a nap, and wait an hour or so after he woke up to change him again. On his last day, he had such a bad rash that he was struggling to walk. Not a single teacher in the room noticed. It is hard to tell if they don't care or are disorganized. However, changing a baby after a nap is common sense. When we called to complain (for the sake of other children), Olive gave us a run-of-the-mill response with no remorse. We highly recommend that you do not send your child here.

I was also impressed by their approach to tackling the bi-lingual aspect and teaching the same curriculum in the morning in English and in the afternoon in Spanish or French, which helps them avoid mixing and confusing the two languages. My son was in the Spanish-English track and picked up so much of the Spanish in such a short period. I love how warm and inviting the space is and how extensive the resources are. It feels like nothing is lacking, and the kids have access to all of what Montessori offers. Atelier de la casa is also makes a point to take the kids to the local playground when weather permits, which was very important to me since I don't want my son to be confined to one space and a backyard for a full day. After reading…read morecertain reviews I was skeptical but with real estate school usually charging more than $400(easily) this establishment has a very uplifting experience to it. Since I've been here there hasn't been a "boring" moment. The instructors read from the text book but also give you REAL LIFE SCENARIOS. I believe the mix of practical and experience is key to any licensee. Remember you are being appointed a position many people would never dare to do because "they are scared" in reality, it's all about understanding the terminology, abiding by the law and understanding what you are allowed and not allowed to do. I have plenty of experience in these mandatory courses and passing a state test. It's not up to them weather you pass or fail, this isn't college, you either WANT this or you don't. You HAVE to spend the time, energy & money to get a state license. When received you will be GREATLY compensated for your efforts. Anyway, the school has been great, instructors are very clear about the end goal and what you need to do in order to achieve success. Weather you are too busy or have too much going on it may be hard, but if you want to acquire a real estate license I would definitely recommend this school. Parking is tough IF you stay close to the strip. The school does a great job laying out a map where you can get the best parking. I park 2 blocks away (Forrest Ave) and I can stay here for a max of 4hours for free. Compared to pumping money every 1hr or 2hrs on the meter. Some people need to be "up front & seen" others like me are focused on making sure my car is not a priority (it's the course) & parked legally with no worries about filling money in a spot that expires every hour or 2. If anything changed upon the schools need to help me gain my real estate license I will update, but by far, this class is not expensive. State exams require you to PAY every time you go into the establishment to acquire your license. If it takes you 1 time or 20 times, YOU are responsible for that, not the course.

We met with various preschools in the area and none felt exactly right until we met with Sumara, one of the owners of the Goddard School of Long Hill. Her excitement and passion were evident from the first meeting (and I should note, have not waivered since). After researching the school's philosophy and considering some of our own personal experiences with the Goddard franchise, we made our decision. While waiting for opening day our son attended a different preschool and as kids will do, he picked up some negative behaviors and began saying he did not like school or learning. This was obviously very upsetting for all of us. However, within just a few weeks at Goddard we noticed a huge difference in him. He now loves school and we no longer have morning struggles and tears. He runs into the classroom each morning with excitement. His teacher is absolutely amazing and having the owners onsite and involved makes a big difference as well. The school is clean and bright and welcoming.
