Rarely, have I witnessed a production so elaborate this side of Broadway. The costumes alone were exquisite and Judging from the logjam of six figure German SUVs lining the parking lot I immediately stopped wondering where such funding could have possibly come from. Considering my own public high school production of M*A*S*H featured Army Surplus Store remnants for costumes and props I shudder to think what Wardlaw's prom may look like... Maybe Justin Timberlake and Beyonce performing live on a levitating platform of pure platinum. Like the bumper sticker says... My other car is a Ferrari. Times they sure have changed. A great show.

My son has been enrolled in W+H since early childhood. These past 5 years have just flown by…read morewatching him thrive and grow. He's challenged, he's nurtured and he's given the tools to succeed. I've watched him accomplish projects with such determination and grit and I've seen him cheer his classmates with the same joy and sense of pride in them. The teachers are simply amazing...I've had the joy of connecting and maintaining strong relationships. They foster so much global awareness and inclusivity. My son has learned about so many different cultures and foods. When I am on campus...I feel like I am home. I am forever grateful to everyone at WH for my son's journey...it really takes a village...I'm fortunate to add to mine each year.

The truth is that instead of finding solutions to problems. Students and staff tend to find other problems to deal with their problems. This school is grossly overpopulated, has bad facilities, bad education, and has a gross community of kids who are entitled to everything. Many of the students are rude and dismissive. Counselors are a joke. Not a thriving environment at all. Culturally insensitive and non inclusive.

This is a nice looking High School in lush grounds on the edge of Edison close to Metuchen. You won't find Metuchen some of the propaganda filled subjects they teach in school but that's another story. It has a nice multicultural student body and a good reputation. It's one of the few high schools in the country I've been to regularly. My friend is a sub teacher and had me come in for a class recently and talk to 15-ish y.o. kids about what I've done with my life. Fun times. I couldn't believe how respectful and friendly and thoughtful they were. I was expecting a rowdy and abusive bunch like the movies. The movies don't always get it right. My friend told me they'd be nice AF to me and they were. I wasn't paid for this of course, just did it as a fun favour for my friend, but I got a lot out of it too. The grounds themselves are really nice and they put on regular shows and fairs and festivals that make it a real hub for the community, which I think is one of the hallmarks of a great High School.

No elevators, if you can not get up the stairs, you go to their library and do your upstairs classes virtually. You also are marked absent for all of those classes that you are virtual. Also you can not even where airpods when doing that, someone will give you some horrible earbuds that don't even work with their horrible chromebook. And that brings me to reason number 2 why they are horrible, their tech. 2. The school literally has spyware on your chromebook so teachers can just stalk what you do all the time. Just a tad bit creepy and unnecessary 3. Paying for Saturday detention. Yep, if you get Saturday detention, you also need to pay 15$ to get in. People get these for small things like not having your shirt tucked in or having your phone out for a second. And if you are spotted with your phone, you lose it for 1 whole day and you need to pay to get the phone back+pay to get into Saturday detention. This school says that we should behave like "catholic adults" yet we are treated like total babies. And anything we do that is slightly wrong boom Saturday detention. Even having facial hair.This school is so strict about everything, except one thing that they really should be strict on 4. Literally the most racist and homophobic school possible. And no one on the staff cares. I am not even joking when I say that a teacher got more mad when someone forgot a belt then when someone shouted a slur. I know it sounds like a lie but I promise it is not. This school is a complete joke 5. Deans are a complete joke. Just randomly walking in the hallway to find anyone to yell at. They don't care if that would make someone late to class. They just wanna have some fun. There is so much opportunity to join something your child is interested in. Whether is be athletics or clubs. My shy child made so many new friends and got involved in clubs.
