Rarely, have I witnessed a production so elaborate this side of Broadway. Considering my own public high school production of M*A*S*H featured Army Surplus Store remnants for costumes and props I shudder to think what Wardlaw's prom may look like... As we head into our 5th year, I am confident to say that we made the right decision. Our main priority was that our kids would be able to speak Spanish confidently and build relationships with the Spanish speaking side of their family that lives abroad. Well, we got that and so much more! The teachers at HudsonWay are irreplaceable. Their Spanish teachers are all native speakers from different countries and they each bring a warmth and special touch unique to their cultures. Their English and Math teachers are top notch. Because of the smaller class sizes, the teachers are able to provide a much more individualized approach to teaching and provide each student with what they need. They are also always available and happy to connect with parents. My kids have really enjoyed the engaging activities, projects and presentations which increase in complexity and rigor each grade level. As a parent, I too have enjoyed them, as we are invited in to see presentations and projects multiple times throughout the year. The community is tight knit and the parent board is very active in providing additional activities and experiences for the students and families. HudsonWay is comprised of families from all different backgrounds and walks of life, but at the same time, there is a common thread that runs through the community which is valuing language and learning. This makes HudsonWay a unique and special place; we are a diverse group in so many ways with a common cause bringing us together. Although my kids are in the Spanish program, they have friends in the Mandarin program as well as they are together for English, Art, Music, Phys Ed and more. Thank you, HudsonWay, for giving my kids the gift of language. It is a gift to our entire family!

We met with various preschools in the area and none felt exactly right until we met with Sumara, one of the owners of the Goddard School of Long Hill. Her excitement and passion were evident from the first meeting (and I should note, have not waivered since). After researching the school's philosophy and considering some of our own personal experiences with the Goddard franchise, we made our decision. While waiting for opening day our son attended a different preschool and as kids will do, he picked up some negative behaviors and began saying he did not like school or learning. This was obviously very upsetting for all of us. However, within just a few weeks at Goddard we noticed a huge difference in him. He now loves school and we no longer have morning struggles and tears. He runs into the classroom each morning with excitement. His teacher is absolutely amazing and having the owners onsite and involved makes a big difference as well. The school is clean and bright and welcoming. We are so glad to be a part of the Goddard family!

The staff of KinderCare took care of my son for a month and a half and they were amazing. I wish I…read morecould afford to put him there full time but I can't My mother was away on vacation during this time period so I had to place him into daycare. I made the best decision coming here not because it's kindercare but because they're amazing people. I was sure my son wouldn't like Director Miguel because he doesn't like men but surely enough my son loved him and everyone. It breaks our hearts that I had to pull him. But grandmas back now so he doesn't need to go to daycare. I stink at remembering names but his teachers were very informative kind and just down right amazing. They updated me throughout the day with photos and diaper notifications. I'm new to the mom world so I was constantly asking them silly questions in the beginning and after a couple of days they made me feel comfortable that my son was in their care. Sure kindercare is a large company but I didn't care about that. I care about whether my son will be in good hands or not and after many interviews with different daycare it was obvious to not go with this location. If you can afford it I would definitely recommend enrolling your child here. They have several different classes for children with many teachers there to care for your child. I've met questionable teachers in the past and NO ONE here made me feel that way. Being a new mom I learned quite a bit from the short period of time I've been here. Kinder care staff, if you happen to read this, THANK YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF JAMESON. I am definitely coming back here whenever my mom goes back on vacation Please note that you are not allowed to post photos of your child with other children (I'm fine with this) so enjoy a few of my son having fun in their care.

The director of the daycare, Miguel Garcia, is beyond unprofessional. Besides that, the center…read moreposes massive safety concerns for the kids. The teachers are great, though. I have nothing bad to say about them. The issues began from the start when I asked Miguel to send me instructions on what to bring and prepare to start daycare. I'm a FTM and I had some questions. After multiple emails and phone calls, Miguel finally sent me a list, which left me scrambling to buy extra things at the last minute. I was concerned about poor communication, but I let it go, hoping it won't be a problem. Then, the bigger issue emerged - children's safety in the daycare. When I was creating an account, I had to create passwords for each person who may pick up our child. I thought that there would be a unique code for each to enter the facility. For the first three days, I just walked in with other parents, which is a concern itself. Anyone can get in the building with no issues. On day four, there was no one to follow, so I tried the password I selected while registering, but it didn't work. I had to call, Ms Jess opened and gave me the code. This code is used by EVERYONE! It means that any person can learn it easily and access the facility, which is a massive security concern. But bear with me; there is more. On Thursday of the second week of daycare, I noticed my daughter had fluid buildup in the crown of her head. I took her to the ER immediately and notified the daycare. In the ER, everyone has been repetitively asking me if she hit her head. I knew she did not hit her head when she was with me (my husband was traveling at that time), but I didn't know anything else. My husband called the daycare, which is a normal thing to do. Miguel instantly said, "Nothing happened." My husband asked to check with teachers just to make sure. Miguel did and confirmed that nothing happened. We relayed this information to the ER team. The CT scan was performed, and no structural damage was found. The ER doctor said that there was no damage, and he didn't know what it was, but there was nothing to be concerned about. The pediatrician whom I took my daughter to right after ED suspected that it could be a rare case of delayed fluid collection after a traumatic birth, which was the case. Miguel called in the evening, and I told him that there was no injury, but the doctors were not sure what it was. I said that our daughter is doing well. Then at 10:30 pm Child Protective Services showed up. To make a long story short, Miguel called and reported child abuse, even knowing that there was no trauma. CPS was surprised because a hospital was obligated to report instances like this, but they never did because there was no trauma. I'm not going to tell you how humiliating and stressful it is. I'm glad our daughter is too little to understand what's going on. Luckily, everyone from CPS we've been dealing with has been extremely pleasant. Miguel not only lied to them when he stated that my husband called angry, accusing a daycare, but he also said that he doesn't have our phone numbers. How don't you have the phone numbers of the parents of a child under your care? My husband has been understanding, saying that Miguel had to cover himself in case something happened to our child. He asked Miguel why he didn't give us at least a heads-up so we knew what to expect. Two days after that, Miguel sent us a message through the app stating that he had to do it. Otherwise, his teacher and he could be fired, and the center could be closed. I leave this information here for everyone to come to their own conclusions. Additional concerns. On the first day at the daycare, Infant rooms A and B were merged after 2:30 p.m. when the Room A teachers left after their shift was over. I found out about this practice after the fact when I came to pick up my daughter. She was in the room with a lot of children and only a few teachers. She cried a lot and looked terrible. The center should disclose this practice in advance. Additionally, I'm concerned that the ratio was not as required. Infants sleep in the same room they play in, which means that the noise and lights are on. My child had a difficult time sleeping in this environment, which the teachers pointed out to me. I saw a child sleeping on the floor a few times during our short time in the daycare. Another thing I didn't realize is that infants don't go outside ever until they're over 12 months. It is not healthy for a child to stay indoors all day long.

This has truly been more than just a school for her--it has been like a second home. The administration is incredibly supportive and always available to help, making the entire experience smooth and reassuring for parents. The teachers are absolutely amazing--caring, patient, and dedicated. My daughter adores them and speaks about them with so much love and excitement. She has grown tremendously, both academically and socially, during her time here. She has made wonderful friends and developed essential social skills that will benefit her for years to come. One of the things I love most about The Learning Experience is the amazing curriculum. She has learned so much--phonics, numbers, community events, philanthropy, and even manners. They incorporate so many fun and engaging activities, such as book fairs, pajama days, pizza parties, dress-up days, and spirit weeks, making learning exciting and enjoyable. On top of all that, as a parent of a child with multiple allergies, I truly appreciate how well they have cared for her. They have always been diligent in ensuring she avoids any allergens, giving me peace of mind that she is in safe hands every day. What sets this center apart is the genuine care and love they show for each child. They don't just teach--they nurture, support, and encourage. I truly appreciate everything they have done for my daughter, and we will always be grateful for the amazing start they have given her. If you're looking for a place where your child will be safe, loved, and given the best early education experience, The Learning Experience - Union is the perfect choice. Thank you to the entire staff for making these years so special!
