It also has a conveniently located family restroom. 4th through 12th has their own section, called "The Basement," which is reserved for them from 3-6 pm. Fortunately, we arrived before then so we could peek in without disturbing them. It looks like a nice space. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lot is smaller and one way, but there is also nearby street parking available.

They were plenty busy due to others having the same issue with needing internet and a place to work on laptops. I want to commend the staff for accommodating the patrons coming in. They kept adding powerstrips and extension cords so people were able to plug in. They were directing them to empty tables and were just awesome. Perfect customer service. Bravo. The staff is always friendly, even on days without storms. I like being able to come here to pick up reserves and to browse. Plus, there's the park!

They have good selection of Clintonville local history, a pretty big teen area. They said the graphic novel selection was the biggest around. The magazines were in good condition and organized well! Who wants to pay $7+ for a magazine when you can sit for a while and read it for free here! The library was clean as were the bathrooms. Parking was plentiful.

They have a really nice section for teens, which was great to see. The meeting room we used was large and well-appointed for large groups. My only complaint isn't against the library itself, but something to note. Given it's location in a strip mall, both upon arrival and leaving (about 4 hours apart), someone was outside smoking cigarettes and it stunk. Super gross and not a great impression for the library.

The Columbus Metropolitan Library provides free b/w print up to a set number of sheets then a minimal cost for addition pages and color printing. I drove out to the Whitehall branch since I had some errands in that area. Plenty of parking and upon walking In went over to the computer area to ask an employee how it was done at this location. After some direction, I logged into my email from one of their computers, sent to the printer, then went over to the printing area. It was as easy as entering my library card number and then hitting print. I was even able to use some scissors at the counter so I could cut down my printing. A very good experience but did have to track down an employee when I first walked in and then again to ask if there were scissors I could use. Everyone was friendly and it was super busy for a Sat morning. I really appreciate they offer this printing service, and this branch is beautiful. Love the design and modern feel.

The leaders do a great job of story time, lap time for the babies, songs, and afterwards they bring out this trolley full of fun toys to pay with. The story time typically lasts about 20 min and then play time can last for about 40 minutes . It's a great way to get out of the house, introduce the children to the public library, meet others and just have a great time. I love that the Delaware libraries have board games that one can borrow for up to 2 weeks. There is a really cool fish tank in the lobby area. They have used and donated books that you can purchase and the money goes towards keeping the library going and other special programs. Everybody that we have come in contact with have been pleasant, helpful and very courteous. Thanks and keep up the good work!!

There aren't actually more books, reflecting the way libraries are used nowadays. Most people use them for work, studying, and picking up reserves. I miss the days when people browsed huge stacks, but even I don't go as often and don't spend as much time when I do. Still, this is a great place to relax and read, do research, etc. Staff are great. It's on a busy corner right off the highway, unusual for a library and quite handy. There's a big parking lot, which surprised me. The building is beautiful inside and out. There are nice touches inside like a big touchscreen where you can look up events, etc. Plenty of computer stations, and a big meeting room. When I went there was still confetti outside from the opening the previous day; Sweetie and Baby K. went to the opening and said it was fun.\ Columbus is lucky to have a great library system, one of the best in the nation. There are so many branches that there is surely one near you, and they are building and renovating them so it will probably be a very cool place. Check out your local library, and even if you just reserve books or get e-books, read whenever you can. It's fun, and educational, and good for the country.
