November 11, 2025…read more First of all, a great 2025 Veteran Day to all. November 11, 1918 the eleventh hour Military time 1100 so eleven oh clock a.m. the treaty was signed, it ended the violence at that time. To all that served, to all those that are still serving, thank you! I represent USA Navy, but other branches are just as important! When the Military songs are played, yes I stood for Anchors Away for USA Navy! Update now one thousand three hundred eighty of any comments! After the Veteran Day 2025 parade, I went into Baked And Brewed. Cost $9.60 with tax instead $10.78 with tax because I pay cash instead using Crediting Cards! From there, went to an area that by way of Auburn State Theater is showing The Great Escape! The theater still being repaired, still being renovated! Therefore this movie sponsored by Auburn State Theater is being shown at this other location! Yes it is still sponsored by Auburn State Theater! Free popcorn other refreshments are a small cost! Many people did show up for this movie! Best of luck to this Auburn State Theater! My previous of this comment for Auburn State Theater has total thirty one USEFUL, FUNNY, COOL votes! Best of luck to the theater, to the employees, to the volunteers of this wonderful theater in town Auburn, California, that is Placer County! It will be nice when all the repairs and all the renovations are finished!

The Auburn State Theatre is such a treasure…read more Built in 1930, the historic venue is a modification of its original version. Gone is the balcony seating and additional screens from decades before. It is now a singular 350-seat non-profit theatre run by friendly volunteers. As I write this, the theatre is temporarily closed for some needed repairs and restoration work. I seriously cannot wait until it reopens, as I come here pretty regularly with friends to enjoy the adventure documentaries that this theatre prominently features. The State Theatre is always super clean, the seats are comfortable, and there truly isn't a bad view of the screen anywhere you sit. Plus, the volunteers make really good popcorn and serve local beer and wine at reasonable prices - all to benefit this fantastic historic theater. I've seen several inspiring films here, but a recent screening of "Buried: The 1982 Alpine Meadows Avalanche" was particularly moving for me as it was also followed by a Q&A with not only the filmmaker but also a few key people from the documentary. I really look forward to seeing more amazing films at this historic theatre and encourage everyone to check them out when they reopen!

Everyone in the reviews for this place is saying it, and it is absolutely true. The food is very…read moregood. It's easy to overlook those words: "very good", But do not gloss over them. Everything that my friends and I ordered was VERY GOOD. We all ordered a different type of fry on the side and they were all VERY GOOD. This is the kind of place where every thing on the menu is VERY GOOD. It is definitely not the healthiest place you could eat at because their focus is on the food being VERY GOOD. Nevertheless, even the healthy options like the mushroom ciabatta sandwich and the zucchini fries were VERY GOOD. Toasted to a perfect crisp, buttery, freaking delicious. The restaurant itself has a local charm. The ambiance is dictated by what the locals need, not the city people coming in to rent a lake house for the weekend (myself, my boyfriend, and his tech friends). It's refreshing to be somewhere that feels more like a genuine small town tavern than a flashy restaurant that covers itself in flowers and sculptures to be a photoshoot op for you and your girlfriends. (I have done this, no shame, so fun, see son and garden review). I wish I could go here over and over and try every menu. seriously, SO GOOD.

Lunch yesterday after golf was good. I had the Bacon,…read moreavocado burger with a green salad & per usual blue cheese dressing. About noon when we arrived & the hostess had a couple tables reserved but sat us in front section closest to the sidewalk. Service was quick and I had a frosty Knee Deep Breaking Bud draft delivered stat! Extensive food and drink menu. Burgers were cooked med as requested quality meat,so tall with all the fixings a fork was required & probably half a ripe avo made this a full meal. Salad was a good starter with arugula & a mixture of course cut veggies with extra blue cheese dressing brought pronto. Fourth visit & only suggestion would be to upgrade the heavy worm, somewhat greasy floor (especially in the entrance). Popular place with live music & some really good house made potato chips , french dip, mushroom & regular cheese burges consumed by my fellow golfer's at the table. Will be back.

My daughter and I love Pamelot Dance! We live in Rocklin and have tried at least four dance studios…read morein the Rocklin/Roseville area and were not very happy with what they offered or found them to be just way too strict or formal for young children. We feel that dancing for young children should be fun and creative and that teachers should be child friendly, fun and keep the instruction age appropriate. We found Pamelot almost a year ago and immediately loved it and could instantly feel the difference from other studios. The atmosphere is so relaxed and the owners are so kind and personable and are genuinely just really nice people who care about their students and parents and welcome and ask for parent input in regards to their programs. The teachers are wonderful, fun, energetic and are very good with children. The facility and dance studios are clean and every room has a viewing window with plenty of seating for parents to wait and watch their children dance. This is very important to me as a parent and something other studios do not offer in all rooms. They also regularly invite parents into the room to watch the children perform something they have learned. They even have a lounge room with tv and activities for siblings to wait in while their siblings dance. This makes waiting so much more relaxing for us parents. We love everything they offer including the month long summer camps and find that making the drive from Rocklin to Auburn is so worth it for us. Thank you Pamelot for offering such a wonderful family atmosphere, fabulous instruction and an amazing experience for girls and boys! You rock! :-)
