We come here every year to celebrate three birthdays. Staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. Very unique and delicious Chinese dishes. Very large sushi menu to order from. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I went here with the wife and her sister after a 5.5 mile hike. I was impressed. The mapo tofu was good and the sushi tasted fresh. I had the dynamite roll, California roll and hotate nigiri. All good.

This place is a true hidden gem. I stumbled across them looking for a new place to try and boy am i glad I did. We had a truly amazing experience. Food was top notch. Sat on their patio and enjoyed beautiful weather. Excellent staff who were on top of everything. My new favorite restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. Very flavorful. My fiancé had the spicy chili beef and I had the black pepper garlic beef. Their beef was quality. Not chewy at all. Beyond excellent tuna roll as well. Super fresh. Their pork potstickers were also delicious. The decor inside was very nice and boy was the place super clean. A definite must try. This place is a true hidden gem. We confirmed with some of the employees that the restaurant was under new ownership. We noticed that a group of employees were training and working on a new P.O.S. system. The waiter that took our order was fumbling through taking our order on their new ipad system, which was ok and understandable as they were implementing some new technology into the restaurant. The good news was the food was still as good as it was under the previous owner. I was glad to find that the food hasn't changed. It seemed like the menu was the same, I plan to go back soon to see if anything new has been added to the menu after the new ownership has been running for a few months now.

Of course, my other family members like American style Chinese food, they can always find something really good to eat there as well.Every dish was so good, every time wish I could order all of those cuisines at one meal:) Recently, we've been stuck on Chef's shrimp and BoBo Beef, can not get off 'em. Haha..they are so delicious...Of course shrimp fried rice is a "must have side dish" to us. The staff are very friendly and very nice too.

To clear things up about their dining area, they have 2 small tables outside and 1 small and 2 big tables inside. Small tables - 2 chairs. Big tables - 4 chairs. On weekdays, you don't need to make a reservation. On the weekends due to their limited dine in area, I would recommend a reservation to be safe. You can make a reservation through Google/Yelp or phone call. Parking is easy since it's in a strip mall. There is also a 3% charge if you use plastic. Just a note, I tried looking at their food pictures on their website, but it kind of runs slow. Sometimes it would freeze. I think they need to fix it. I would return here to try other items. I would highly recommend ordering off their Malaysian menu instead of the miscellaneous. Don't order orange chicken or General Tao's chicken. Very cringe because you can get that literally anywhere. Get the Malaysian food because it's hard to find in Illinois. The owner is very sweet and the service is attentive. We ordered lor bak, nasi lemak, Hainanese chicken rice, hokkien mee, and kuih talam. Just a FYI, the portions are very generous. For 2 people, I would recommend ordering 2 dishes. Prices are reasonable for what you get. A pot of tea is $6. -lor bak 5 - I highly recommend this appetizer. It has crispy pork sausage with shrimp fritters, beancurd, and cucumber. It comes with two sauces. Everything was delicious. -nasi lemak 5 - I love the chicken rendang. The meat is very tender and it has a deep flavor. You can taste the spices that went into it. -Hainanese chicken rice 3.5 - I gave Penang Malaysian Cuisine a 4 because the rice was delicious. HD's version, the rice was not as moist and flavorful. The chicken was not bad, it's about the same as Penang's. It could be a bit more succulent without the sauces. -hokkien mee 4 - this won't be as tasty as in Malaysia. I liked the big pieces of shrimp, an adequate amount of sliced pork and hard boiled egg. The broth is still very good. If it's your first time having this, I still recommend it. -kuih talam 5 - I would suggest this if you like pandan. It's not sweet. It has a soft and bouncy texture.

The place has in big white letters on their window "All you can eat sushi" and I've been there for such a few times. Figured on a random Wednesday night it'd be fun to go grab such. So myself and four others got there, the place was nearly empty (only one other table seated), we sat down. Waitress hands us the non-AYCE menus, which were used to them doing on previous visits and we just will tell them we're doing AYCE when they ask what we want. She takes our drink orders, comes back with the drinks, and then asks us what we want to order. This is where things take a turn. She tells us they won't do AYCE because their sushi bar is short staffed. It's an empty restaurant. We ask if we can order sushi in general, and that's apparently okay for us to pay full à la carte pricing for the same short staffed sushi bar. We'd already been served drinks... we had to pay $17 for 5 fountain drinks to be told they didn't have what we came for. We ended up leaving and going to a different restaurant. This all could've been solved if they'd just put a sign on the door, or told us when seating us that they weren't doing all you can eat for the night. It was especially annoying that I raved to 3 of the 4 others in our party how good the food was and they drove the longest distances to be there just for this to happen and we ended up driving to the other restaurant back closer to where they all live. The food may have been good on previous visits but the service tonight was not customer friendly at all and I finally understand why despite how good their food is the place has been nearly empty every time I've gone there.
