Which could be construed as a license to bill. Not at all. Turned out to be a pin coil. They spent like one labor hour figuring out what it was. We had to order the part from Tennessee. They helped us. Even going so far as to communicate with the Triumph people in Tennessee to facilitate the process. They were 100% professional in clearing any charges with us before they went ahead. AND their estimate was right on target- to the penny. Moreover, everyone we talked to were super polite and friendly, especially Cameron, with whom we dealt with most of the time, who coordinated everything for us, and who could not have been more helpful. Because we planned to sell the bike, I asked them for an assessment and to provide a statement describing what condition the bike was in. They made sure to include an assessment of the bike's condition (excellent) on the invoice for us. We could not be more pleased with their service. I was able to roll it into McDonald's on Russ Ave and did a quick search for a mechanic available in the evening. Nathan to the rescue! He talked me through what might be wrong and I had my car towed to his shop. It ended up being a fairly simple job of replacing ignition coils, sparkplugs, and the valve cover. He also adapted a hose piece himself that saved me $200. He explained everything to me, sent me pictures, and was affordable. He even had my car dropped off since I live close to the shop. Car is running better than before. Highly recommend his shop, Nathan is a skilled mechanic and all around good human being.

Wasn't sure if I was going to need a tow or not but but after contacting Nathan, he was on standby and ready to come with a tow or be ready to work on my vehicle when I arrived!! Fortunately, turned out to be a fluke problem and I was able to get it back to his shop without having it towed. Nathan worked on my vehicle for about an hour or so and ran all kinds of tests to ensure my drive back out west should run smoothly. I don't want to post the minimal cost he requested, but I'll say that he was paid double than what he stated and I would've even paid more had I been in a better financial position too!! I can only say that I wish I had an honest & knowledgeable mechanic where I lived cause I'd never go elsewhere!! Nathan's Auto Repair shop is better than 5stars!! I'd like to also add that this was on a Saturday afternoon, & dropped off at 5:30pm!! There aren't any other repair shops available on a Saturday afternoon, I might add!! With less than a week to leave for home, our insurance company and a (unnamed) national body shop was less than worthless. So we looked around for a local body shop, and found Cran Auto Body. Mark came through quickly with a very reasonable estimate, was incredibly reassuring and explained the whole process to me. Even pointed out things he could reuse and did not need to buy. Super honest guy! The insurance company actually agreed with his full estimate! He got us on the road with a new bumper and hitch in no time, and we got home safe and sound. Very high quality work, factory OEM parts and everything. I hope to never have to use him again, but if any of you need that level of work, Crain's is the way to go. Also, a PSA. Always buy local, never go to the Walmarts of the world if you need quality work. Unless you need a whole lot of toilet paper in a hurry. In that case, go to Walmart. Though if you are in that kind of situation you perhaps need to rethink your life choices. Otherwise, buy local, spend local. You won't regret it.
