Owner of the restaurant stops by at every table to ensure everything is good and asks for feed back. I told him I didn't like my food (clean plate) and I can tell he didn't get what I meant. I said it's the other way around and he got a good laugh. Minimal decors. Spacious, airy, booth and regular tables available. Live Karaoke soon. Yay!! More clientele to come. Separate washroom with a lil bit of confusing sign. Have to look twice to make sure you're going in the right one. There were 4 of us in the group. These are the food that we ordered : Breakfast Sammy (CAD$15.99) - the sandwich is good except for the home fries. After it got cold, it became tough. Fettuccine Alfredo (CAD$15.99) - it comes with a soup or salad. Additional CAD$4 if you add Shrimp or Chicken. Pasta was Al Dente and the sauce is on point. Food was devoured. Deluxe Happy Belly Burger (CAD$16.99) - the beef patties are thick, well cooked and tasty. Optional add ons with additional fee like onions or mushroom. The name is aptly. French Toast (CAD$13.99) - it was okay. I have tasted better. I was in awe with the amount of bacon that came with it. It was a lot. I was expecting to get a few pieces. That made up the whole meal. We left the restaurant with Happy Belly and Satisfied. For sure we will come back when we find ourselves lost in the area.

The restaurant has distinctly diner vibes, and appeared possibly associated with the Travel Lodge that was structurally adjacent. Joane (?...she did say it was with a single "n") was our very gracious server. Two of us ordered the cheese burger and the 4-cheese creamy penne, respectively; both were tasty and satisfying, done well as "diner" selections. The remaining two of our party opted to do "midday breakfast" instead and ordered the Grand Platter to share...which came with a big side of "entertainment" value as it was unexpectedly served on a Lazy Susan - 4 each of bacon, ham, sausages, and eggs, 1 pancake, toast, and potatoes! Can definitely feed two if not three. Would certainly dine again here if ever coming back out to this somewhat remote destination in Alberta.

My family and I stopped here for lunch on our way to see the hoodoos in Drumheller Alberta. Cute…read morelittle spot, definitely has character. The building is from 1913 and there's old photos and knick knacks everywhere on the walls. The place was packed when we got there so we just ate outside. They have picnic tables with umbrellas which was actually really nice after being in the car for so long. Got the chicken fingers and fries, honestly so good. The fries were seasoned nicely and they give you a lot of food. The staff were really friendly and good with our kids too. The only thing I'd say is if your kids have a lot of energy, sit outside if you can. Inside is small and there's breakable stuff all over the walls so outside just gives them more space to be kids without you stressing. Overall a really good stop if you're driving through Drumheller, food's good and it works for kids and adults.

Instead, after 40 minutes, the wait staff came out and told us and several other groups waiting that they were no longer able to serve us. So after a 15 minute drive out of Drumheller, a 40 minute wait, and we end up driving back to town with 3 hungry and tired kids. Never in my life has that happened. Worst service ever. Honestly this place is a tourist trap. Plenty of good restaurants right in town. If you want to risk it and lose 1.5 hours of your life, go ahead. But they are next level terrible. Go elsewhere!
