Called PJP after hours for the purpose of leaving a message of what I needed to have done and for a return phone call. I was surprised when someone answered the phone. I'm not sure who I was speaking to bc he answered the phone "PJP." He seemed somewhat receptive to speaking with me so I told him why I was calling. He listened, and then told me to text him with my information and he would get back to me the following day. I never heard from PJP again. It seems their specialty is cleaning out dryer vents which he just kind of threw on to my list of things I needed to have done without asking me. When I stated I didn't ask for that service, he seemed to lose interest and rushed me off the phone. Needless to say, I'm unable to rate PJP on the work that they do since we never got that far, so I'm rating them on poor customer service. read more

Very prompt, very professional. They were quick to get to my project, even though it was a small job, and communicated with me on what the problem was and how to solve it. Sometimes it's hard to find someone when it's not a big job, so I really appreciated it that they showed me the same care as if I'd had a more expensive repair. I was hopeful after reading all the positive reviews about this company. I sent him photos of the job I needed. I needed a small area of siding replaced up by my attic. Cats were getting in to my attic. He replied by saying my Soffet siding was too hard to work with, that Hardy Board was better. He said my siding is plastic and CHEAP. Nice to be insulted!! The CHEAP SIDING has been on my home since 1980. Still looks new and has survived hail, rain,dirt,etc. It looks really good actually. So I texted back and said ok we can use the Hardy Board if you prefer. It's an area that won't be noticeable if it doesn't match exactly. No reply back No phone call. I waited a few days as I'm sure he's busy. I texted him again and asked are you not interested in the job?His answer was NO!! NOT I'm SORRY or let me recommended someone to you. I was also looking for someone to put up a new fence ,2 gates and 1, 000 sq.ft.of flooring. He does all those jobs so it says on his web site. I let him know I needed all those jobs done but he just brushed me off and sent me sites to other people. Guess he doesn't need the work.I would not recommend him due to his attitude, non response to messages in a timely manner and unprofessionalism. Called Paul on a Friday to help me with my deep freezer. It was about 5 miles from my home in storage and I had no pick up. I needed to get it to my home that weekend so he helped get it there! We were wanting to stock our freezer for the covid-19 shelter in place and he help us on a Sunday! He checked the gasket for issues. It wouldn't turn on. We had a battery go out in a smoke detector and it was beeping for weeks and driving us crazy. Little thing right....wrong it was on a 25 foot ceiling, not very close to the support wall, and I am afraid of heights so I let that thing beep for weeks hoping it would stop. It didn't. So I called PJP Handyman, he responded within minutes and they came over the next day with a 22 FT ladder. That ladder was a bit to short, but rather than make us wait another few days for a taller ladder he bravely changed it out. I would have passed out and fell, but he did it.
