They were busy & even the grill cook hand delivered my sons steak making sure it was perfect. Gumbo and Bisque was plentiful and you could tell it wasn't based and added to like all the other "homemade" items at places near. I've held back for 3 visits just to make certain the food was consistent and the folks are wonderful. As a LOCAL, you need to make this your first stop AND last because you'll be dreamin' bout it til you get back!! Nothing compares!

We ordered the boudin egg rolls for an appetizer and wow! If you've never tried boudin anything before this is a great start! Apparently, folks drive from all over just to order them. They came with a secret recipe yellowish dipping sauce that had some horseradish and possibly Dijon mustard in it. We loved it and it was a perfect compliment to the egg rolls. For our meals we both ordered po' boy sandwiches. Mine was shrimp, hubs had fish which happened to be snapper. Both came fully loaded with mayo, lettuce, tomato and pickles on fresh French sub roll. And crispy fries for $12.99. The seafood was fresh and you could tell that it was. This place is a bit boring on the inside regarding its decor, but the food we ate was delicious. I'd recommend to anyone and hope to stop by again.

Food was as expected, a notch above the typical fried seafood, fresh and cooked to perfection. Salad and baked potato sides were, well salad and baked potato. Nothing outstanding but no negatives at all. Service was spot on, timely and friendly. Did notice only one refill for tea mentioned on menu, I didn't test that but would have been a little bent if I was charged for excessive refills on tea. It's not much to provide an extra glass particularly when it is priced as the highest profit item on the menu. All in all a nice dinner with the Mrs and leftovers for lunch.

Our meal featured an excellent selection of fried seafood, including plump fried shrimp, flavorful fried oysters, and succulent fried crab claws, all accompanied by a perfectly baked potato and fresh green beans. Every item was prepared to the highest standards--crispy, well-seasoned, and served at the ideal temperature, delivering outstanding taste and quality throughout. The portions were generous, and the overall presentation, as shown in the attached photographs, highlighted the freshness and appeal of the dishes. We were equally pleased with the attentive and friendly service, which contributed to a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend The Lighthouse Restaurant to anyone seeking authentic, fresh Gulf of America seafood in a warm and welcoming setting. We will certainly return on our next visit.

These oysters are raised in my beautiful home state of Alabama and the Alabama coastline consistently produces a full, rich, creamy taste with a light metallic finish and a drop of butter flavor in each oyster. Remember only eating oysters during a month with the letter "r" in the month's name? That is not an issue with Murder Points! Murder Point adheres to the strict time temperature regulations set by the FDA, meaning we consumers, can enjoy these #butterlove oysters year-round. I'm a fan and bought one of their Murder Oyster sweatshirts. I love it! Do know that their merchandise (available on their website) in fact includes oysters in various quantities, oyster shuckers, t-shirts, sweatshirts, glassware, beanies, and baseball caps. As another Yelper noted, these oysters really don't need all the typical oyster accoutrements (horseradish and ketchup mixture, lemon juice, maybe a dash of hot sauce), I like them with a slight squeeze of fresh lemon on a simple saltine. Given the opportunity, don't miss out on a Murder Point oyster!
