Please read before considering AHA…read more Our experience with AHA has been absolutely terrible. Their original work was poorly done, full of mistakes, and Travis has been awful to deal with. You can see in the attached pictures that our crawlspace looks nothing like the work that the company advertises. We've been trying to get the company to fix these issues for 2+ years and they've either been giving us the run-around or ghosting us for that time. The dehumidifiers they used were never designed to control the humidity in a crawlspace, and since they were undersized and overworked, they failed after roughly a year. Since then, the humidity in our crawlspace has been consistently in the 70%-80% range and is sometimes above 90%. The high humidity levels and high variations have led to cracking throughout our home, causing thousands of dollars in damages. High humidity also attracts insects, rodents, and snakes, so now our crawlspace is a mess. The company charged for the "best" option and then did work that was not only substandard but ultimately resulted in an uncontrolled crawlspace with high humidity. And they're warranty? They're warranty isn't worth the paper that it's written on. The warranty has been broken for 2+ years, and yet AHA/Travis refuse to do anything about it. Ultimately, we will have to file a lawsuit against the company for a chance to recover some of the damages that have been done to our home. Maybe AHA has done good work in the past, but our experience has been anything but positive. Travis is quick to mention his "rave" reviews, but if you look closely, you'll find several others with similarly awful experiences. I'm confident that Travis will reply with a bogus response, but he's pretty good at laying down the BS. I hope this serves as a warning to anyone considering AHA in the future. If you want to hear both sides of the story, our BBB complaint will be posted soon, and I'll link up to that in the review.

Called the lady that answered the phone said he would call me. Next day or two did. Said he was in area, he may stop by. Never did. I called THREE times again ( wondering why) and no response. Okay no problem, I'll take my business elsewhere.

My unit died 2 months ago and when i called All Weather Services, no one called me back, so i called another company. The new company told me that it looked like the unit had never been cleaned and serviced and the collective debris had caused the unit to "short out" and damage several parts. The new company had to replace my unit because the cost to repair was prohibitive. I advise against using this company. Also they charged me for a coil replacement which the new company said was not done!

I don't know what is going on with this company but if you are looking for HVAC service, please…read morelook elsewhere. I purchased my home system from them in 2008 for $5300. The problems started shortly after install when I asked them to work on the failing duct-work. One particular duct fell off the boot after becoming waterlogged. The tech refused to come back out because he was afraid of the mold on the duct-work. I had to buy a new duct and put it up myself. Fast forward 9 years. I've been using another company to service the unit. Finally on 7-25-2017 in the heat the AC stopped putting out cold air. I felt there must be a real problem so I called AWS for help. They couldn't come right away and when they did, they came unannounced, so I wasn't home. The tech called and said he made some adjustment so it would not pull so much power and that the compressor was knocking and the condenser fins was stopped up. He cleaned them, called and collected their fee $170. I thought all was well for the moment but the next day no AC. I decided to take a look around so I opened my crawlspace door only to find the very AC Duct I replaced 9 years ago laying on the ground pumping all the cold air into the crawlspace. It had apparently been there for days judging from all the condensation on the insulation. That means the tech never opened the crawlspace door nor checked out the evaporator or anything under the house. I had to trek to HomeDepot and buy a new duct and this time the expensive tools to put it on correctly this time. I called AWS and told them what I discovered but the boss didn't seem too concerned. I asked them to return and check out my repairs. I haven't seen or heard from them.

These windows are much larger than my original ones, supposedly insulated, but IMHO, colder in my house than before. What I'm really surprised about is no one has contacted us from the company to see if we are satisfied, to come out and see if the job was completed to their standards or just to say thanks! The people at WW are very professional and courteous. I had a minor cosmetic issue on the interior trim of one of the windows that was installed and they sent out someone to fix the issue at no charge. I have been told that other more expensive vendors offer higher quality windows which might be even more energy efficient, but the high initial extra cost cannot be justified, since it would take decades to recoup any significant amount of the investment in energy savings. I would recommend WW and I would NOT recommend Champion Windows, as they used high pressure sales tactics in order to get me to sign and pay before WW could come out to give me their estimate. With Champion, I could only afford to replace 3 openings instead of all 7, and they refuse to refund even part of my deposit since I missed their 3 day cancellation deadline. I even filed a complaint with the SC department of consumer affairs, and that prompted a regional manager to reach out to me, but he simply restated what every other rep from their company said, "no refund after 3 days, no exceptions." No work was started, so they did not experience any financial loss, however, I am out a substantial amount that I will never see, yet despite all that, what I paid for all of my windows (not just 3) and including the 30 percent I lost, I am still better off, because I have all of my windows replace and even if I never recoup my investment, I now have gorgeous windows in the front of my house and easy to clean bedroom windows for the first time. If you want decent quality windows at a more reasonable price, I would recommend Window World of the Upstate over any other company!
