A nice neighborhood place that does standard Italian fare: Antipasto, Calzones, Pastas, Salads, Meat, Fish & Poultry dishes...and course many iterations of Pizzas... including Cheese-less pizzas. They are fully staffed and attentive...orders are taken quickly and food comes out piping hot shortly thereafter. Sidewalk, outdoor, indoor seating. The wine list is limited: a Valparaiso, Chianti, and two others. I ordered a Veau Milanese ( veal) and it was perfectly crispy with real, tender veal inside the golden crust. It was accompanied by a perfectly-sized, linguini pasta in red sauce. To my delight, the veal arrived without any sauce to taint the taste...just a slice of lemon. The pasta was passable...it was a bit gummy but still al-dente. It was ok for what it was. As a stand-alone dish, I would have sent it back. I suspect the kitchen just has a huge bowl of the linguini to be used as a side dish. It didn't seem to be made-to-order. Overall, what carried the meal was the veal and very attentive and courteous service. Many stars to the staff for hustling and being super nice and friendly. I skipped dessert and finished with an expresso. The atmosphere was casual during lunch: a variety of business people, some trades people, young tourists. English and French spoken. Pizza is a Global Language!! A neighborhood jewel in the Auteuil district within the 16th. Either Jasmine or Michel-Ange Auteuil Metro stops on line 9. Some street parking. Nice shop district to walk-off the calories after a mea ( Think DT Los Gatos, CA / Los Altos, CA but with more interesting shops & the typical dirty Parisian sidewalks) . Feels like a local Italian place you can enjoy any night of the week. Price wise: 12-17€ for pizzas and pasta, good quality Service was friendly and efficient, something which cannot be said about most Parisian places. It's often busy but they have a heated terrasse outside where you can get a drink before you go in. I've never had a pizza there but the pasta dishes are always copious and hearty (you'll roll out of that place), even if a little under seasoned. Great place to go for comfort food with a warm ambiance. For reference, pasta dishes are between 12-15 euro so consider it reasonably priced. read more

This place always caught my eye when wondering Village D'Auteuil. I finally made it there for dinner on Friday night and it was DELICIOUS. The resto was really cute, and their pizzas were phenomenal (I took the one with olives, artichoke hearts and mushrooms). Yum! The Fromaggi was kinda weird with the gorgonzola, but the Calabrese was the best pizza I have ever had in my life - and I take pizza seriously. Hands down, delicious. Perfect crust, spicy sausage sliced thin like pepperoni, heavenly cheese, and delicious tomatoes. Our waitress was slightly terse. This may have been because our French wasn't up to snuff. Pizzeria Auteuil is packed to the gills to with locals from the 16th - a rare sight in an Arrondissement with a reputation for being "mort" (dead). The restaurant serves Italian food and you'll see a steady stream of people coming in empty-handed and leaving with steaming boxes of take-away pizza. The staff is professional - they are nice enough but don't have time to chat due the quick pace they need to keep. The prices are pretty steep but the food is generally good and the atmosphere is always abuzz. This is a great place to people-watch residents (and fluffy little dogs) of the 16th in their natural habitat. No reservations possible so don't show up at peak times if you can help it. This pizzeria is a little gem in the Auteil area. In a city where everything seems so expensive to an American, this place is fairly cheap. Nice restaurant where trendy young locals gather. Many families go there (you better get there before 12h30 for lunch if you wish to choose your table). A little noisy- if you're a tourist, i recommend you eat earlier as the crowd comes around 8:30 at which point there can be a 40 minute wait, otherwise service was lovely: so enjoyable! read more
