There were some seating outside but it was only the one table for two people. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The only downfall was that they ran out of meat sauce so the lasagna was out of the question but they made up for it in the pizza flavours. The menu is pretty straightforward; they offer multiple types of pizza ranging from classic meat lovers to unique ones like smoked salmon or tandoori chicken. I ended up ordering the four cheese because I was in a cheesy mood. The pizza was amazing. The crust had a nice puff up but was not so crunch that it would cut the roof of your mouth. The sauce-to-dough ratio was perfect, and neither ingredient overpowered the other. The cheeses they used (Ricotta, Feta, Bocconcini and cream cheese) didn't clash with each other, and it just seemed to be a slice of cheesy goodness with every bite. The pizza was not greasy, so no mountain of napkins was needed. A must-try if your into pizza and like my nannu says in Sicilian "Veni e pigghiati 'u divertimentu" (Come and enjoy it already).

We probably made a mistake when ordering 2 large half and half pizzas as this turned out to be a very pricey pizza dinner (over $80!!) but that's not the restaurant's fault. We'll just be more mindful next time. The pizzas were good and I loved the freshness of the toppings. Unfortunately, I did not love their crust as it was too chewy for my liking. The chicken wings we got was pretty heavily breaded which is also not my favorite way to eat them. We may come back to try their more adventurous offerings.

After contacting him three times, I haven't heard from him. Three years ago, I got two sad slices of pizza from this joint. Read my previous review. I basically got dry spinach, and a few dabs of tomatoes and feta on my pizza slices. Not yummy. Three years later, I got a message in my Yelp inbox. It was from Yousaf from Big Brothers Gourmet Pizza. He said that he wanted to make things right by offering a fresh pizza. It sounded too good to be true. It was. I wrote back to ask how I could get a fresh pizza on October 23. Crickets. I followed up on November 23. I still didn't get a response. I gave up and wrote on December 1st, saying that his gesture wasn't genuine. I'm finally writing my follow-up review here. It's one thing to make things right by offering a fresh pizza. It's another thing to ghost me and renege on your offer, which makes you and your business look unprofessional and unpolished. (488)

I saw them taking pizza out of the pans and throwing the pans on the floor where everyone walked around them, kicking them under the oven. They picked the pans off the floor to make more pizza. All of the flavours with the chicken go so well together, it's such a fun and tasty, thick crusted pizza. Definitely my favourite here! The space itself is fairly small with a few 2 seater tables, a large bench which is shared by several guest and a bar table space. The service was super friendly but it did take a bit of time for the food to come out. It is quite a popular place so you could see a lot of people were ordering take out. In terms of the pizza, the dough was fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. We got the Electric Avenue and Truff Guy which were both tasty but to be honest, I wasn't blown away. Maybe my expectation was set a bit high from previous raving reviews. Toppings tasted good but nothing spectacular. It's also a bit on the pricier side considering the size of the pizza. I totally get why it's a Toronto favourite, but I can't say it's my favourite pizza place.

Don't…read morebe fooled by the simple location and the charming, home-drawn logo: the pizzas are unique, with the most flavorful tomato sauce and mozzarella, delightful pepperoni and an assortment of artisan quality toppings. Mark's turns out some of the most flavorful pizzas in Pickering and East Scarborough, and I've tried a lot of pizza! Each week, they have a different feature pizza, and the full size pizzas are similar to a New York style, with the thin, crisp bottom crust surrounded by a heftier, lightly charred edge crust. Full pizzas are ordered in advance on line, but they have Italian sandwiches and pizza slices to go (subject to availability). The slices have a thicker crust than the full pizzas, and look delicious. There is limited seating for eating in, and Mark's mainly does a take-out business. I went on line earlier today, and ordered a 6:00 pick-up. The online order system is efficient and user-friendly. We had a pepperoni pizza as well as this week's special, a meatball and pesto pizza. Both were excellent, and the tomato sauce really stood out. It was garlicy, herbaceous and delightfully savory; quite different from the bland, sweet tomato sauce served up by most of the large chains. The crust was flavorful, and lightly charred to perfection, giving it a slightly smoky flavor. As a crust snob, I was very pleased! The meatball and pesto pizza was really good, with flavorful, juicy mini-meatballs and delightfully garlic-forward pesto. The pesto, made from pumpkin seeds rather than the traditional pine nuts, was so good with bold garlic and basil flavours. The pepperoni pizza was superb, with the cup-and-char, New York style pepperoni. My whole family was delighted!! In short, the pizzas are remarkably flavourful, and their preparation shows time, care, and attention to quality ingredients, as well as a superior crust. It was worth the drive from Pickering, and with the efficiency of Hwy. 2, took only about 15 minutes. Parking is a bit tight, but there is frequent turnover of parking spots. Thanks to Chloe H. at the counter for friendly service with helpful recommendations for me to consider for future orders. And there will certainly be future orders from me!

You can actually taste the quality ingredients. The experience was great overall, too. The team working there was friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Must-Try Tip: Get their Calabrian chili and mix it right into the house ranch. It's an unbelievable combination. Just be careful; the heat sneaks up on you quickly! This place is officially going into our regular order list. Seriously, we think this is the best pizza in Scarborough.

Food: Got a large meat lovers pizza. The amount of toppings is super generous! Particularly enjoyed the spicy Italian sausage! Pepperoni, ground beef and bacon were good too (and tons of it!). The tandoori chicken pieces are probably processed chicken meat but have a nice tandoori seasoning and spice. Again, TONs of toppings on the pizza. Price: Pretty good price for the amount of toppings and pizza. Paid about 30$ for 2 large 4 topping pizzas, 4 cans of pop and 2 dipping sauces.

I generally go 2-3 times a week in fact. (YES, I am one of "those," someone who can't cook; or doesn't want to cook!) The pizza dough is made fresh, they make the sauces, they hand cut the toppings, all of them, meat, veg, tofu. Nothing comes out of a can. Their baked fish is a huge portion, it's marinated at least a day in Indian Spices, and is without a doubt the absolute BEST fish I have ever tasted! And at 64 years of age that is truly saying something. As well, everything is made to order, nothing is sitting around under a heat lamp, so be patient, it is well worth the wait that quality requires. The manager is named Gokul, and he has gone way out of his way to accommodate not just me, but a lot of customers, that I have personally witnessed him do. The dude could teach a master class on customer service! If you try it once, you'll be back.
