This place was FIRE!!! We got the stuffed crust ricotta pizza and it was sooo good. I think the place was small and so cute and perfect to go on a summer date. The service was fine, you just order and wait to pick it up and then you can seat yourself outside. Overall wow what a good place.

Salsiccia

Pizzata Pizzeria in Filter Square, Philadelphia, is a true gem that lives up to its well-deserved positive reputation. Their Salsiccia slice is spectacular--a perfect blend of savory sausage, rich tomato sauce, and gooey (and beautiful) mozzarella atop a crisp but airy crust that is found to be beautiful as well as delicious. I usually prefer thick crust, but this thin crust was authentic and savory. They also offer sandwiches and salads. I went at noon on a weekday and found the service to be quick and attentive While the store itself is on the smaller side, its charm and character add to the experience. The quality of the food more than compensates for the cozy setting, making it clear why this spot has received such glowing reviews. There are only 2 tables in the store, but I still enjoyed the take out experience. I will need to come back to split a full pie with friends.

Got a regular cheese which was basically a Margarita pizza, and it was good! The dough had a sourdough kind of flavor (not sure what they use exactly) which I enjoyed but might not be everyone's favorite. They have slices during the daytime, but by the time we went they were sold out of slices. Overall good pizza spot.

Slice of cheese pizza and salisiccia (I think? I can't bother to keep checking the name but it's good)

A great NY style pizza joint to serve one of the better slices I've had in the city. Place has a good, low key but tasteful decor indoors that I liked as well as outdoor seating. Service was also good and friendly though it was a hot day and I did wish they had some ice water available. Grabbed two slices, one of cheese and the other of a sausage/pepperoni/ricotta specialty pizza with some hot honey. Both were great. Cheesy, good dough, flavorful, not too big or hard to handle. Just really good solid pizza that we all know and love. With a diet coke and some chili flakes, what more could ya want. 5/5 do attend

Since pizzata is in my neighborhood, I decided to give this place a try given they sell some of their pizzas per slice. The space to eat inside was limited but luckily there was enough outdoor seating (and it was a great day to eat outside). The pizza slice came out quickly. The whole slice looked like it had freshly came out of the oven with its char all over the pepperoni. The bottom of the pizza also had charred points all over. The pepperoni tasted delicious on the pizza and I loved how crispy the slice was. The crust was definitely very much thin sliced. There is a trashcan and place to put up your tray outside which was nice since I didn't have to go back inside after I was done.

It's worth the visit just for the dough and the sandwich bread. Really really good pizza in an unassuming place.

We tried multiple pizzas from Pizzata today and they were all so good! We had the cheese, pepperoni, and arugula with prosciutto. The flavor of the sauce was extremely tasty and all of the toppings were extremely fresh! The crust was also perfectly crunchy and held all of the toppings well. The pizzas were picked up, so cannot comment on the inside of the restaurant. We will definitely get more pizza from here again soon!

I ordered a sopressa pizza from Pizzata on national pizza day. It's described as having "Red sauce, EVOO, soppressata, mozzarella, parmesan cheese, arugula". It was delivered to me still hot. It was delicious. The crust is crisp, with little flop. I devoured half of it quickly and saved the other half for tomorrow. But a pizza should not have arugula on it. A different ingredient would have taken it over the top. I'll definitely try more pizza from Pizzata. I was happy with my choice for national pizza day.

Couldn't resist a slice prior to the shot..

For months I wanted to try Pizzata and this evening I finally got the chance. I ordered the plain pie, with garlic knots and was not disappointed. The pizza was cooked perfectly. The ingredients are quality and the dough had a wonderful chewy consistency. I would definitely rank this joint in the top 5 if you're looking for traditional, true NY style pizza in Phila.

Very high quality sourdough pizzas here. The thing that stood out to me were the thoughtful, well crafted specialty pizzas. Highly suggest trying out the sausage/pepperoni/hot honey pizza. Pizarra is a great option for the $20/25 take out price point. Inside is a cute little dining room with a few tables, but most people do takeout here from what I've seen. Super friendly staff. Word to the wise-call in your order and they will have it ready in 15/20 min. Using external apps can be more expensive and takes longer. Give them a try! And try something fun on their very well thought out menu! Highly recommend.

Plain Pie with added artichokes

YUM!!! My wallet and waistline is thankful I didn't try Pizzata sooner! Lol it's hot, fresh, delicious, perfect pizza. My first order was a plain pizza with artichokes added - and it was incredible. I ordered it online on a Wednesday night and it was ready in like 10-15 minutes. The service was quick and friendly. There is seating inside and some outside. Can't wait to try it again!!

Is there outdoor seating? Yelp says so, but there are no pics of it or mentions in the reviews. Thanks!

Yes there are about 4 tables outdoor, and a few high tops indoor :)

And I'm not talking about one great sandwich or a lucky visit. I'm talking about consistency over a long period of time. I've eaten at least 100 cheesesteaks and another 100 pizzas from Angelo's, and I genuinely cannot remember ever getting a poorly made item. That kind of consistency is rare, especially in a city where everyone has an opinion about who makes the best cheesesteak. The bread is phenomenal, the meat is incredibly flavorful, and the whole sandwich comes together exactly how you want it: juicy, delicious, and worth every bite. It doesn't matter if you're picking it up fresh on Ninth Street or ordering delivery through one of the apps. The quality holds up, and that's what separates a great restaurant from a great restaurant on its best day. And the pizza? Some of the best in the city. Period. Philadelphia has no shortage of places making good cheesesteaks and pizza, and I'm always happy to try somewhere new. But when I want the absolute best, Angelo's is my gold standard. Over and over and over again, they deliver. That's why, in my opinion, when it comes to a Philadelphia cheesesteak, there's Angelo's and everybody else.

The dish was delicious. I enjoyed my plate of sea-inspired tonnarelli nero. Bay scallops in crab ragu with fennel sofrito. Served with squid ink pasta that imparted a slight brininess. The pasta was cooked pangrattato style-- coated in panko bread crumbs and garlic. The dish had many flavors but they all came back to the theme. Creamy Oregano Salad: very interesting. small shaves of mushroom and fennel. very slight bitter taste. oddly addictive. the olives were my favorite part. i'd consider these friendly olives to those suspicious of olives. and the olives are cut in halves, so easy to pick out. so are the mushrooms. easy split for a table of four. beyond that i'd get two. *ADD ON* pickled chilies: very good. I suggest adding this to the pie. they are green, spicy, delicious, absolutely lovely. Corn Pizza: all together very delicious. my favorite part are the cherry tomatoes on top, which I would really like to be an add on option to other pies. they are the perfect flavor and size. i'm not particularly a tomato fan, especially whole. these are a rare exception. Classic Pizza?: solid, no notes. good as always. My only wish is that they offered a sauce to dip my crust in. they have very good crust, perfect ration of crispy and fluffy. just needs a sauce.
