well not really a disappointment because i never have high hopes for pizza joints unless it is a hole in the wall that every local or tv star knows about in New York City. anyways; first time having pizzasaurus rex for a dorm dinner at CSUN tonight; we ordered three medium pizzas for about $20 i think...price isnt too bad, pretty competitive with pizza hut, dominos, etc pizza comes in, and smells actually pretty decent; i get a whiff of herbs and garlic. now to take a bite; go for the sausage pizza...the sauce is actually quite decent as well, coming from the scent of the room, the sauce has all the flavor and smell that you would hope for a good pizza to have...then with the bite, the sausage is practically flavroless, just a chunk of meat here and there; the cheese is eh nothing special, the sauce, again, is actually not bad, i like seeing herbs sprinkled on top and actually tasting garlic with each bite; and the crust is just terrible; a dry, cardboard-y like bread with no flavor, no crispiness, no warm steam, soft center, just bad so, all in all, Pizzasaurus Rex is comparable to Pizza Hut, Dominos, little caesars, or any other fast food joint won't be excited to order again, and if we do, won't expect anything special; just a meal to eat for starving college kids on a holiday that closes the campus cafeteria read more

Day 2 and eating the remainder of the pizza! This is also my second time ordering from Pizzasaurus Rex, and I think their pizza is fantastic!!! You can tell a lot about a pizza just by how good it is on the second day. The Fajita pizza is a fabulous combination of pizza and fajita. There's a little of both, and neither seem to overpower the other. There's also seem to use some sort of spice a mix of salt on the crust which flavors it nicely. The tomato sauce is light, the way they add the red peppers and onions is delicate with an understanding that too much overpowers the flavor, and the chicken is juicy and tender. This pizza is a must try! And an excellent leftover meal as well. Their garden salad was fine, not mind blowing, but it was a garden salad, and for that it did the job. I do like the amount of banana peppers they add. Really picks up the flavor, and made me forgo using dressing. Which cuts the sugar and calories. Cool ancillary benefit!! Tried the buffalo wings. The sauce was standard, not over the top. Honestly with their fajita pizza being so great, it would be cool to see them try their own hot wing sauce. I feel like this tasted like the others. Still that doesn't mean I didn't like it. The delivery guy arrived quickly, and was friendly, and even supported my choice noting how good the fajita pizza is. I don't think I've ever seen a delivery guy genuinely excited about what they delivered. I can honestly say that it made for an even better dining experience!!! That was cool. He was right too! We are excited to try the rest of the menu! read more

I've only ever gotten delivery, so I don't know much about the joint itself. Delivery times are normal, usually about 30 minutes. The pizza is quite oily and makes me thirsty like no other, so make sure you've got drinks at hand. It isn't gourmet pizza, but for the price, the pizza is good. I'd rather have Papa Johns, but they don't deliver to my area and also they're more expensive. If you've got friends over craving for some pizza late at night, this place is the best way to go. read more

We unfortunately will not be ordering from here anymore as THE OWNER DOES NOT WANT OUR BUSINESS because a 13 year old CHILD wrote a comment not so appropriate on a receipt. The receipt was in my sons name. HE DID NOT WRITE THE COMMENT and it was written when being delivered to an address OTHER THEN OURS. So remember all the PTA, birthday's and sleepovers that I've ordered and money I've spent to support your business WILL NO LONGER COME YOUR WAY because in your own words "I DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS, RESPECT MEANS MORE TO ME THEN MONEY" WOW my child and myself apologized for a poor choice another CHILD made and no forgiveness. If you are looking for a pick-up or delivery pizza joint, you can't go wrong with Pizzasaurus Rex. They primarily serve the CSUN, Northridge, Granada Hills area. Their pizza's are darn good and very reasonably priced. Good, inexpensive pizza. Take-out & delivery only. No dine-in. Pizzasaurus is a WAAAAY better option over calling up Domiblow's.
