She was incredibly professional, genuinely listened to my requests, and took excellent care of me. In a moment when I was in extreme pain and feeling completely overwhelmed, Kristen made me feel like an actual human being. Her empathy and customer service were a solid 5/5 stars.Unfortunately, the medical care from the actual providers was deeply disappointing. I came in with an acute sports injury after hearing a physical "pop" in my foot, experiencing swelling on the top of my foot, and dealing with severe nerve pain. They took X-rays but didn't bother to sit down, look at them with me, or properly explain a clear diagnosis. Instead, they completely dismissed a severe structural injury as basic plantar fasciitis, handed me some topical gel, and sent me on my way.To make matters worse, they told me it was "normal to work under these conditions"--completely ignoring the fact that my daily job requires heavy pulling, pushing, and lifting of heavy objects. Because they refused to give me an immobilization boot or take the soft-tissue damage seriously, I have spent days favoring my left leg. I have now developed agonizing sciatica from straining my back just trying to hobble around.Kristen White deserves a promotion for her outstanding humanity and professionalism, but the medical providers seriously need to re-evaluate how they dismiss patients with acute traumatic injuries.

I asked ALL of my different doctors (GP, endocrine, bariatric, etc...) and without fail, they all said that Dr. Shalvoy was *THE* guy in Rhode Island, and in TWO cases had performed procedures on the knees of my doctors! Why not go where the professionals go? I presented myself around the same time as Bethany, and yes the walk to the office was hard for a guy who couldn't walk. Dr. Shalvoy is the Chief of Orthopedics for Care New England, and was trying to see patients close to the hospital setting, but as Memorial was closing wings he was getting bounced around. Their subsequent spaces have been much more eye appealing, and 2 years after my replacements I am doing fantastic. I can't say enough about Dr. Shalvoy and his PA Richard Peloquin and Jessica Morse, and the support staff is great. They literally gave me my life back. I went from walker/wheelchair to doing 5K's. Unfortunately, the building layout and access combined with the scheduling experience was a hot mess. A family member had a bone density and office visit here today. However, upon checking in, we found out they had the wrong location for the appointment and test. Both of us took time out of work to come here today and to be turned away. To make matters worse, the garage accessibility is horrendous. You enter into the lot, take the elevator to the ER, walk across the ER to a bridge, enter another building, and take another elevator. Very confusing. To add insult to injury, they now charge for parking. We will no longer be visiting this location.

We've spent our fair share of time on floor two of the 2 Dudley Street building so this review is to provide information about our experience on floor two only - as we have not had to visit any of the other floors for our particular needs. Floor two is VERY busy at every moment of the day and it can be an overwhelming first visit. Here's what you can expect. When you step off the elevators, you will need to line up to the right behind the "wait here to be called" sign in the lobby. From here, one of the receptionists will call you over, check you in for your appointment, take payment, and direct you to which waiting area you should go to (they have three - A, B, and C) DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS DESK WITHOUT GETTING YOUR PARKING GARAGE VOUCHER for the Dudley Street garage - it costs $2 for a flat rate "chaser ticket" (which is a huge savings) and is payable in exact cash only. After checking in with the receptionist at the desk in your assigned waiting room, they will send you to a tech who will remove your cast before sending you to the X-ray desk. You will need to check in here too and hand them the paperwork provided by the person who removed your cast. Both the X-ray techs and the cast techs are friendly and explain exactly what they will be doing before they do any work. They introduce themselves and explain to the kids what noises they may hear and even demonstrated that the saw used to cut the cast will not cut your skin (how does it know the difference? so neat!) You will then be asked to return to the waiting area you were in previously and will wait to see the doctor. Usually this takes just a couple of minutes while they wait for the X-rays to become available. The visits are straightforward and depending on your progress you may or may not have to have the area recast. Casting options are limitless and they have a variety of materials, colors, and enhancements (like glitter) they can add to personalize it for you. If you'd like a waterproof option, tell them ahead of time so they can prepare that for you (the only color option for that is plain white). You will pay out of pocket for the "upgrade" as many insurance plans won't cover the additional expense but it may be worth your while depending on the time of year and length you'll need to wear your cast. You may also choose to buy a sling or other cast aid directly from online or local pharmacy, as many times insurance plans will bill OUTRAGEOUS prices if they have already provided one at a previous visit and you find yourself in need of a replacement.

Dan from the casting team was Super Phenomenal ... He asked me what colors I wanted and I told him I wanted something 4th of July themed. Dan took very special care of molding the cast to my hand so the fit was completely comfortable and I was pain free. I was so happy with the cast design and Dan even added some red and blue sparkles... Nice! A True Artist!! Dan went above and beyond my expectations I am Grateful

My husband had 2 knee procedures performed by Dr. Moss in the outpatient surgical unit here…read more Dr.Moss was responsive, warm, informative, and quite reassuring through the whole diagnosis process. He helped my husband make treatment decisions and was thorough in explaining what to expect day of, and following up. In addition, all of the staff in the facility were prompt, professional, and caring. We were so pleased with the service he received, so when I developed an issue with my hands and my PCO suggested seeing an orthopedic specialist, I called this practice. They were able to access my x-rays directly from RIMI, which I appreciated (no one wants to have to repeat tests). I saw a Fellow, who came in first to examine my hands and diagnose the problem (trigger finger - in both hands - that was causing pain, swelling, and lack of movement). Dr. Gil came in, confirmed the diagnosis - and let me know the treatment (steroid shot), and next line treatment (minor surgical procedure) if the steroid didn't cure the problem. He administered the shots in the exam room that day, letting me know that it might take a few days for reaction to be fully noticeable. Throughout my treatment too, the staff were helpful and offered great service. The Kettle Point facility is brand new, very clean, and a welcoming place to receive service. I'm mystified by the low ratings from others!
