I was told "Oh you're next" several times. I honestly felt like I was on a hidden camera show. Once in the office I waited another hour... for no physical. Only a "Hey how are you, nice to meet you. We are so busy, see the front desk to schedule your physical. I can refill your rx medication so have them fax me your old doctor's prescription!". This cost me $90. Beyond unacceptable. I then scheduled my physical... which was around 6 months. My refill did come up, and it was denied. Apparently I was supposed to go a Dermatologist? Never was told that, never given any information on that. Was told I was called (I would remember, and I see no emails or voicemails as of right now). The receptionist also said "oh we told the pharmacy", which wasn't true. The Pharmacy said it was denied with no reason given. I ended my term as patient (I genuinely feel like I wasn't one so no big loss) and honestly don't know if they cared. The medical assistant gleefully said "We can deactivate you as a patient!" Business must be good so they can treat new patients this way.

Everything they do seem to be the old fashioned way, their check in area is littered with a ton of posted notices (most of which are warnings to patients), and still after being an established patient at each visit they are not prepared and ask me basic info that they've had in their records for at least a couple of years. The main feeling you get is apathy and that they are overworked and understaffed. They have zero proactive reach out and do not do anything to inform me of new treatments and developments.

Were chatting about the zero cancellation notifications. ---- A receptionist of an adjacent doctor's office told us that the office closing on Fridays and patients not being notified is a common occurrence. ---- I called the main office (Providence) but had to leave a VM (no one ever answers the phone.) --- They called back stating their office policy is to send "cancellation letters in the mail" (all patients witnessed that day never received notifications). --- Shocking that a doctor's office policy is to use snail mail to cancel appointments. (about as hands off as you can get related to customer service.) Suggestion: They need to update their office policies and/or hire enough staff to be able to preform the basic functions of: 1) answering the phone; 2) using email notifications when rescheduling appointments.

Dr. Polly has the potential to be a wonderful doctor; however, she currently does not have the…read moreability to see the importance in either advocating or listening to her patients. The intent of all medical professionals should be to listen to patient concerns and rule out all possibility for the sake of reassurance. In my experience, Dr. Polly was quick to bill the simplest of exams, which provided no real substance in regard to medical advice. However, when I requested additional services for my current situation (blood work, neuro referral, etc.), she immediately shut it down as it was not her medical opinion. I even had blue cross blue shield following up regarding my service and when I explained my situation, they also saw concern for the lack of urgency or concern Dr. Polly exhibited. I am not dismissing Dr. Polly's diagnosis, because it could very well be accurate; however, her professionalism and the will to listen to her patients is my concern. My wife had also called expressing her concerns, and she was told her call would be returned; however, it was not despite her follow up call to see if the office may have forgotten. This is not the physician I would want for my loved ones, especially those that do not typically advocate for themselves.

Prov that these folks deserve a YELP review. Dr. Meyers himself is an amazingly caring concerned physician that I think he is an anomaly in this age of insurance controlled business models. The group as a whole is very attentive and flexible with a common sense approach to health care. The nurse practitioners are readily available and the group even has a walk in open 7 days a week.
