A delicious large pepperoni pizza, yummy cheesy sticks, AND a liter soda for $20?! I'm in! The service was okay, don't expect them to be super enthusiastic or crazy nice, but I mean it's a pizza place? Lol I'm not there for the service, I want my food and that's it. Place looked pretty clean too. We love it here now

Probably the best pizza place in town, hands down. Their garlic butter sauce you add onto every pizza is what got us coming back for more. This is our 3rd time and our order is still the same, super Hawaiian and cheesy stix. Highly recommend this place over all other pizza joints, I guarantee it'll be a changer for you.

Great prices and the pizza is comparable to Costco as far as quality goes. Nice staff. Short wait sometimes but there are chairs in the lobby.

We bought the cheesy bread, two deep dish, and four regular. We felt the prices was very reasonable for one topping a piece. The cheesy bread was very soft in the middle, crunchy sides with a very delicious butter sauce on the side of it We also got two deep pan pizza very filling pizza right amount of sauce and it's also not super thick in the middle. The outside very crunchy when you get to the outside and a good balance of sauce, cheese, and topping. The four regular pizzas we got was two pepperoni, bell pepper, and mushroom. The ingredients were very well spread out so you can enjoy it on every slice, you don't have something over powering the other which made us all super happy. The crust was super crispy when the middle was still fluffy enough to enjoy every bite. Overall, I would recommend this place, the prices seem fair and the workers were very helpful being the first time we have gone. For sure will go back!

Unfortunately we won't be going back. The Pizzas are advertised as one price but then after taxes and whatever other fees it winds up costing you $25 for two pies. I can get 4 at Little Caesars for that cost, not to mention Sauce used to be given with food now it's $1.29 and they use smaller cups? It can't take more than $5 to make a Pizza. I understand you need to run your business but the prices seem out there. It's unfortunate because my kids love this place, the quality has gone down from the first time we had it and honestly some of the employees are kind of rude. As one of the 3 toppings I asked for double pepperoni there is no way they put double on the pie I came home with. It is what it is... Do better for your community as a Mom and Pop establishment, this is why the corporations are winning...

Best place in San Diego to come for pizza if you want something that is good quality and affordable! We decided to order them via GrubHub after reading the good reviews from multiple places. We decided to get the supreme pizza, garlic parmesan wings, and cheesy bread sticks! LET ME TELL YOU, I am a cheese lover and those cheesy bread sticks were the best bread sticks I've ever had in my ENTIRE life! The pizza was sooo good, almost Pizza Hut quality according to my mom! And I am not a fan of garlic parmesan but those wings were absolutely delicious! We loved this place so much so that we ordered them all week! Let's also mention that they did not forget anything in our order! There isn't a very large menu avail, and there was also no option to include cheese and peppers, but we honestly didn't even need it! And let's not forget to mention those super cheap prices! You aren't gonna find a large pizza nowhere else for $7.50 of this quality! We will forever be a customer of this pizza joint! read more

I was in the area shopping recently when I got a craving for pizza and came across this place. My friends and I shared a mushroom & pepperoni pizza with wings and we weren't disappointed. The crust was really great on this pizza and they aren't shy with the toppings. The wings were very good and not too spicy. Great service and reasonable prices. read more

Excellent food and service. Fatima was very helpful, made sure I got the custom ordered pizza I wanted. Very fast, low prices and high quality ingredients, tasty crust. Better prices than the big pizza delivery franchises, and better flavor. Highly recommended. This is now my go to restaurant for pizza, and I look forward to trying their other menu items. Worst place to buy pizza !!!! Where do I start !!!!! I would give it a negative if they had that option. First of all, the pizza was not fresh the guy pulled it out of a oven before I can even finish my order, and also the guy who took my order was not welcoming, doesn't know the value of customer service, no smile nor friendly service, when everything was done I asked for plates and packets of cheese... apparently they charge for pepper and cheese packets and do not give plates, I got to the park with kids and feed them and honestly never had a pizza taste like public school pizza ...never again will I step foot in this place, I'm not happy and I live in El Cajon and will make sure to point people away from this awful place called pizza express!! read more

There are many cheep pizza places in El Cajon but this joint has to be the cheapest. One decent sized pep pizza, wings, bread and a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi for under $20??? Yes please! It wasn't bad, wasn't great but it was decent and the one girl and cook on duty never stopped moving the entire time we were there waiting. Every time the girls are working they never answer the phone. I have to call so many times just to get an answer. If the guys are working they usually answer first call. Owners really should be monitoring the phone. Overall fantastic pizza. I can only imagine how many customers they are loosing who to elsewhere when we the customers cannot get through on the phone. read more

I've been driving by this place for a long time now and a pizza craving made me walk in, along with their $5 large pizza offer. I ended ordering their #1 combo. 1 large pizza, 2 liter, bread sticks, and choice of sauce for about $10. Great deal! The cashier could have been a bit more welcoming and professional, but i wasnt offended in any way. The quality of the pizza was delicious! Sauce, cheese, crust, all were so good. The breadsticks weren't my favorite. If you like tons of garlic, then you'll love these. If you're looking for a deal on some quality pizza, this is a must try. read more

Don't waste your time going to this restaurant I know it looks appealing because they have cheap food but everybody there is rude they don't honor their discounts the way they say they will customers are missed treating a lot of the time your pizza is cold sometimes it taste like it's a day old even though it was in the warmer so many better places for literally like two dollars more read more

I love their pizza. Decided to try it because I was so hungry and needed something fast. Luckily they did have fresh pepperoni pizza at the time. All I can say is that for the price, their pizza tastes better than pizza hut or little caesars. I love the crust and don't really mind the grease on the box because well, most pizzas have that. The guy who works in the afternoon is super nice and super friendly, always smiling. Great customer service. I think it's worth it. P.S. Btw, the supreme pizza is my favorite and...they have coupons :-) read more

Great Pizza and manager. We buy their pizza all the time for years and it is very tasty and a great deal for $5.00 or the combo for around $10. Great Monday special with a dollar off the $5 pizza and very nice new owners. Each time you buy a pizza here they give you point towards a new pizza. I say try this place it is realllly good and for the price its a cheap dinner. read more

I was looking online for a pizza shop in the area and pizza Xpress popped up. Tried one of their pies a couple of days ago and I was not disappointed. I love this place! Whenever I'm in a rush we stop for a quick pizza! Quality a lot better than pizza hut, domino's and little Ceasars. One time I had leftover pizza fron this place, I heated in the oven the next day and it tasted as fresh as the night before. Totally recommend this place. read more

Pizza xpress is the go to place for cheap pizza that tastes great. I really like the pizza here, for the most part the pizza is fresh out of the oven. They are constantly making pizza, so unlike some other big chain pizzerias, the pizza you get if almost always made when orders. The only down side is that it usually takes about 10 minutes, so life hack call in before and order your pizza, so that as soon as you arrive you pizza will be out the oven and ready to take home. The pizza is on the thinner crust and they don't use excessive amount of pizza sauce. So if you are all about this kind of pizza, this will hit the spot. read more

When it arrived the pizza was smushed to one side of the box and the cheese coming off to one side, like it had been sideways a while. They have just gotten it wrong too many times to bother when there are better, more reliable options. I appreciate that they apologized when they got the order wrong before and gave us a complimentary pizza. My husband liked them and remembered liking them and kept wanting to get them, but now even he is over it. Just to had update since my last review was a 5 star and it definitely isn't current.

Opening the door we were greeted with the old school charm of a restaurant that has been around for over 50 years. Our server was delightful and very fast. In fact the entire staff had a warm energetic family feel. And, happily we beat the rush giving us the ability to hear each other and take our time enjoying the meal. Dad and I started with the chicken tortellini soup which was a little too salty for us. Tortellini was slightly overcooked making it flowery and missing meat or cheese. Mom's house salad was ok. She did comment on being disappointed in the oil served with it. Our appetizer was shrimp scampi. This was good, full of flavor. Shrimp was slightly overcooked giving it a semi rubbery edge. On to the entrees. They were huge! I had lasagna. I think when you see it delivered in a sea of sauce you need to be a bit wary. The sauce was spicy, as it should be. Noodles were thick and prominent . Sadly that left little to no room for my favorite part - cheese and meat which were limited. Dad gave the manicotti a try which was ok. Mom had eggplant parmesan, one of her favs. Her sauce was a little bit tart. Eggplant was a nice moist and tender slice with just the right amount of cheese. She loved how the strands of spaghetti wrapped around her fork so she could dip it into the sauce without a spoon. Yup, she really liked the Pasta. Overall she felt it was a nice Italian meal. Very popular spot as it filled up before 6pm and a party of 30 was expected! You can see it's a neighborhood

There is A Ignorant Man i assume involved with the ownership who likes to be disrepectful when you order a pizza on the price they have on the sign outside. Then he acts some type of way. It honestly took alot not to spit in this guys face. Dont even bother with this place. The lady working was respectful and nice. I can tell right away this guy is a womanizer talking any type of way to a grown man who wants to order a pizza. Idk wtf the othwr reviews are talking about. This place is the best pizza joint in town way better than Little Caesars cardboard pizza that's for sure!!! I really enjoy the fast and friendly service from this place and I love how they always remember me and my team whenever we order pizza for our business meetings or events. We also stop by on Mondays for their all time crazy special which is one large pizza for only $3.99. It's definitely a $10 pie for only $5 and the specialty pizzas are very very very tasty!!! They range from about 7-12 bucks which is very reasonable. read more
