This place is greatly good. It's a nice cheap pizza place that still brings high quality. Much better than the chain places. It makes a great celebratory place or cheap date night place. I wanted to save some money, so I was going to order through DoorDash from Pizza express. I called, to ask if she could please put peppers packages and cheese on the side. She was so rude to me, and I was extremely nice... very kind and patient even when she was being rude. She was like "what are you talking about?" as if I was stupid... and then proceeded to tell me that cheese wasn't free and would cost extra.. she just had attitude. It made the entire restaurant seem very unappealing to me. I decided not to order off DoorDash, and treat myself to some quality pizza I would rather spend more money, and give my money to professional kind people who treat their customer as well then save a few bucks. The cheesy bread was very soft in the middle, crunchy sides with a very delicious butter sauce on the side of it We also got two deep pan pizza very filling pizza right amount of sauce and it's also not super thick in the middle. The outside very crunchy when you get to the outside and a good balance of sauce, cheese, and topping. The four regular pizzas we got was two pepperoni, bell pepper, and mushroom. The ingredients were very well spread out so you can enjoy it on every slice, you don't have something over powering the other which made us all super happy. The crust was super crispy when the middle was still fluffy enough to enjoy every bite. This is indeed an inexpensive Pizza joint. We got a medium pizza with three toppings for $10. We chose sausage, mushroom and pineapple. They made the pizza in a very short amount of time which is good. Although upon picking up the pizza, the kid at the register never bothered to ask if I wanted any condiments or even knapkins. In which I asked for pepper and parmesan, and he only gave me THREE packets of pepper. I asked for more, and he gave me like another three packets of pepper. Where's the parmesan? I also asked if they had plates which they also didn't have. And I should've asked for ranch because the pizza was super bland. Like absolutely no flavor from the sauce or cheese or bread. The only thing you can taste is cheap sausage and watered down pineapple. They did give a lot and an even amount of toppings. Though the presentation was there, but quality is not. Seldom do I ever write reviews and the few I have left were all good, so the fact that I'm leaving a bad review should mean something. I ordered through uber eats and I won't comment on how long it took or how inconvenient the delivery was because frankly that could've been ubereats fault. However, I can say that my order was incorrect when I got it and was also lacking items after I had called over the phone to clarify what I wanted. (I called asking for Parmesan cheese right after placing my uber order on the app, she said they already put it in the bag... lie) So I ordered the xtreme pepperoni pizza, once I finally got my pizza it was just a regular pepperoni pizza. Also the wings I ordered were the worst showing of wings I had ever seen. So I call the place to see if they had maybe mixed up my order, after explaining my situation the person at the other end of the line blamed the uber driver for picking up the wrong order, she said they tried to call the uber driver to come back but they refused. When I restated what was incorrect, they then changed the story and said the order I had received was correct (I'm pretty sure I can tell the difference between a garlic Parmesan crust and a completely plain one) basically calling me a liar. She then states that I didn't even order wings and I told her I have an uber receipt to prove it. Like I said earlier, I'm not one to complain but I felt as if I was met with the worst manners and the staff of Pizza Xpress was extremely rude. Today I had a terrible experience at Pizza Express. I sent my boyfriend in to pick up a pizza that I ordered. When I arrived to pick up the food I sent my boyfriend in and the pizza was late. We went to get gas and came back. I went inside to pick up the order and brought the receipt in the picture. I told her that I was there to pick up my order proceeded with my name and provided her the receipt. She then told me that I did not come in with the receipt. She then told me to show her my car and my boyfriend. She told me that I may have picked the receipt off of the ground. I believe today I have experienced racism due to being black and wearing a bandana. My boyfriend was not wearing the same attire. Why do I have to show you my boyfriend and car when I have a receipt?
