The owner answered the phone he put me on hold for about 3 minutes, after returning I asked for the 16" with one topping, he said it's $9.99 and I said ok but just to let you know online it says $8.99 he replied in a very rude way "It's only one dollar one dollar" I said it's fine and asked to do half and half (half pepperoni and half beef), he then said it will be $15 when I asked why he said because you getting 2 toppings. Although they will make a thin crust variety for you, this particular pizza was a medium crust similar to what you would get a Pizza Hut or Little Cesar's, but only slightly better. Pizza came with a normal amount of sliced pepperoni, a very good amount of frozen variety yet tasty Italian sausage pieces, and a good amount of sliced mushrooms. All three tasted good in their own way, and if I had to make a comment about the pizza, a little more cheese would of been nice. The crust was good and had moist inner breading and a light crisp on the outside. The pizza was even better the next day when I crisped it up even more on a low heats over an iron skillet. The WORST food-experience I have ever received. Everything went smoothly to begin with, I ordered online through MyPizza.com and was more than pleased to see that under the "delivery deals," was a promo for three pizzas, (two of which that were two-any-topping pizzas and one cheese) for 8.99. After that I also took note that my delivery would be free as long as my order was $15+, so I added 10 "hot and tasty" wings for 7.99 and a 2 liter of Pepsi for 2.29. When I looked at my online recipt, and email recipt, I was under the impression that I was getting all of this for a whopping total of $20.91, added tax included. I got an estimated delivery time, and was more than impressed when I got a call from the shop to know my delivery guy was on his way in 10-15 minuets. Up my drive-way comes an all-black 2014 Nissan Altima, with no indication of any sort for that car belonging to anybody who worked for "Tasty Pizza" or a uniform on the "delivery guy." The only reason my boyfriend answered the door was because I saw somebody holding three pizza-boxes, and was ready for the exchange of money-for-pizza (and wings and soda). My boyfriend handed the delivery guy $21, which would be enough fare for the amount due, and the delivery guy cleared his throat and "corrected" us for a total of $40.91. Refusing to pay the amount that was not on my receipt, I showed him my online receipt and explained the situation to him, he seemed understanding, but pulled out his brand-new iPhone 6+ and called, who I'm assuming, was his manager. He said a few things in his language, which I'm assuming was East Indian, then handed me his phone and told me to explain. I answered his phone, and began to explain, however all I got in response was "hello?" assuming I wasn't speaking loud enough, I apologized and began to explain the situation. Again, all I got was eight more "hellos" then she hung up. I gave the delivery man back his phone, and told him that she (his manager?) hung up, so he called her back, and again, the same thing happened. Finally, he calls back for a third time, and explains the situation, he lets he know that BOTH my receipt and email said that my total would only be $20.91, but she refused to accept anything less than $40.91. Frustrated, I told them to take their pizzas back, but I'm sorry, I wasn't going to pay that price when it was not the total on my receipt. I do not recommend buying from here, unless you are prepared to pay for more than what your receipt states. However, I will definitely recommend on ordering from Pizza Hut, where you can get two medium any-toppings, any crust, any sauce, and any drizzle pizza all for $7.99 each. read more

I used to love coming here I mean it's still okay but there's a couple things that really pissed me off, let's start the review, so the bread sticks were dry with no flavor, they were $2.49 which isn't bad, the sauce is an extra $0.75 which is okay as well I rate them a 6/10 in flavor but for the price why not, the $5 pizza is only that price if you get cheese or pepperoni, I got bacon and pepperoni and they charged me $6.49 plus the $1.50 for the additional topping, annoying because it's supposed to be $5 plus $1.50 but it's okay I got past that, they don't charge for card which is good, let's get to where I started getting pissed, I came in on a Thursday, they said they get most their shipments on Wednesday's, so 1 day apart, I ask for red peppers and parmesan cheese they said they don't have it and that they're out, how the F*** lol how are you out if you received shipment a day previous, alright got past that as well, the pizza was DRY, wth on top of everything the pizza was dry and not even cut correctly I had to recut it because I was destroying the pizza by taking a slice... that was my experience I rate the pizza at a 5/10 therefore I don't think my $12.17 was justified for what I purchased stick to no breadsticks and one topping pepperoni pizza for $5 from now on, for other things I'll take my business elsewhere read more

I was on my way to try and win the dunebuggy raffle at Golden Acorn Casino, so while going through El Cajon, I stopped at this little hole-in-the-wall establishment next to a liquor store (run by quite a character, I might add). I ordered a pizza with mushroom toppings. That cost a total of $5.43 and the pizza was ready in 15 minutes. I put the boxed pizza in the back seat of my car and took off for the casino. On I-8 East, I pulled off at the Viewpoint exit to eat a few slices and was totally amazed at how good this pizza tasted.
