Stayed at a hotel close to this place. Went in for a quick bite. We split the penne with truffle sauce, a mixed salad, and the minestrone soup. I loved the penne. Cooked a perfect al dente. The salad was iceberg lettuce and sliced tomato with a very small amount of dressing, like almost none. The soup was a total disappointment. They had blended it to a watery consistency. Bland.
Service was ok. We were the only ones in the place but had to make eye contact with the waitress to get served. I incorrectly assumed I would get the soup and salad first but the penne came first, then shortly after came the soup and salad. So we had a table full of food. Small complaint and I probably should have told her to bring the salad first but oh well.
I'm pretty sure we will never return but the penne with truffle sauce is worth the visit. read more
