Thursday in for a salad and pizza! Not busy... that's good! Our Bartender server was great. Chatted with us for a bit too. We decided to split our salad and they put them on two little plates... awesome! Spinach, cranberry, walnuts, & feta with Balsamic Vinegrette. It was so good. The pizza was just as well remembered. Fresh dough, fresh ingredients. They were out of a few things tho. But didn't affect us at all! Good ole classic music on too. Love the Pinball games and foto booth too. They even have a kiddy game, Donkey Kong. Kids allowed till 10 I guess.

Yes, it's OPEN! Went in for pizza with the family. The cheese bread was pretty good, pizza was fine. Nice large TV in the corner playing football. Music wasn't too loud. 4 stars because nothing from this experience was anything to write home about. Waitress was very nice though.

I am smitten by pizza and beer. Let's just say I love happy hour and they have a good selection of pizza toppings. $10 for a large one topping pizza. $2pints on Tuesdays. Lots of specials. Cheap prices, it's nuts. Bar tender was very nice & friendly in a Not flirty way. The way I like it. Lots of Tacoma locals dining and drinking. From all range of ages. Pretty cool place, will go back. Free parking for 90 minutes outside!

Some of the best pizza in tacoma! Amazing, friendly staff and some great pizza, calzone, sandwhich and pasta options! Great for takeout and during non covid times an awesome place for pinball and family time or cocktail with friends

My partner and I checked out this place after getting tattoos at a shop nearby. We were both hungry and we got excited about the thought of pizza. We went inside around 2-3 pm and it wasn't busy. There are multiple games to play, and a machine that gives you change. We went straight to the bar, ordered a beer and a large pizza. We had told each other we were only going to get one slice each but there was a special: $9.99 for a large one topping pizza. Of course we had to get it. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was sooo good! The bartender was super friendly and out on reggae music that my partner was super stoked about. We played pinball after eating (we didn't finish the pizza and the pizza was good as leftovers even after 2 days!). To play pinball, it cost 50 cents. Loved the vibe and will definitely be back.

Nachos only 9.99

The service was definitely a little slow but our server made up for it in kindness. These drinks are strong you will get a buzz real quick which is awesome when your paying to drink. This fat ass platter of nachos was 9.99 WTF. When he brought them out my jaw dropped. Our server rocked he was the only one working and had such a positive attitude and I saw him showing everyone such hospitality. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the mood to step out.

Food is great but their phone is always off the hook so it's pretty hard to place a take out order.

I'm 99% sure it didn't have croutons buried in the middle, but she freaked out that her fork hit something crunchy and hard. Was most likely bacon but whatever. (The bacon was cooked too crispy perfection visually). She lost it. He didn't argue and had her another one made with the bacon on the side. Kuddos to him. While I fully sympathize with her concerns with gluten, she didn't fish out an actual crouton to show. The 3 cheese burger is absolutely a must! Personally I recommend salt and vinegar chips with it... Great mocktail options and they were happy to make anything off menu for me! Parking is tough but 100000% recommend checking this place out.

It's a neighborhood bar, full service, with great beers on tap and great drinks. I spent two weeks in Tacoma with my sister, and we visited almost everyday. I met Jessie and Camille amongst sweet people. So very friendly. Their food options were special. I loved their simple hamburger and adored the dill pickle dip, I went home that night and found a similar recipe and made it for a party at my niece's. I'm a big fan of breweries, especially those with several drinks on draught or tap, and if they're really good, I'll buy them in a bottle. However, I read their review and noticed that they had vegan and vegetarian options, so I thought, "You know what? That's a combination I can't resist. Beers with a delicious sandwich!" A few days later, I made plans to visit on Saturday, which happened to be one of the two days this year that it snowed in the Pirec. It was quite amusing with the parking and the snow that stuck everywhere. As soon as I walked in, the bar was buzzing with energy. It had a great vibe. I didn't think I'd get any seats, but I managed to snag one at the bar with a very friendly person. I spent all but about 3 to 4 hours there. The sandwich I ordered was called the Rainier, and it was mentioned in the review, but the name wasn't revealed. It consists of a field roast loaf, Chao vegan cheese, herbed vegan mayonnaise, tomato, red onion, and arugula on sourdough bread. I'm not a big fan of mayonnaise, even if it's vegan, so I swapped it out with some pesto-style creamy cheese, and it turned out even better than I expected. The sandwich was a perfect five out of five. I would definitely order it every time I come. It came with a side of chips, which was a great addition. The sandwich was massive, so I could only eat half of it. I took the other half home for the next day. For my beers, I'm a big stout-and-porter guy, so I went with the Fort George's. They had two options: the Salted Caramel Cavatica & Matryoshka Vanilla. Both were exceptionally flavorful and probably my favorite porters I've had in all of Washington and many other states. Unfortunately, they ran out of the Salted Caramel Cavatica, so I ended up drinking the Matryoshka Vanilla for the rest of the night and didn't mind at all. Overall, I had a fantastic time at this place. I'm definitely going to make it a regular stop in my monthly rotations around Tacoma. Highly recommend stopping by this place. It's definitely a five. Service is amazing, and the drinks are worth the trip. They have an array of options, which is what I love about this place. Until next time!

That said, there are a few things that could be changed to make this a much more comfortable place to hang out: 1. Replace the bar stools. Every stool seat tilts forward at what feels like 45 degrees and when I take my feet off the bar foot rest I always feel like I'm going to fall forward. 2. Bring back the regular 4-top tables in the front area. The low height living room furniture there currently is uncomfortable and impractical for a small indoor beer bar. 3. Center the TV over the bar instead of having it tucked into the corner of the back of the room. I hope 3 stars isn't too harsh, but these issues are what keep my wife and I from going here more often

We never disliked the beer but it was also not one of our most favorite breweries in Tacoma. But we have learned that it looks like new ownership has taken over at this brewery. The name remains the same. The merchandise is mostly the same in concept but with a few tweeks. Probably what we noticed most was the beer recipes changed as did some of the beer options. We felt like it was an improvement actually. We have been here twice now since the changes and it definitely generates more motivation to go over there. We have had a few very tasty lighter beers since on the first visit. On the second we had a great Black IPA called Nightmare 21. Black IPA'S aren't super common so we get them when we can. Another fun dark beer was Haunted Windchimes was what it was called. The name itself sold me on wanting it but it didn't disappoint either. So looking forward to more frequent returns to North 47!
