Man does this hit the spot after a long day on the mountain! To not have to go the busy market and then still come home to have to cook whatever was bought at the market is priceless. Review ratings aside - TBH I liked the pizza. Thin vs regular crust, pepperoni vs meat on meat on meat - it was all very tasty. The topping to crust ratio was perfect. The crust was just the right thickness to hold up to withstand the amount of meaty goodness but also not too thick to take over the flavor and texture of the pizza. Added plus, this was close walking distance to our AirBnB. Lol honestly in Angel Fire this is pretty close to probably everyone's AirBnB. read more

Extremely rude kitchen staff. Not sure if it was the owner or an employee. Upon entering to request a menu (since it is take out only and they don't have a website), this guy barks at us (2 adults, 3 kids) to go outside because we were holding cups of hot cocoa. We are on vacation and never been here and since it is not a sit down restaurant, who knew you'd have to dump your cocoa before ordering a pizza to go. We went to Angel Fired Pizza instead. I would give this a zero if I could. Service was so slow and managing staff was horribly rude. Took over 2 hours for our order and on top of that they charged us $40 for a pizza that could've been $20 if they listened. Ordered 2- topping chicken and bacon with side of ranch and they changed us $38.64 for their house chicken ranch pizza. When we talked to the manager about the confusion, she was very dismissive and blamed everyone but herself. Horrible. Wouldn't even let us change our order because "it was already in the oven" even though they said it was a 20 minute wait still. The rest of the staff looked scared and said they couldn't talk to us, "only the manager can talk to you". The place was full of smoke and felt toxic to wait in. DONT GO HERE. I loooove crust but their crust was really thick and oddly doughy even if the rest of the pizza was cooked well. I'd opt for the thin crust next time. They came out (6) in a paper basket. We had to ask for some sort of dipping sauce - we got ranch. They were very tasty and the ranch was good on them. We also ordered a regular crust medium pizza with Italian sausage and green olives. The crust was exceptional. The rest of the pizza was just good. We wound up taking 1 garlic knot & 2 pieces of pizza home, so all that dough was filling. These are garlic "rolls".... Do not confuse them with garlic knots, per the delightful lady who makes them. They're quite good so don't overlook ordering them. Also be sure to get the ranch dressing. It's yummy! The pizza was pretty good. The sauce was good, and given the rolls, we probably should have just ordered the ultra thin crust. The regular crust is very doughy! Number one: we had not eaten all day. We were past hungry. Not a lot open in Angel Fire, and we didn't want to drive out of town. We just wanted to eat. I phoned Pizza Stop after seeing a menu online (without prices). Being only a quarter mile us, it was a no brainer. I phoned in our order for a large mountain meat pizza + black olives, regular crust. It was ready in 15 minutes for pick up (boo, Ciovid-19). The smell of that pizza was unreal when hubby got in the car. The plzza box in my lap was heavy. I mean...HEAVY! We got back to our condo, and had a peek. Wow! We dove in, and it was so hot the cheese would string from the box yo our mouths. It was fantastic! As hungry as I was. I could only eat one slice, as it was thick with meat and cheese, and olives! Yay! We had breakfast for Tuesday!!! For those who might faint at the thought of a $35 pizza, you gotta know: it was the best meal we have had in Angel Fire. They charged us three bucks for three small containers of ranch dip and when we asked for Parmesan cheese, they gave us two small packages for two large pizzas and five people. The service is also lackluster at best and to be honest they are normally just downright rude. Either they know how good the pizza is or they are aware of how few other choices you have while in town so they just don't care.
