Bacon was crisp to perfection and the spicy honey was the perfect complement to the salad. The crust is exactly what you would expect with a wood fire oven. It was crisp with small charred bubbles, fold was on point with the right about of chew. My husband got the carnivore which of course I sampled. The sauce was light with a delicious tomato flavor. The pizzas were both amazing. The service was attentive and very friendly. Downside we are only in town for one night! Highly recommend!

The waitress did a great job explaining and her recommendations were spot on! We started off with the bruschetta. It was very fresh and layered with flavors! We then ordered the Salsiccia Italiana (Mozzarella, Sausage, basil, olive oil, sea salt) and the Crepa (Mozzarella, bacon, basil, garlic, balsamic glaze, olive oil, sea salt). We both agreed the the Crepa was our favorite but they were both very good! The Italian sausage was very flavorful. We ate half of each pizza and saved room for dessert. Our waitress recommended the S'mores with added cookie dough. It was so yummy and worth the calories! We love supporting these type of specialty restaurants in St Joe. We will definitely be back!

This place is consistently good. We love coming here for lunch on a weekend when we want to take a…read moreshort drive. The pizza always has a drool-worthy amount of cheese and ample sauce (which I love lots of sauce). The crust is great. Sometimes it's cooked a little over or a little under or right on the money, but we enjoy it all. Now let me tell you about the shining star. I was in the mood for something a little different. I decided to get a calzone. I love chicken, bacon & ranch pizza so I asked if they could do that in a calzone. The waitress asked the cook, and yes, they can! The ranch would be on the side--which is the *perfect* way to make it. IT WAS AMAZING. The calzone crust has a garlic butter wash that made the top crispy. And right under that is a mountain of ooey-gooey cheese with tasty chicken and real bits of bacon. Drizzle a little ranch onto every bite and you have something super tasty to dream about every time you think about taking a little drive to Dearborn (which is well worth it). Great job, Main Street Pizza & Bistro!

Finally got a chance to come try the deli version and it did not disappoint. First, I LOVE Andrea and Nick - they are the kindest, warmest, most welcoming people! I was so excited they had pizza, as they had the BEST pizza for takeout during COVID. It was every bit as good as I remembered, maybe even better! If you see them advertising for pizza on their instagram definitely go in and check it out. Finally, the sticky toffee was just as good at home as it was in the restaurant.

I was in the mood for enchiladas so it hit the spot. It had a ton of cheese. I would have enjoyed more red sauce to cheese ratio. The chicken enchilada was my favorite, followed by the cheese&onion. But that's just what I usually favor. The ground beef was good. The salsa was... a bit odd. My husband said it tastes like it hung out in the fridge awhile. I think he was right. It was real cold and kind of bland. It just wasn't my thing. The chips were very bland and needed salt. But, I appreciate that I can easily add salt, which I did. Those who are trying to limit their salt intake would be able to eat the chips too. My husband got a burrito thing with refried beans on the inside and pork chili and cheese on top. It was a tiny bit spicy in a good way. It was decent. I'd come back, and try something else. For the money, this place is a good value if you think about it. You'd spend more at Taco Bell for the same amount of food and this is better.

I'd typically give this 4 stars, but the price, service and the homemade meringue PIE bump this up to 5, especially because this place is way better than the current 3.5 star rating. I mean, you're not in the midst of epic food eateries in De Kalb MO. Lunch was chicken salad on a croissant, and a big bowl of homemade creamy potato soup. The chicken salad was large, tasty, and had onions, celery and grapes in perfect proportions. The soup was hot and thick, with very tiny bits of carrot and other veggies. I had the chocolate meringue pie. The crust is light and buttery. The meringue is old fashioned goodness. The chocolate is dark and rich and not overly sweet. The coconut meringue looked really awesome and everyone said the coconut was incredible. I was part of a group of over 25 people and the owner made and served all the food and drinks. She did a superb job cooking and serving this meal. Water, tea (sweet or unsweetened) and coffee was included. Lunch was $13.75 including tax. That's sandwich, soup, PIE and a drink! Great place for a large gathering. I didn't have my phone handy so I couldn't grab pics. But the next time I'm close, I'll be stopping by for some coconut meringue pie!
